Background:
The clan's founder, the man who elevated the Kuroki to a true ninja clan
from a band of related hirelings, still leads the Kuroki. It was he who
discovered the abilities of Chakra tattoos. It must be said that he was
never an especially gifted ninja, he simply got lucky. How exactly has
never been told: the smallest hint might help a foe discover the secret
behind the ink. What is widely known, however, is that the man always liked
tattoos. One tattoo, however, changed his life: a pair of tattoos on the
back of his hands, which he realized he could control with Chakra.
With their colorful desert robes and their equally colorful tattoos, which
are often stacked one on top of the other, the Kuroki clan has abandoned
their nomadic ways. They have joined Sunagakure, and listen to the word of
the Kazekage.
Specialties:
The Kuroki use their bodies as canvases, creating a multitude of uses for
their tattoos. Experimenting with the ink, they have discovered new things
that Chakra can do with them. Almost all children are given a new version
tattoos: a set of lines, starting at the fingertips and ascending over the
arm, with tips unique to each individual child. All children have one of
two versions: some have little blades on the end, some have little spheres
that are used to strike the enemy. The ability to personalize the tattoo is
something the artistic Kuroki appreciate greatly.
