Mystic Noh-men Lv. 1 (D-Rank):
This is the Mask that a Nogakujin starts with. Aside from providing Stats there are certain other skills that can be applied for as the Nogakujin learns how to control the Mystic Noh-men. However, there are no inherent powers to the Mask otherwise.
Mask Powers: None.
Appable Mask Skills:
Noh-men Accuracy (D-Rank Taijutsu Attack; Tricky; Blunt, Sharp) The mask has special lenses in the eye holes that correct and enhance vision, allowing for improved accuracy with Taijutsu and weapon attacks. Only possible while wearing Mystic Noh-men.
Noh-men Henge I (D-Rank Ninjutsu Supplemental - Attack & Skill; AoE; Stealth. No damage) Causes the mask to appear to become a "real" face. It is not disrupted by E-Rank attacks, and requires a reduced amount of Chakra. Lasts until cancelled or disrupted by D-Rank or higher attacks. Only possible while wearing Mystic Noh-men.
Noh-men Voice Manipulation (D-Rank Genjutsu Attack; Psi. No damage) Can alter a subject's perception of the Nogakujin's voice at will. The Genjutsu allows the user to change pitch, tone, apparent gender, accents and inflections, and even cause the voice to sound as though it is coming from somewhere else. Only possible while wearing the Mystic Noh-men, and requires a Genjutsu Link be established first.
Mystic Noh-men Lv. 2 (C-Rank):
When a Mystic Noh-men is improved by permanently focusing energy into it, this will enhance the natural aspect of the Nogakujin's self. Essentially, rather than the versatility of a second Mask, the individual will gain a better understanding of himself or herself as a person and as a fighter. The Mask's design may change slightly, but mostly looks the same as its base state. Beyond this understanding of one's limits, the Mystic Noh-men adds to the base capabilities, gains the capacity for more Mask Skills, and unlocks an inherent power.
The Level 2 Mystic Noh-men is able to hypnotise those who look upon it. This is not a constant effect, and requires effort to achieve — however, it does not use Chakra. This hypnosis effect is generally not sufficient to influence the victim's mind in any lasting manner. Instead, he or she seems to go into a trance state which can be disrupted by physical contact, or sudden sensations (such as pain, cold, etc.). However, while in a trance, the individual is unaware of his or her surroundings and can be walked around, avoided, or otherwise left to stand in place staring at nothing until the Nogakujin is long gone.
Mask Powers:
Mask Hypnosis (D-Rank Genjutsu Attack; Attack Stun; Psi. No damage.) A temporary hypnosis ability that relies on the target seeing the Nogakujin's mask and being mentally trapped by the sight of it.
Appable Mask Skills (in addition to Lv. 1 Skills):
Mask Reflex (C-Rank Taijutsu Defense; Versatile Defense; Stealth Perception AND Dodge-type) The Mystic Noh-men has sensory augmentation devices — such as audio-pickups, chemical analysis, and temperature-reactive materials — that can detect incoming attacks better than the wearer. The Nogakujin trains to instantly interpret the information provided by the augmentation, and react to perceived threats with an evasion attempt. This evasion is performed by reflex, rather than conscious thought, and so occurs before the Nogakujin is truly aware of the danger. Only possible while wearing Mystic Noh-men.
Noh-men Henge II (C-Rank Ninjutsu Supplemental - Attack & Skill; AoE; Stealth. No damage) In addition to the mask seeming to become a real face, the body also changes appearance to mimic the mask. The advantage over normal Henge is that the Henge does not cancel when struck by attacks lower than C-Rank. Lasts until cancelled or disrupted by a C-Rank+ attack.
Noh-men False Death (C-Rank Genjutsu Attack; Tricky; Psi. No damage.) A combination of acting and Genjutsu that causes an observer to believe that the user has just died (usually by violence). Can be used to trick an enemy into shifting attention away from the "dead" Nogakujin, potentially allowing for a surprise attack.
