Newsfile Stat Tiers
A ninja is able to increase their stats to a maximum level based on which Tier they are in. Note, while the Stat Tiers have ninja ranks associated with them, you do not need to increase your rank as a ninja to go to the next Tier. The Teir that a ninja is in automatically updates as the character gains stat points.

Tier 0 - Student or Villager Level
Less than 24 total stat points
Maximum level for a stat = 5
Gain 1 Stat point per 2 XP
Tier 1 - Genin Level
24-39 total stat points
Maximum level for a stat = 6
Gain 1 stat point per 4 xp
Tier 2 - Chuunin Level
40-55 total stat points
Maximum level for a stat = 8
Gain 1 stat point per 8 xp
Tier 3 - Jounin Level
56 or more total stat points
Maximum level for a stat = 10
Gain 1 stat point per 12 xp
