Background:
The Uchiha Clan is one of the most famous and one of the most powerful
clans of Konohagakure. They have the rare and infamous Sharingan ocular
ability. They are known throughout the world for their unrelenting power.
The Uchiha are typically strong with Ninjutsu (namely fire-based
techniques) and projectile weaponry. They are an overly proud clan that
lives for power and strength.
Before Konohagakure was established, the Uchiha were one of two strongest
clans within the Land of Fire. Constantly at war with their rivals, the
Senju, the Uchiha suffered many casualties. At any point in time during the
Clan Wars, if a Lord hired a Senju clan member for a mission, the rival
Lord would most certainly hire an Uchiha.
However, with the introduction of Konohagakure (and the other Hidden
Villages), the Senju and the Uchiha formed a truce. The Uchiha were given
their own land within the village, as were the Senju. Despite this, the
unsettling nature of being in an alliance with a mortal enemy has since
bred distrust amongst the clan. A year after Konohagakure was created, the
leader of the Uchiha challenged the First Hokage (also the leader of the
Senju) for the title of Hokage — but he was defeated and later presumed
dead. Since then, there have been both periods of peace and of suspicion
between the two great clans of Konohagakure.
Specialties:
The Bloodline Limit of the Uchiha clan is a special ocular ability that is
present within members of the Uchiha clan. Often being compared to the
Byakugan of the Hyuuga, the Sharingan is considered the more powerful of
the two. However, in terms of mental, emotional, and physical insight, the
Byakugan is superior.
The Sharingan has up to three tomoe within its infamous red iris. The
Sharingan can see through and mimic the three types of jutsu: Genjutsu,
Ninjutsu, and Taijutsu. Although the Sharingan requires minimal Chakra to
activate, it is not considered a Ninjutsu as it requires no hand seals to
be performed. All the user must do is focus Chakra into his or her eyes and
the Sharingan shall emerge. To use the Sharingan effectively, the user must
be able to keep up with what is shown: it is useless without a mind behind
