Introducing Abe Tsukiko. This Leaf ninja genin is the Mistres of Mirrors.

Background

History, As She Knows It
Tsukiko comes from a lowly fishing village on the shores of the Land of Fire. Born on the night of a terrible storm, the simple people of her home village considered her to be cursed, to be a bad omen. This storm claimed many lives, including her own father's. Living as an outcast in the village was difficult, but Tsukiko persevered. One day, Hyuuga Hiroshi happened through the village on a return from a mission. He spotted her, and recognized in her a command of chakra that few outside the ninja community could have. He brought her back to the newly created hidden village of Konoha. There she proved a quick study. Her quick mind making her a natural ninjutsuist. She began learning a series of mirror based jutsus that none in konoha had seen before, learning them almost instinctually. Hyuuga Hiroshi remained as her team leader watching over her progress.

The Secret History

Tsukiko's father is really Kusakabe Masaaki, a jounin who came from the Land of the Moon. He was sent to spy on, and sabotage, the harbors of the Country of Fire. He would send secret reports of the comings and goings of the shinobi, selling their travel routes so the enemies of the Country of Fire could lay ambushes. He would also sabotage them using rare techniques that combine water and wind jutsu into very powerful storm jutsus. On the night of his supposed death, he was finally discovered by the ninja from the Land of Fire. The climactic battle caused by this confrontation was the cause of the fantastic storms on the night of Tsukiko's birth. It is currently unknown whether or not Masaaki survived that night. Only the Kage of Konoha, and select few others know of Tsukiko's relationship to this foreign ninja. Even Tsukiko herself does not know.

Personality

Tsukiko is a very quiet and calm individual. She is slow to anger and very thoughtful in her actions. She is also a very shy individual. Because she grew up a pariah in her home village, she never learned what it was like to have a friend until she came to Konoha. It's still new to her, but she is learning. Since she came under the tutelage of Souzen Midoru, captain of the Kuroyari, Tsukiko's confidence has grown. She is firm, and much more outgoing than she once was, though she is still quiet.

Appearance

Tsukiko's naturally white hair is probably her most notable feature. She wears it long and straight, held back by a blue headband. Her bangs help to frame her round shaped face. Her pale grey eyes sparkle with a hidden joy, always widely aware. Her shape is trim, not showing any baby fat still, but, standing at a mere four foot and eight inches, her young age is made obvious. She wears a ninja styled gi, gathered tight around her waist and at her wrists. It is a darker blue in color, but opens at the chest to reveal a sky blue shirt on underneath. A light silver chain hangs around her neck with a coin sived disc as a pendant. The disc is perfectly mirrored, shining easily in the light. Similar coin sized mirror discs hang from a solid band bracelet on each wrist. Her pants are in the same style, gathered tight at the waist and ankles, but otherwise being fairly loose to allow a maximum range of movement. A sky blue obi wraps around her waist, supporting a pouch on each hip. A scroll pack lies accross her back with an opening at the side for easy access for her. Her feet are covered by the soft sandals, parted at the big toe that is typical to the ninja. She wears a forehead protector stamped with the mark of a leaf.

Abilities

 + Wind Release: Glitter Storm +

Description: Despite the name, the attack does not rely on glitter. Instead the shinobi uses a burst of wind element energy to create a miniature tornado that picks up any loose, small, easily blown debris. The originator preferred using the glitter from her glitter bomb maneuver to provide ammunition, giving the jutsu its name, but leaves, sand, dirt, paper shreds, and any number of other small debris would work. The items in the storm are given wind element energy, making them a funnel of sharp and dangerous wind blown projectiles.
Wind Release: Glitter Storm

 + Glass Storm +

Description: An attack similar to glitter storm, this is a much amplified version. The shinobi uses wind element chakra to create a massive whirlwind. The chakra empowered wind picks up broken glass from the battlefield as well as loose shuriken, sticks, leaves, and any other debris in the area. This debris is sharpened and charged with the wind chakra, making a massive storm of razor sharp shrapnel.

 + Wind Step +

Description: The shinobi wraps themselves in wind chakra, providing a small protective buffer. This also serves to reduce their weight and wind resistance and increases their speed for a strong leap or sudden dodge out of the way. The skill can also be used to make dramatically augmented jumps or to drift slowly back down to earth.

 + Glitter Bomb +

Description: The shinobi focuses his/her chakra into a packed ball of glitter and powder. When it is thrown, the ball explodes in a shower of glitter and puff of smoke. The chakra charge causes flashes and blurs as the glitter and smoke disorient the target momentarily.

 + Mirror Replacement +

Description: This is a variant of the basic ninjutsu Replacement Technique. When in danger the ninja will quickly substitute himself with a mirror prepared and stored in a scroll. This allows the ninja to quickly flee and hide while the mirror takes the brunt of their opponents attack.

 + Mirror Shield +

Description:
The ninja summons forth a two-way mirror, placing her hand on the back of it. The ninja uses chakra to hold the mirror and infuse the mirror with chakra, making it stronger. This Chakra-hardened mirror is used as a shield, deflecting or blocking the attack.
