Aburame Jade

General Appearance +Open my Description Jade is a mid-teen member of the Aburame clan, Barely hitting 5 feet tall and probably only 100 pounds on her best day she not exactly an intimidating specimen of the ninja world. Shes a pale example of shinobi with silver hair from a rather odd strain of destruction beetles living inside her. Her short hair is tied in a few braids with wire thread. her eyes are a similar color of stormy grey as her hair, not quite Hyuga white but not too far off. Dressing in a long coat that is covered in random silver bits and hiding weapons she would fit in at any classy ninja function. This kind of hides her slim form which is kind of normal for the Aburame though. Her Clothes already seem faded and dusty though like she just came back in from the road and she seems to enjoy it that way. under her faded coat she wears baggy jeans and a tshirt for some local band. Her Headband is tied around her upper right arm. Her Destruction beetles are all a little Odd with White and grey shells instead of black ones. She can be seen talking to them on occasion like most of the clan though hers dont from froma hole on her face and neck instead they seem to all be on her wrists and arms. Distinguishing Features White hair Heavy jacket White Kikaichu Usually a book of some sort. Personality Jade is chronically lazy when shes not on the job. This has led to problems with her parents and her napping in trees alot. Kinda slowed down her medical training too. On the other hand she also has that wierd habit alot of Aburame have about not really being able to figure out why people get annoyed with her. This is mostly when she just takes some things far too literally and other things not at all. Not so much random as weirdly selective. Food Jade is often found eating when shes around the village. Usually meat or some kind of sweets. She claims its because her Kikaichu are constantly eating chakra. Clothes Despite her work habits her clothes are frequently dusty like she just got in from the road. This might be due to her time spent in trees or up in the mountains though. BG I will add to this as time and Bg develops. The Aburame clan has always been a wierd one and no one is wierder than the few medical Ninjas who step out of the Aburame clan. Jade is supposed to enter the medical division since her Kikaichu are a little special, See at puberty they go through very different changes as there chakra turns more regular, her Kikaichu turned white and grey instead of the black and brown of the normal strains. This pointed her out to the family as better for support roles. Isnt that every kids dream? To be special from birth? Yeah Jade thought that too for the first few weeks as her mom doted on her and the clan brought gifts and had a party. Then the training started. She was forced to learn how to use her chakra perfectly in every form before she was allowed to graduate with her family convincing her teachers to give her worse grades based on a higher learning curve. Always a great way to make someone think there special skills are alot less fun. On the bright side it did get her to graduate at the top of her class…except in genjutsu. After her graduation she has been spending most of her time working and studying…as far as the clan knows. In reality she also spends alot of times at concerts and playing around. Nothing like being an adult to make someone suddenly alot less responsible. This was until one of her last missions where her team was ambushed by Mist shinobi. Her team had gotten injured pretty badly in trying to escape and she didnt have the skills to heal them like she should. Barely escaping she has now pushed herself right back into her studies and is working to become the next Konoha medical instructor(not that Aburame medical techniques and normal ones mesh…at all). Missions This is to provide people with an idea what kind of missions Jade is good at and why. Assassination: While Jade is capable of these missions and could easily get someone who isnt in a fortified position she isnt the best at it. But if you want to stop a group of bandits or other genin she should be able to manage. Bodyguard: Jade makes a more than capable bodyguard. Who wants to run into a swarm of deadly biting insects? Security Duty: Shes actually not too bad at general security, being able to watch over a large area helps. Burglary: Shes a ninja and thus fairly decent at this, especially since she can scout a whole building without going in. Courier Run: She is about as good at this as most genin are. Its gopher work. Distraction: A giant cloud of biting chakra draining insects? If no one notices its because the bugs ate there eyes already. Destruction: Eh…shes better at dealing with people but she can handle it if she has to. Extraction: Working with a team Jade could handle this pretty well if she had to. mostly for her abilities with overwatch. Investigation: She can gather clues from her bugs pretty fast but the results arent always pertinent. Smuggling Run: She is about as good at this as most genin would be. But they do hang out sometimes. Usually in the training grounds since they are both there alot. Zori - Jade gets along with Zori reasonably well even if she thinks hes kinda…all over the place sometimes. Kaido - She thinks Kaido is funny even if hes been sulky since bandit got disappeared. Ugh…Arguing fish wives, ninja who dont know each other, and having to stay in an abandoned shack until we found the idiot. We actually had to leave out bait for him! Hes lucky they wanted him caught and not dead, I almost let the Kikaichu nest in him. On the bright side we managed to talk the Jounin they sent with us to dinner after the mission…and we empties hid wallet since he spent most of the job napping by the lake. Taught him +When A dog gets two legs Memo to self, Hige has very poor impulse control. You know an Inuzuka by the fact that they get mad about everything. I still blame Kaido though, Seems like his fault that I jumped in on there sparring. Ill think of a good reason why later on. I really should make a memo to apologize to Zori later since he got hurt over it though. Oh and Todays thought for the day-Dont eat at that new Barbeque place on the edge of town, its awful. +Zori..zoooori...Is that a name? So…New guy named Zori. How much candy does this guy eat? Its like he has limitless energy and he just refuses to calm down for a few minutes. Must be why they all know him on a first name basis at the hospital. Next time I'm on a job with him I'm taking a sedative just in case. See this is proof positive though that we need to start like…doping some genin so that they calm down during the day. Kinda like how you make a dog stop barking. Eh hes not all bad though. At the very least hes interesting. +The First dance of medicine. Started my Medical Apprenticeship today, So yeah Mom was happy, you know her whole 10 year plan for me to end up the new Head of the Aburame or something like that. Honestly I think she needs to calm down about it but she never will. For now though they just have me doing scutwork and cleaning bandages while I watch the nurses and such. There was some talk about drug training eventually and poisons but that likely wont be for a while.
