Raised from birth by the members of the Aburame clan, he spent the majority of his young life studying theory of the ninja way. Learning to control his Kikaichu was the only thing that was more important. Never being permitted to leave the Aburame village untill he began lessons at the academy he knows very little of the outside world. When Ketsuki first began in the academy he was on a foraging trip with an elder clan member. Gathering berries they encountered a ninja with extraordinary abilities that allowed him to bend light. Ketsuki was instructed to run and returned to the village. The elder was never seen again nor was the Light bending ninja. While the rest of the clan mourned Ketsuki could not help but be amazed by the idea of this ability. He took an oath then that he would travel the earth in attempt to understand and unlock the secrets of these abilities.

On the outside Ketsuki is about as average of a genin as you would ever find in the world. He has neither outstanding traits nor any flaws and is proud to be well-rounded. While other ninja spent their time in the academy focusing on specific skills and abilities Ketsuki always understood that it is important to be prepared for any situation. Being of the Aburame clan he has had his body turned over to the Kikaichu and hopes one day that he will be able to master the insects just as the elders of his clan had before him.

Ketsuki is a very cautious and analytical person when first meeting a person, and takes great care to monitor body language and other actions inorder to establish their motives. Once getting past his initial paranoia he has a rather friendly demeanor.

Ketsuki has always held the title of Aburame proudly and has always taken the advantage to learn from any elder member of his clan in the highest honour and treasures these lessons as he understands the value of the abilities the Aburame possess and the importance the ability has when it comes to protecting the village hidden in the leaves and all of its occupants.

As a person who wishes to understand the world and all with in it he tend to be very curious and is known to pry for information where most would not. He spends the majority of his time in forests as he enjoys being surrounded by nature and wilderness when he isn’t out on missions or training. He finds that the harmony of nature and the way all things interconnect is symbolic and important in understanding the world and how it works.

He does not like to be physically touched and if asked he would say it made his skin feel like it was crawling.

Appearance

Ketsuki has jaw length silver hair that hangs in strands from underneath a black wool cap. He stands 4’ 5” and has a lean build. His eyes are cloudy grey in color and have a swirling pattern within them if you were to look closely . He always seems to have this dazed expression upon his face as if he were always looking at something behind you instead of directly at you.

He keeps very little of his skin exposed wearing a black deerskin leather outfit complete with gloves and boots. The zipper on the outfit sits centered on his neck and the handle by which you pull it is the Aburame crest. Ketsuki wears his Konoha head band around his left forearm.
