Background

Mokoto grew up in and around Konohagakure. He was prepared to become a shinobi from very early childhood, often being given shinobi tools instead of toys for birthdays. Sadly, his mother went missing on a mission last year, and was reported as killed.

Personality

Mokoto is serious, sometimes dour. He wears a mask and glasses that obscure his facial expression, sometimes making him seem more deadpan than he actually might be. He enjoys calling out the tropes of shinobi-dom, reminding the 'prodigies' of the world that they're not so unique. When some begins to get close to him, they find that he has a sharp wit and sense of humour, and can actually be quite personable.

Appearance

This young, black haired shinobi wears the forehead protector of Konohagakure around his forehead. His skin is pale, almost sickly, although little of it can be seen under the his black trench coat, cloth mask and sunglasses. The shinobi is short at about 4 1/2 feet. He has thick leather gloves covering his hands and finger, and wears the traditional shinobi sandals over over his bandaged legs. Occasionally small insects can be seen crawling into or out of his jacket.

This last year has been hard after mother's death. But finally I've graduated from the Academy and become a real shinobi. Its time to set goals like a real shinobi. First, I need to grow and learn. Secondly I need to gain access to the information about the mission my mother was sent on. Thirdly, I need to confirm what happened to her. Finally, if she's dead, I need to avenge her.

+ Entry #2: Teamwork

These last few weeks of being a Genin have been interesting. I've trained harder than ever before. I've seen people respect me at a new level. I've been out on missions, some of which have been dangerous, and others have been laughably simple. I'm growing. I can feel my chakra increasing with every day. And as I become stronger and smarter, my goal of finding out what happened to my mother draws ever closer.
