Jiro was born to the Amaro clan a few years after the founding of the hidden villages. His parents had both been shinobi during the clan wars but had decided that once the wars ended they wanted to settle down and no longer live the dangerous life of a ninja. Shortly after their decision they had their first child, a boy and Jiro's older brother. Much like his parents his older brother didn't want to be a shinobi and instead had starting going to school in order to learn a different trade. A few years later Jiro was born a middle child as only a year after his birth his little sister was born and was the last of the brood. When he was three years old he and his brother got in a fight. His parents had kept some of their old shinobi tools hidden away but his brother had found them and in a fit of rage attacked Jiro with a kunai, leaving him with a few scars on his torso as well as the more visible one on his cheek. His brother was punished severely after Jiro had been to the hospital and treated, and from that time on his brother didn't ever want to fight again.
When his older brother had said he didn't want to be a shinobi, Jiro had stated that he did much to his parent's surprise and dismay after the incident with his older brother. But even despite their concerns they told him that when he was old enough they would send him to the shinobi academy if he still wanted to follow that route. When he turned eight and showed no sign of changing what he wanted to do his parents enrolled him in the academy. As a gift for his first day they gave him the sash he now wears. It's made of the special chakra cloth unique to their clans ability but have not told him about what it is yet, only that it is very special.

Jiro is a young boy of around eight years of age. The boy is only around four feet tall, about normal for his age, and he still has some baby fat left on him even if he's not a chunky kid. Fire red hair sticks up from his head, some parts spiking up and out while the front part tends to fall in front of his deep blue eyes. Along his right cheek a scar runs from his chin to just below his eye, something from when he was even younger that never disappeared. The thin line is lighter than the rest of his skin making it more visible than it should be.
The boy can generally be seen wearing clothing that is near the same deep blue color as his eyes. His shirt is the sleeveless type, plain with no logos or emblems on it at all. Similar colored pants are worn and his feet are adorned with simple shoes. Around his waist is tied a long sash the same fire red color as his hair.

Rikuto	Weird Friend?	At first I didn't really like Rikuto but he's gotten kind of nicer since I started to know him. He also has been teaching me about genjutsu and how to get out of it. It's scary but I'm glad he's helping.
Keiji	Scary	Keiji almost killed me by pulling me into the ground! It was scary, and then on top of that he turned into a giant scorpion! He did teach me how to escape and stuff, and now he offered to help if I need stuff. But first he asked a bunch of questions I didn't like. And he's still scary.
Kenta	Konoha Food Man	Kenta is a Konoha-nin I met while we were there asking about the Silence. He thought I was some Konoha street kid but when he found out I wasn't he bought me food! 'Course I didn't tell him I was just a Suna street kid…But anyways I kind of tricked him into buying me more later! I hope I can go back again and get more! It was good ramen. Oh! And he just leaves his bags in the open for any ol' thief to take stuff. I was good though. This time.
