The rare clan members of the 'Akuu', mostly in hiding, had scattered to all points of the world. To all of the various countries, some of them trying to lead a normal life away from being a shinobi. For parents of Goh, this is exactly what they had in mind. To avoid all the violence and make their existence as peaceful, travelling performers. Their main attraction was to perform tricks with their third eye; The Daisanseiryoku. Along the way, a few years into it, they brought a son into the world. He was like any member of the Akuu clan, and, thankfully, was not born with his daisanseiryoku open. He was named only Goh, for fear that someone may recognise his family name and try to bring him down.
Growing up in a somewhat lazy and carefree mood, Goh appeared to take the life of a humble fisherboy. Crafting a fishing rod of his very own when only three years old, the small boy could often be seen in the shallows, trying to catch small fish with his newly loved food—pickled vegetables. However, it wasn't very long after this before his parents were recognised during their performances.
Shinobi had recognised the third eye upon seeing it - something Goh's parents hadn't counted on for the fact that knowledge of the eye was limited to only a few select people outside the Smoke village. After the performance, his parents were approached by three shadows, and, before they had a chance to ready any jutsu or their daisanseiryoku, they were killed. One of the shinobi went after Goh, who himself was at the fishing pond at the time. Goh, whom himself hadn't learnt any ninja techniques at all, feebly defended himself with his fishing rod, and, an
instant before he thought he was about to die -his daisanseiryoku opened, taking control of a nearby rock to hurtle it against his enemy-stunning him.
For all intensive purposes, Goh should have been chased as he fled, but the three hunter shinobi opted to leave him be, counting him as a kid and therefore likely to not get as much profit as the two adults.
So Goh ran with his fishing rod, his daisanseiryoku eye still wide open, pulsating with life. However, unknown to him, the trait was draining his chakra. Eventually, the sheer strain of this eye open caused him to collpase in a heap, fainting from the exhaustion of everything combined.
Not long after, perhaps half a day later, a wandering shinobi group, on their way back from scouting some war-torn territory, discovered the small child collapsed on his back. His long blonde hair had fallen over his forehead and his eye, protecting his identity for now. Perhaps not even four or so years old, the team opted to take the boy back to their township.
Getting back for an examination, it was discovered that Goh, the small child whom was found by himself in the forest, had lost his memory about his entire life. Perhaps it was the extreme trauma, or the fact that his daisanseiryoku had drained so much of his stamina. He only knew his name-and the fact that he greatly enjoyed pickled vegetables and fishing. Hence the fishing rod he still had with him.
The leader of the township, recognising the daisanseiryoku upon inspection, opted to bring Goh up as a shinobi. The township, which itself had suffered its own losses due to the ninja war, were in desperate need of some force. Since he had no memories of his past life, and had an eye open on his head that needed to be controlled, it was a worthwhile choice. However, his identity was always kept a secret from those around him, and Goh was instructed to always keep his hair long enough to cover not only his forehead, but his eyes too. Only the town leader knew of his true heritage, and that's the way it stayed.
So Goh grew up as a ninja, falling under the tutelage of more senior shinobi. He showed promise, and although he never opened his daisanseiryoku eye when others were around, he did make an effort to harness some of its ability in private, so that if he ever needed it he could use it. This ability built up his chakra reserves slightly faster than normal. Additionally, Goh often worked on his speed and dexterity to help compliment his eye. As such, he ended up to be quicker than the average youngster, both regarding dexterity and baseline speed. If it wasn't for his somewhat lazy attitude and willingness to do fishing more than anything, he would have likely ascended much quicker than he did. He wasn't without his flaws though. Displaying almost no aptitude in genjutsu, the blonde often relied on his fiery physical attacks rather than fancy illusions.
During the year he turned eleven, his attitude remained largely the same. However, due to the need for more shinobi and more strength, Goh was promoted to full field action. He was now an apprentice, working missions that helped out the people. And so his life as a shinobi began.
Over the years that passed, Goh's natural ability to defend and fight became noticably more apparent. For although he rarely trained at all (seemingly), his strength grew substantially. In particular, he relied on the physicalities of ninjutsu. Not really having been taught in genjutsu at all, Goh was found to be quick, strong, and good with ninjutsu. Whilst he showed no aptitude for illusions, he made up for it in the other two areas. He was eventually granted leadership positions on missions, despite the fact that he didn't want them nor felt he was worthy of them. Yet he always accepted them — knowing that his home needed him in a time of need.
With the foundation of Konohagakure, it was Goh's idea to lead his little group of citizens and shinobi to join their ranks. With the protection of other like minded ninja, it would offer better security for them as a whole. And so they made the move to Konoha, crossing mountains and rivers to do it. They lost a few members along the way, but after months of travelling, they entered the gates.
Most of the township disbanded at this point, going their seperate ways to take on civillian life now that there were fewer worries. Goh himself joinded the Konoha shinobi, recruited before he was even aware that there was any serious interest in him. His fire styles were truly something to behold, and to help his lack of genjutsu ability, Goh was taught the 'Kai' technique. Just in case he was ever trapped in one. This was particulary difficult, but eventually he managed to get it. Furthermore, since he lacked the formal training that most had, he also continued to find it difficult to mould chakra the way he liked it — leading to erratic chakra behaviour. Brought on as a Chuunin, Goh showed himself quite capable over the next few years, even going public with his mysterious third eye.
After a particulary dangerous mission, which also resulted in the youth gaining the Salamander Summoning Contract, Goh was promoted to Jounin and chief advisor of the Akuu whereabouts and abilities in his late teens. Despite all of this responsibility, one can still find him lazing about at the fishing hole, or just eating his pickled vegetables. For that's all he's ever really liked! And likely, will only be what he likes in the future.
After being hunted by Akuu Bounty Hunters whilst out on a mission with a team of young Genin, Goh opted to leave Konoha, searching the world for fellow Akuu clan members. Oh, and of course, selling his wares on the side!
