Many Clan Heads are legends, masters of their clan's abilities or, have a direct lineage. These are things that do not back Miu. She was among the Elder council, they felt none of Akomura's children were entirely up for the tasks. Instead, Miu has been elected instead.

Miu personality is odd within the Main Family bunch. What is known she /used/ to be rather talented at Juuken though the woman has been avoiding exercise and combat. What she's currently capable of is either non-existent or, kept close to her chest.

Miu, was like many other Hyuuga within the Main Family. From the attitude to the ability as the Main family's higher standard of living brought her up. She had no issue with how the world or the clan functioned, instead more or less lived under the idea that her clan duties were her life and nothing more.

It wasn't until a few years after her first child and settled down, that she began to show a true personality. Sadly no one other than a few Clan Elders know much about her during the Clan Wars and no one really shares anything, the general consensus being that Miu was nothing extraordinary and did nothing interesting then. Even now, her promotion from Clan Elder to Head seems more or less due to her being better at holding a conversation with non Hyuuga than the rest of the Hyuuga, while being just as wise as the rest.

Personality

As a war vet, she has seen a lot but, instead of being haunted by it all she has managed to take it to a point where many things do not phase her, whether it be a gruesome image or a grand show of power. She can usually take the time to judge it and calmly approach the situation like many Hyuuga Elders. The "peaceful" lifestyle Konohagakure has found itself in most of the time has allowed her to slow down and almost act appropriate of her age, finding most of her time relaxing safely with the protection of the Branch, she has not seen combat since the formation of Konoha. She is generally patient with slow workers and the like, even able to forgive an enemy or those who have been a negative factor in her life if they have truly changed.

Being "old" the clan elder feels as though she's seen it all and tends to get more wrapped up in interesting or odd things, she would enjoy conversation with someone that has a mental illness than some sort of genius that likes to state boring facts. Of course, a genius with some estranged theory can just as easily keep her attention. This has led her to live a life of enjoying watching how others' lives pan out while doing her best to stay out of life decisions of others, mentally betting on what they'll do next or, how they'll live their life.

While she is patient and forgiving, that doesn't necessarily mean she's a nice person all around she tends to be honest and honesty can quite often come off as brutal, she says it how it is. This leads to another negative trait of hers, when she's right, she's right. Disagreeing with her can put you on the naughty list and some of those who disagree with her, tend to disappear, this obviously has nothing to do with Miu's thoughts on them though!

All three of these C's can easily describe Miu, possibly even more C's! Though these three easily ooze out of the woman. The former Hyuuga Elder was always the odd one out of the stoic Elderly bunch.

No doubt, another one of the Main Family, that portion of the family seeming to only accept the most regal of men and beautiful of women. Miu is not an exception, age barely seeming to have an effect on her and wherever it did, it is carefully covered up in make-up or, careful placement of her gradually lightening hair, the only portion of her age that she does not bother to hide.

The entirety of this woman's facial features are designed to appear petite and feminine. Eyebrows trimmed short and thin coupled with her steel gray eyes(A definite oddity within her clan), giving her a naturally fierce appearance while the large, long lashed, almond-shape of her eyes deter from the intimidation aspect, creating the image of an intelligent self-sufficient woman. While her eyes give her quite a bit of character, there is of course the rest of the typical human attachments to her somewhat rounded head.
A small, rounded button of a nose rests just above tiny, yet full, pink lips, generally masked in some sort of light gloss. Usually tucked behind her hair would be her larger than normal ears, something she does not display quite often if anyone were to notice they might pick up on the minute dent in her confidence.

The rest of her body tends to be shrouded in mystery, her true physical ability not easily seen at first glance. If they traditional loose hanging Hyuuga robes are not worn, there is some other sort of loose clothing worn. Though little physical hints, from her slim neck to her thin wrists, show that she is quite petite. While she is overall slim one thing does set her somewhat off balance and tends to be more of a hook for the opposite and sometimes the same sex, through the style of the clan it is generally hard to keep her large bust out of noticeable view or, well she does not truly try a small beauty mark resting on the inner part of her right breast.
