Young Chuunin Medic-Nin. Registered as a ninja of Konohagakure after trekking all the way from her non-shinobi homeland to seek the ability and knowledge to help her friends and family. She is a healer, with an interest in human augmentation.

Background

Ju-su Momo is a young girl from the Land of Honey whose interest in learning medicine to help with some problems back home that could not be resolved by the means available there led her on a long journey all the way to the Land of Fire, and then to Konoha. Her skill as a ninja developed over the course of her travels, receiving training from a more accomplished Medic-Nin for a while a few years ago — a woman by the name of "Kishi Mune" (though she uses Yotsuki instead of Kishi these days). Momo's instruction was not very lengthy, but it gave her a sufficient understanding of Medical Ninjutsu, healing, and so on. Medical notes from Mune to serve as a sort of "primer" were alsp provided, with an emphasis on medicine, healing, and anatomical study.

Momo has been improving her skills through practice and study since then. She is not very good at fighting, but she never really intended to be. Momo strongly wants to learn all that she can about human bodies and how to enhance or alter them to make up for their many failings. This is her main motivation — so that she can return to her country someday to help her friends and family. She is registered as a ninja of Konohagakure, as the Land of Honey is a non-shinobi nation and Momo was never really "loyal" to any government back there beyond the tribal communities she dwelt in and interacted with. She willingly serves the Hidden Leaf, even if it calls upon her to do battle.

She was already Chuunin-level when she registered and there was no promotion that occurred due to her skills predating her registration.

+ Reveal: Diminished Genjutsu 

Momo is not very good at Genjutsu. It's not just that she doesn't use it, nor does she lack an understanding of Genjutsu. She has trouble spotting it when it is used or throwing it off when she is afflicted with it. She doesn't know. It's frustrating and that resentment and frustration about Genjutsu just makes it even harder to focus on dealing with it.

+ Reveal: Diminished Power

Momo is a Chuunin, but she is a very young one and her long journey from the Land of Honey to the Land of Fire had an impact on her muscular development. She sometimes had to go without food, or she pushed herself beyond what she had to, and this combination of poor treatment of her body and malnutrition has hindered her ability to exert herself properly. She learned her mistake and how to take care of herself since then, but she's still suffering the after-effects.

+ Reveal: E-Rank Jutsu

Momo picked up various skills during her travels by necessity. One of these was to conceal herself, or to appear to be older than she was to be able to gain access to things she normally wouldn't, and so on, with the transformation technique.

+ Reveal: D-Rank Jutsu

Momo is a natural at medicine, but it was adversity and necessity that forced her to develop her skills so quickly at such a young age. It wasn't "being a prodigy" that motivated her to learn how to cure poisons. It was being violently ill from being forced to eat garbage to survive.

+ Reveal: C-Rank Jutsu

Once Momo started gaining a more solid understanding of what she was doing and improving her health enough to travel, she learned how to knead Chakra into muscles through her hands, helping to relieve pain and aid the healing process through a sort of Ninjutsu-enhanced massage. It helped on that long journey to be able to get rid of some of the pain in her legs and feet.

+ Reveal: Starting Style

After arriving at Konohagakure, having time to recover, to be registered as a ninja, and receive further instruction from more experienced medics, Momo determined she needed a way to store her medical supplies and equipment that was more efficient than just hauling it in a backpack. As the medical pouches invented by Tsunade don't exactly exist yet, she looked into Fuuinjutsu as a means of transporting large amounts of equipment without being weighed down. She eventually gained sufficient understanding of Seal techniques to be capable of using Scroll storage.

Appearance

Momo is a young girl with brown skin, and short white hair. Bright blue eyes lay beneath thick black eyelashes. Momo is lacking much in the way of physical devlopment, though she is healthy enough for her age. For some reason that will forever remain a mystery, she tends to wears a maid outfit when walking around on non-ninja business. …And sometimes even on ninja business.
