A life of war. A childhood stolen by chaos. Blood curtling screams serving as sweet lullabies. The world as he knew it. Kibushi was born in the middle of a battle field, quite literally, as his parents were proud Kaguya and not even the promise of new life was enough to deter them from facing death in the eye and laughing at it. Though the females at this time were protected, they were still near the battle field or in it depending on just how much bloodlust they truly had. A battle field born Kaguya was considred a true blessing in the loose faith of their people. To survive brith in a craddle of death represented the absolute warrior nature of the clan. Kibusih was one of a very few who was born this way, and his parents survived this battle to boot. During his early years, as he learned new skills such as speech, walking, and memory of any kind, he was constantly "tested" by being shonw how to do it until he understood, and then being made to do it over and over without assistance. He would learn through his scrapes, his scars, and tears. At the age of five, he was ready to take a kunai in hand and kill. Mostly, this was for hunting purposes, but when ever a battle would arise, he was called to serve near the front. The second test of Kaguya youth, though all went through this ,was the hardening in battle. There was no greater lesson, and tihs was one reason why the clan was so small compared to most. Their young died young. They had very very few old and not too many middle aged due to these ways. But Kibushi was a born and bred survivor.
When ever he would get seperated from his battle group, he would have learned to live off of the land, some times for weeks before being discovered again. His parents would have died in a seige during one of these occassions, and he didn't even blink an eye. He knew of death very well, and while he respected and cared for them, he knew they were likely to die some day. As long as they died like Kaguya, he would not be ashamed or saddened. When ever he fought against superior forces, he tended to use his wits, much like in survival, to cause those forces to break, get confused, or to retreat with his force. Even Kaguya retreat when victory can be had in the near future. They were not aimless battlers that died for no reason in most situations, they were warriors and survivalist. They fought and lived hard every day of their lives just to see how far they could go in that life style. To Kibusih, Shikotsumyaku was extremely rare. Most never lived long enough, or simply never had the situations that caused for them to reach their Kekkei Genkai. It was not simply a goal to achieve.. it was literally part of your very soul and body. It was destiny. In this way, the Kaguya tend not to compete for who will get this ability, so much as they push each other beyond the brink to see what happens regardless. All Kaguya are warriors, none are to be weak.
As he grew up, he saw fewer and fewer of the people he knew, the war raged on, but he continued forward, not thinking of how victory will change the land, but how victory will keep him and those he was now in charge of alive. Still, during his late teens he began to ntoice far less Kaguya as well as far less battle. It made no sense. Where did they all go? Did disease take them? The unknown truth was simply that the disorganization of the kaguya left them without much of an intelligence net. SO when things shifted, qutie a few would be left entirely unaware. Collaborative Shinobi villages and "peace" had already taken hold, while some of the Kaguya were still crawling around i nthe muck looking for targets to destroy, enemies to fight, and ways to keep surviving. Kibushi was amongst them, though he was almost the only one to notice that there was no war happening and something had shifted. So, he left the group he was in, who called him a coward and worthless for leaving the front lines of battle. He ignored their ignorance in order to find truth. It didn't take him long to see civilization. There were people trainnig children in safe homes and buildings, not rustic hunter/gatherer style temporary shelters.
Ninjutsu was something he faced often, but was never truly taught. This was actually abnormal, but it was due to the fact that he had what was called "Volatile Chakra" and there was simply no one who had the time nor skill to sit and train him to control it. The chakra was extremely chaotic and could damage both himself as well as his opponent with his lack of control, so he had never truly learned mcuh more than the basics. He did learn tree and water walking, but it took him much time and effort. Anything beyond that at this point would be very hard for him. Genjutsu however was a very large weakness of his. Not only had he no practice with it at all, due to his rather singular, combat focused experiences, he simply didn't have the flexability of imagination to truly comprehend how to manipulate others with illusions. He makes up for all of this with his sheer combative prowess however. Even as a 16 year old field Chuunin, he is capable of raw physical ability that is easily Jounin level. His lack of formal training leaves all of this latent talent unrefined however, but he seems quite promising. As he moves to see what lies in this new world, he is very wary of it as it is entirely unfamiliar to him.
