Background
Born September, 6 A.F. in the heart of Kirigakure, she is the daughter of Kaguya Keisuke and Yuuka, granddaughter of Kaguya Odori Takeshi. With both of her parents having been experimented upon as children, their own unique genetic strand has been passed on to Yuriko as well. She's demonstrated Shikotsumyaku Telepathy before she was born, connected to her mother with a mental link even while in the womb. After she was born she still keeps that constant link with Yuuka, though as an infant hasn't demonstrated any other abilities connected with Shikot Telepathy.
Twelve months into her life her father Kaguya Keisuke was killed in battle, leaving the babe fatherless. However, despite such a tragedy Yuriko has proven to be a very happy and very bubbly in nature. Its that bubbly personality that has allowed her to make quick friends with nearly everyone she's met. And when not amused, she's often curious and exploring her boundaries when first learning to walk on unstable legs.
Within a few years she grew quickly, still very much friendly, warm and curious as she was when she was a baby. Though now as child she has more freedom to explore, given chores and responsibilities from her mother while demonstrating she is just as loving as her mother has proven to be. Her favorite thing to do is to climb trees, or any other active activity, often exploring curious corners of the village and even sneaking out of the village when her mother isn't looking. That isn't to say that the closest thing she has to a father, Kaguya Yoma, hadn't been known to keep track of the girl as well. And while Yuriko has been given a Epigaea Dagger, she hadn't quite mastered how to use it at the age of four.
Personality
I suppose that's a good question. I've been asked that before, but it's changed from time to time.
Just like any girl my age, I'm playful, I'm serious, I'm dedicated and loyal. Mostly I would describe myself as observant.
Always observant…
Appearance
Before you is a young woman with pure white hair. Loose waves of curls cascading over her shoulders, and long wavy bangs parted to one side with a gentle wisp over part of her forehead. Drawing the eye two the twin red marks of her clan just above her delicate brow. A tiny nose is the center of her young face, separating wide, bright aquamarine eyes lined on the outside with crimson often watch events with open curiosity or sparkle with a hidden mirth. The curvature of her chin leading to a small neck.
Her shoulders lead downwards to the hem of a snow white kimono that appears to be a size too big, just barely noticeable as the long, silvery sleeves completely envelope her arms and every once in a great while tiny fingers are visible under the hem.
The slender frame curves naturally beneath the kimono folded in the front, a pale blue obi sash wrapping around her waist. The skirt covers her legs, but more often than not she's barefoot. Or in the very least wearing sandals on her delicate feet.

Keisuke |
Father |
My first dad. I don't really remember what he looks like, but I do sorta remember what he feels like. Mom shares with me feelings she's felt from him sometimes too, but after it just makes her sad, so I try not to ask anymore now. |
Takeshi |
Grandfather |
I had the most fun with Grandpa. But he's gone now… |
Tsiro |
Distant Cousin |
Big brother cousin. He's always been here and takes care of me sometimes too. Though more often than not he's busy with missions and stuff. |
Yoma |
Father Figure |
He might have not been my first dad, but he was the only one that I knew.
It wasn't long enough… |

Notes |
Meruin |
Teacher |
Meruin-sensei might not be a Kaguya, but he's been family and a big brother for as long as I can remember. Being Mizukage though, he's really busy. I rarely see him anymore… |
Kiyoshi |
First True Friend |
I've known Kiyoshi for a couple of years now… And the aging seal as changed him. It's changed all of us. Sometimes I try to avoid him because it'll just be better if he acted like a grownup, but it's hard… |
Sei |
Friend |
Sei removed his aging seal as well, and grew up like Kiyoshi had. But I rarely see him… |
Hissori |
Friend |
He was really quiet when I first met him. And he still is. I wonder if that's unusual. |
Feari |
Team Leader |
Not sure what to make of Feari-sensei quite yet. When he first approached us about a team, Naoya-kun and Hayase-chan were skeptical about his intentions, though I wanted to give him a chance. Still do. |
Hayase |
Teammate and Friend |
I think a part of Hayase wants to distance herself from myself and Naoya-kun because she doesn't want to get hurt. And I think I understand that. Though I'm glad she decided to be our friend in the end. |
Naoya |
Teammate and Friend |
Complex.
I know Okumo well enough, but Naoya-kun tends to set himself apart. Either naturally or on purpose I can't tell, but his temper is quick if he's compared to others in his clan. And where he can be seen as boastful… I'm not so sure. He has promise… |

The Silence attacked the Daimyo the other day. It was a pretty big battle, the Daimyo was captured, and the people there… they're homeless. Kirigakure has set up tents at Mist Lake so that everyone has shelter. Vut the village feels a bit crowded now. The refugees are everywhere, and the grownups are worried about running out of food for them.
I met up with Naoya-kun today. He has more wounds to show off than I do of course, but I still like looking at them. It's proof that he went up against something or someone bigger and still lived. Still thrives. He's lucky that he can gets scars like that. I have to work really hard for mine, if I ever wanted them I mean.
Somehow we got onto the topic of what our goals are, what we want to be, and I was kinda hesitant to say at first. And somehow… it kinda turned into a story. A storybook story where the Bone Princess fought all sorts of monsters, and she grew so powerful that she became lonely. And eventually Naoya-kun joined in and added to the story too.
It felt weird… Do things like that normally happen?
Naoya-kun and I went into the Blood Marsh today. I think because he wanted to get some training in, but I still showed him where the cabin is so that if he wanted, he can borrow it when I'm not around. I rather he be there rather than shelter up in some hole in the middle of the swamp anyway. You don't want to be caught with your guard down in a place like that.
Anyways. At one point we cam across a giant snake, and I gave him a few pointers on how to kill it, but after that it was all Naoya. He did good. He cut off some snake meat to save for later, and then I showed him where the cabin was in the marshes.
Overall, it was a pretty good day I think.
The day at the lake today was supposed to be fun, but all day my head's just been full. And confused. I think I concerned Taree-san and Hayase-chan though… and I feel bad about that. But how am I suppose say anything with him just a few feet away?
Everything is just so confusing in my head. Why can't I focus? Why does it have to be a boy that makes me so annoyed. So frustrated…
I wonder allot… if because of the aging seal that I feel things so strongly.
Today was a pretty simple mission. Bandits have been causing Kirigakure more problems than they usually have recently, so I was on a team with Naoya-kun that went to an encampment to take care of the problem. It went pretty well I guess. Lots of blood. Though the leader of the team, Feari-san, he's a Seven Swordsman like my mom. Though he acts a little weird.
Feari-san didn't really fight or anything. Most he did was use this ninjutsu to spread this mist through the bandit camp and left the rest of it to us. That was already weird, but I kinda felt like he was watching me the whole time.
Maybe it's because I'm a daughter of a Swordsman. I don't know. It was just weird…
Do you think I should talk to Naoya-kun about this, diary?
I think by now I'm pretty much used to notes being attached to my window. Webby. Though I guess this time it's a little different because instead of saying he'll be at one place and 'requesting' me there, Naoya was just outside.
I guess it was a little weird for me, since my hair was still wet from the bath. Well whatever…
He asked me outside because he wanted my help looking for a special type of poisonous spiders in order to breed them into into his brood. Normally they live in the farmlands of the Land of Water, and it would be only kinda difficult to find them.
His brood is important, he wouldn't the future of his brood to just anyone. And the only people Naoya really trust is me and Hayase, and she wasn't the one that he asked. So could that mean… that what Hayase-chan said was true? That he really does treat me differently?
Yet another sticky note attached to my window. I really shouldn't be surprised.
I'm quickly getting annoyed by the fact that he thinks he can summon me whenever he feels like it. As if I don't have training or missions and I'm always waiting for his beckon call. Then he has the nerve to smirk at me.
Baka.
Well whatever. Naoya just wanted Hayase and me to help gathering plants. I think he wants to plant them near where he lives so that he can experiment more with poisons or tonics or something. The usual Okumo thing I guess.
I don't know much about plants, very very little actually, and I quickly got frustrated when I wasn't being useful. It was obvious that Hayase was. And somehow she got herself invited to visit Naoya's burrow.
I hate feeling like the third wheel.
I've been practicing Bone Maiden allot recently. Or at least, trying to get it down pat. I think I got the basics down, but if I go up against multiple targets I wouldn't be able to use it too many times.
While I was trying to perfect the jutsu, Naoya stumbled in on my practice. Since I was in the Oasis I only half expected it might happen, but I also think that it was likely that he looked for me too. Probably to gather intel on me.
Somehow the conversation turned and he ended up holding my hand…
For the life of me I can't figure out how that happened…
It had been awhile since I hung out with Hayase and Naoya, without some sort of training involved I mean. So I invited them out to the ramen shop at the end of the market. I would have been there on time, though somehow… I kinda was interrupted. Some Kaguya boys called out to me and they caught me off guard. There's a couple of years older and I didn't want to seem rude, so I chatted with them a bit.
About a week or so ago there was a Graduation Exam for three students, and one of them was Kaguya Nai. I think I remembered his face from that time. Anyway, he was awkward and grinning, trying to show off a little and his buddies were pretty much encouraging him the entire time. And before they left, Nai gave me a candied apple.
He might be confident with himself right now, since he just graduated and he's officially a Genin, but so far I don't see much. Just a puppy.
I'll have to write more on this later, diary, I'm getting sleepy…

Thoughts on the Land of Water's Clans
Kaguya
Kaguya are best compared to a wolf pack. We are bloodthirsty, yes, but most do not realize that the way we think, the way we understand is much like that of wolves. We understand power, dominance, and those with both are the ones that are important.
Touketsu
Touketsu? I don't think I've heard of that before. They're a clan? I wonder what it would be like to play with them.
Shirayuki
I don't think I've met any of them before. Do they make ice cream?
Okumo
Meruin-sensei, Sei-kun, Taree-san, Naoya-kun… I know so many from this clan that I'm starting to wonder just where they're popping up from.
