Background

Toshio's story is not that far from many others, he was born in the land of lightning though he was brought to the village of the hidden leaf. His grandfather and mother both hail from the land of lightning as blacksmiths and weaponsmiths but felt the boy needed to be raised in the homeland of his father, who died during the many wars which happened before the founding of the village.

The truth is not much different but still very surprising. Uchiha Tousin was injured in the land of lightning and was nursed back to health by Aoiri and her father, Saijin. As time progressed Tousin fell in love with Aoiri and she fell in love with him. Tousin promised Aoiri, a life in the land of fire as part of the clan. On the way back, Tousin was killed by a Senju Ambush. Learning she was with child, she convinced Saijin to go with her to the land of fire and help her raise her son in his homeland. When Toshio was born, Aoiri wanted to tell the Uchiha clan that this was Tousin's son, but she was afraid that the clan would take her only son away from her. And since he had his mother's hair and eyes, she believed that they would never learn who his father was. As time progressed and Toshio began to show fire affinity, she prepared herself and Saijin for the possibility that someday, Toshio would unlock other abilities he inherited from his father. Till then, the boy would remain ignorant to his heritage.

Personality

The first thing that is noted about Toshio's personality is his impulsive nature. When things happen, he acts, not thinks. This may at times make him appear to be rather careless or foolish, but when he isnt impulsively running off to do things, people will notice more of the genin's personality. Toshio cares about the people about him, and tries to be friendly regardless of the person. He is also a hard worker, never refusing to give in when the going gets tough, which reveals his next trait in his personality: Stubbornness. Once his mind is set to something, it takes an act of god to change it.

Appearance

This young boy is about twelve years old in appearance, possessing golden blonde hair with an inability to keep it straight. He possesses Aquamarine-blue eyes and fair skin. He is fairly athletic, though his hands are rough, showing signs of hard work growing up.

He wears a blue button up t'shirt open with a chainmail like shirt under it which stop at his elbows and an green armband on his right arm. He wears what appears to be Cargo pants with the Shuriken pouch along his back hip. On his right leg is a Kunai Holster and on his forehead is a blue clothed forehead protector with the symbol of Konoha on the metal plate. On his feet was blue combat shoe like sandals with the toes revealed.

I was given this journal to try and keep track of things….okay lets try it. I made a few friends, and learned more technbiques. Grandfather and mother say if I try hard enough I can do anything. It just gets harder everyday.

Kept telling people that I am not good with the filling a journal out. Keep getting distracted. Made me some new shuriken and kunai that seemed to be better then the last batch. My sensei, Usagi, has been busy but I hope she is well.

Had to deliver a weapon shipment to a bunch of grandpa's old customers overseas. The bad news was they had settled into the village hidden in the mist and so had to get alot of permission and be intimidated the entire time. Still, met a new friend there named Yuriko. I like her, I hope to keep in touch with her.

Today Sayuri-chan turns 16 and moves into a place of her own. I took her out to Ramen the day before and will help her move into the place. Cupcakes shall be mine!

Today I finally found my journal again. Maybe I ought to carry this thing with me instead of leave it in my room. Made some friends a few days back, an inuzuka. He makes me push myself, and he is a genin. He seems like a good sort, his dog is awesome.

Today I managed to recover from a tough mission rescuing children. The jounin and chuunin all seem so powerful and skilled and no matter how hard I train it doesnt seem to do anything. A guy I am best friends with made Chuunin recently…I guess I should congratulate him. I need to attain more power or else I will just bring everyone down.

Today I managed to make a wooden flute for a friend of mine named Shinobu. I been tinkering on an arm band which holds a spring loaded blade and can extend it and retract it with a flick of a wrist and specific movement of fingers. I have several more designs to work on: A folding retracting sword, launcher mechanism for the hidden blade, balls which explodes in a flash of light and noise to disorient enemies (damn triggers keep triggering when I am over them.) As well as finding a way to make ninja outfit somewhat more protective without being too restrictive in movement. Someone's design used special leathers and oils so I may look into that.
