Welcome to the Character Template for the Naruto Mush Rivalry Wiki! All you have to do to get started is fill out the information by editting this page. If you started it from the Character Profiles page you should already be in the edit window. If you are not, you can scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Edit" to begin editting. Character page naming is to be done in the following format: <Last Name> <First Name> (IE: Tenjin Hibari). If your character's name is only a single word, then you may use a single word. Background

Nagai's clan was initially feral wanderers. They served no village or master and only cared about finding the next warm meal or a temporary safe place to stay before moving on. Nagai was born to two loving and caring individuals. His mother was Maneshi Nagano and his father was a wondering ninja with no allegiance to anyone, Juro Sada. He was a very powerful ninja in his own right and took it upon himself to protect this wondering clan in their travels. He soon fell in love with Nagano and had a daughter. Then year later a son, Nagai. He was the runt of the litter, smaller than all the other children born during that year. The birth was difficult and he was very weak, they didn't expect him to survive his first night. In the morning they found that one of Nagano's cats, pregnant with her own litter, curled up next to the young sleeping Nagai. Amazingly, Nagai was stronger now and able to survive. They are still not sure how, but they suspect the Higureneko cat gave some of her chakra to Nagai to survive. She gave birth a few days later and one of her kittens, a female named Nami, had bonded with Nagai, becoming his partner. The two grew up together and by age two the clan had settled within the land of fire, eventually joining the new hidden leaf village. Once old enough, Nami and Nagai begain training under the instruction of both of his parents. One teaching clan techniques of the Maneshi and the other teaching basic shinobi tool use. He wasn't the best student and always wanted to run off with Nami to explore the ever growing village. It was said that Nagai still retained some of the feral nature of the maneshi from before they settled down. No one could argue with that, Nagai was hard to control and instruct during this time. But eventually he learned enough that he could attend the new ninja academy being started a few years after the village founding. His experience there wasn't any better. His grades were passing but mediocre and he always had to defend himself from inuzuka who wanted to fight him. So he was always on the defensive. One day though, Nagai had enough so in the middle of class when an instructor was yelling at him for doing something poorly, both Nagai and Nami left the classroom and ran off to the fringes of Konohagakure. They decided they had enough of both home and school and tried to live on their own, finding a hiding spot that wasn't found for several months. They would come out at night only to look for food and to have fun. But it wasn't to last though as a team of maneshi tracked them back to their hiding spot and caught them. So it was back to the academy and remedial classes so he could catch up with everyone else. As most students do, Nagai passed his final tests and became a genin, but only after flunking it once by not wanting to try. Over the next year, Nagai and Nami do average work as genin but they've never gotten themselves into anything too dangerous. Until now…

Personality

Appearance

This is a shinobi from Konohagakure that looks to be in his early teens. He's got a mischievous look that could mean he's looking for trouble or is anxious that trouble always finds him. At first, he looks like someone from the uchiha clan with shaggy black hair that hangs down past the ears and is thick. But the bright blue eyes and black kumadori lines that run from the eyes down and across the cheek bones denote another clan. A four set of erring hoops are attached to his left ear, two rings at the top of the ear and two attached to the bottom. They are a symbol of his clan, denoting a genin from his clan. A rarity in konohagakure these days, this shinobi is from the maneshi clan. Nagai has on a loose black and blue jacket over a mesh shirt. It has clips on the wide collar to close the jacket should it get cold, but usually it's open. A large hip pouch as well as a smaller belt pouch carries all the gear he'll need. Farther down is a pair of brown hakama and black boots that round out his choice of clothing.

Usually by his side is his partner Nami who usually rides on his shoulders or nearby. A black cat of some renown if you ever ask her. She is a black cat with a ring of white at the tip of her tail next to a circle of white fur farther down. Nami has on a konohagakure forehead guard and wrap on her head, small enough to fit her but still sags down once in a while.

+ Show 06/17/12 A.F - Entry #01: Kidnappers on the first mission

So here we are, the first real mission in team 10. It's not something I'm going to enjoy and neither is Nami. It's a relief that no one has mentioned that I could take the front of the line in the attack on the kidnappers base. I should start at the beginning though. Kidnappers have been taking children from various areas around the land of fire and other nations as well. I'm not sure what their idea is, but it couldn't be good. Right now, instead of rushing into the compound, Atsuro-sensei is taking the lead and most of the inuzkua to boot. Tsukino and Izara, both who I don't really know, are staying behind the main group and giving them support. If any kids come out and need medical attention, we're to help them. I just hope that there isn't anyone else around to cause trouble.
