Background

Raion was always skilled at the ninja arts, however he has never felt strongly about his village, nor any village. He always avoided going into the Ninja Academy but trained himself in ninja arts. He figured out a few basic Taijutsu and Ninjutsu techniques completely on his own. He also managed to, through talking to students at the academy, learn everything required to be a Genin, if he had gone to the academy. He ended up befriending Pansa when he was only 5, actually convincing the cat to sneak out on its own. Well before, and what probably sparked, his training to be the skill level of a Genin. He met the young Atoneko cat in the middle of the night, and he raised it in secret. The village did eventually find out what happened to the missing kitten but also found out that Raion had the skill level of a Genin, and that the kitten wanted to stay with Raion. They decided missing one Atoneko wouldn't be too devastating but also tried to convince him to go into the academy. He declined and they eventually stopped asking him. Once they bonded the two never separated, Pansa staying close at all times. Raion trained himself in basic Taijutsu and Ninjutsu, figuring everything out on his own, but at age 10, when his parents died assisting Genin on a mission and getting killed in an ambush, he left the village immediately. He has wandered ever since, further practicing and honing his Ninjutsu and Taijutsu skills via hunting, gathering, and the like, still figuring everything out on his own. He isn't necessarily "smart" but he isn't stupid either, he also tends to rely more on speed than power and his Genjutsu knowledge is majorly lacking due to having no training of any type with it. He did travel to a small village and trained in medical Ninjutsu and was taught everything he needs to know to be an effective medic over the course of four years. At some point he found someone who crafted him ten metal claw attachments that go on the tips of his fingers, as well as a pair he permanently attached to Pansa's claws, these allow him to focus his lightning chakra through them, vibrating them and making the cutting edge even sharper. He also learned how to focus his chakra into his already sharp canine teeth, growing them temporarily to a ridiculous size to deliver a devastating bite. He also learned how to focus his lightning chakra to release a small barrage of small lightning bolts. Before he learned all this he relied on his speed to deliver quick claw slashes, normally with Pansa doing the same. He has the strength and skills of a Chuunin, and he figured everything out all on his own. He learned tree walking by seeing a hunter walk up a tree as if gravity didn't exist, over the course of a year he attempted it over and over again until he eventually managed to do it. He learned water walking from falling into water one too many times, absolutely hating water, and witnessing a hunter walk on it and tried to copy it, this technique taking much more time to learn, a full 3 years before he finally managed it.

Personality

Raion is always happy, always looking on the bright side, and always one to take on a challenge, especially if it is based on speed. He prides himself on his speed as well as relies on it. Very few things get him angry but one of those things are someone attacking him from stealth, he hates when people manage to avoid his senses. Besides that he isn't necessarily protective of Pansa, but should someone injure him severely, they can expect to face Raion's wrath. Raion will remain completely happy, and optimistic in nearly all situations, but on the off chance something ticks him off, he gains an insatiable blood-lust, he will see the person who caused his anger dead, unless they wound him badly enough to warrant a retreat.

Pansa is the silent type, despite being able to talk. He prefers to let Raion talk for him. He will speak up when he feels like it though. Pansa likes to act mature and serious at all times, but does, deep down inside, have a softer side. He is very protective of Raion and tends to get frustrated and agitated whenever Raion is in a fight. He normally can contain his anger during friendly spars but should he snap and forget that it is only a friendly spar, he will be relentless, but normally a simple reminder is enough for him to back down.

Appearance

Raion man stands at just over six feet tall. His eyes look a bit strange, as his pupils are slightly stretched out, not perfectly "cat-eye" but getting there. His ears are slightly pointed, and a bit larger than normal. If anyone managed to see his teeth they would see his canine teeth are much more pointed than normal, giving him an almost vampire like look when he smiles. He short dark brown hair that doesn't normally even reach down to his eyebrows.

Raion is also wearing ten metal claws, one on each finger, on his fingertips. And Pansa seems to have his front paws' claws seemingly coated in metal. Raion wears the Cloud Ninja headband proudly on his forehead. And Pansa wears the same as a collar, marking that he isn't just a random cat.
