+ The first...

My name is Mochizuki Toshiro. My place of birth is the Land of Water, though, more specifically Kirigakure no Sato. Such a violent shinobi village. One filled with blood-shed. Of course, this is not my cup of tea. I would rather sit on the side-lines and use my medical expertise to heal the wounded. When not in combat, you ask? I am continuously studying and researching multiple subjects ranging from genetic make-up to new medical procedures. Enough of that. Let me try to inform you of my past. It all began fifteen years ago when I was born…

My father and mother were top scientists in the research division of the village. They used their medical expertise and high-intelligence to conduct research and experiments on behalf of the Mist. My mother became pregnant shortly after their marriage and soon enough she gave birth to me. She remained at home with me while father continued his duties. As expected, by the age of five, I began showing signs of genius-level intelligence. This made my parents proud and they immediately began my training in the medical arts. By the age of eight, I mastered the basics of a medical shinobi and gained a ton of knowledge through reading books, however one thing bothered my father… I was not the blood-thirsty and violent type like he could be in battle. This angered him to no end and he began to secretly train me in our basement. Normal methods were used at first, but as no results occurred he began to use more drastic methods such as physical and verbal abuse. His thought process must have been if he pushed me enough I would snap and become a much more violent individual…

This continued for two years. Everyday after the academy, he would use these methods on me and it was slowly eating away at my sanity…exactly what my father intended, though nothing occurred until the night of the final academy exam. The twisted Mizukage forced me to face one of my closest friends, Tatsuki Oga, in a death-match to determine who would become a Genin. Of course, Oga being a true and blue member of the village, easily began his assault on me. I scrambled to protect myself, using my quick reflexes and medical knowledge to avoid harm, however it came a time where I would have to fight back and my father's methods finally showed results. I was unware of it at first, but another individual began to live deep down inside of my psyche and when my hand was forced against my closest friend this other entity showed itself. My skin turned a bit tanner and my natural blue eyes became a dark red somehow. I did not learn any of this until a few weeks after graduating from the academy. Apparently this other personality took over and did what I could not. I woke up in a pool of Oga's blood. My two kodachi laid at my side with hints of flesh and blood on the steel and a few feet from me was Oga; Completely mutilated.

With my best friend dead I became a Genin and the weeks to follow were hard to deal with, however my other personality showed itself to me and explained what happened. Shiro and myself forged a deal. He would be allowed out of his mental cage when a battle arised as long as he ensured our survival, though he had to allow me access to the memory of him fighting Oga and he did so. What I witnessed was truly horrific. It was a scene that any Kirigakure Shinobi would appreciate, but even possibly cringe at. With our terms agreed upon, I continued my life as a Genin of the village. I went on many missions and Shiro showed himself on many occassions in high-risk battle situations. Then the Chuunin Exams(just a small test and trial ran by the Mizukage) started. Five years passed so quickly. It felt like only a year…

I was entered into the exams by my father and of course, Shiro and myself worked together to ensure our survival. At the end of it all, I was promoted to the rank of Chuunin. It has only been a few months since that day and I continue my research as a medical-shinobi, allowing Shiro out of his cage from time to time so he can train in more violent methods. He even uses my knowledge of the human anatomy and my medical skills in battle, but in a more violent way than myself. Go figure. Well, now you know a bit of information about me and my more-violent split-personality… It is time for me to go and continue reading this book on genetic mutations. How fascinating.

Personality

+ Toshiro...

He is a teenager that would rather help from the side-lines than head into the thick of battle. He is quiet most of the time, however if someone asks him a question and if he knows the information, then he rambles on about the subject. He is a genius and enjoys studying, gaining knowledge, and experimenting. Thanks to his interests, he is very much a introvert most of the time, though he does try to socialize with his fellow Kirigakure Shinobi from time to time even if it is simply for information or to study them in the future.

+ Shiro...

On the flip-side, Shiro, is the personality locked in a cage within Toshiro's psyche. The two made a deal. Whenever a battle arises, Toshiro allows Shiro to take over and fight the battle for him since they both live within the same container. Toshiro is the intellectual, introverted, and distant type where Shiro is loud, blood-thirsty, crude, and down-right crazy.

Appearance

Standing at five feet and nine inches in height, this teenager fits the part of an intelligent-looking individual. His features are sharp and a pair of thin-wire glasses are worn over his light blue eyes. His hair is blonde, almost light enough that it treads on the shade of white and it parts in the middle to hang down on both sides of his head, stopping evenly with his chin. His build is lean and thin, though muscle is found on his frame, showing that he does do some sort of physical training despite his intellectual appearance. The skin of this man is somewhat pale, though.

Worn on his legs is a pair of cargo pants with multiple pockets for tools and on his upper body is a black body-suit that only covers his torso, but not his arms. A sea-blue flack jacket is worn over the semi-body-suit and shows off his rank of Chuunin. On his feet are a pair of combat boots to protect him from the elements. Finally, his forehead protector is not on his forehead at all, but rather wrapped around his waist like a belt and the cloth is the shade of black, allowing the metallic plate to glisten proudly whenever it can.
