Background
The Nagamura family of the Land of Lightning, while well-known, are not known for being combatants like many families. They are no shinobi clan, though a few of them have chosen to practice some forms of jutsu. What they are known for is their works in trade, politics, and a few even as doctors. Their endeavors have made them a wealthy family since before and through the Clan Wars and the founding of the Hidden Villages. While they were never a big part of the shinobi army, they did play a part in the funding and economics and still do.
Nagamura Shuuren was one lucky enough to be born into this family. From the time he was born, things were simply handed to him. He was taught by the best teachers in both normal school subjects and jutsu. He enjoyed playing and running, but he put strength and Taijutsu skill last among the things he studied. After all, physical fighting was better left to those his family hired for such duties. Of course, growing up as such and with the attitude that came with it, friends were not something he made many of. He was too busy to worry about such things, or at least that's what his parents told him.
As a boy, Shuuren found Ninjutsu to be his real area of talent. His level of control over his chakra was something to be seen, and his teachers hoped he'd turn out to be a powerful shinobi. However, the boy never cared much for combat. Instead, he turned his attention toward Medical Jutsu and becoming a doctor. What better way to earn a secure income? And he could at least contribute some way to the village without having to bother with fighting. Plus, he could learn ways to take people down without messing up his suit if it came down to him actually having to fight.
Shuuren was eleven years old at the time of the Founding. Seeing the opportunity to grow even more in wealth, the Nagamura family moved to Kumogakure and set themselves up there in trade and business, becoming one of the big sources of trade inside the village and between the lands. Shuuren himself continued his studies under Medical Ninja in the village and even learned how to sail his own ship for trade.
Taking advantage of his position, Shuuren started forming relationships with people of power in each land. While he never really became Chuunin-level in combat, his Medical Jutsu prowess and skills in diplomacy and dealings with other villages that he developed in working for his family granted him a promotion to Chuunin at fourteen. He also discovered he had a knack for being able to sense chakra and practiced this until he became a full-fledged Sensor Nin along with a Medical Ninja and has even been toying with ways to use diagnostic-type jutsu without ever touching a person using this skillset. With all this, his family began expecting more from him in terms of his shinobi duties and family duties. It became his job to help keep trade between his family and the villages open and friendly, even during times of war.
Over the past few years, Shuuren has built himself up as a Medical Ninja and as a businessman/diplomat of sorts and even been promoted to Jounin due to his tact for diplomacy, business, and Medical Jutsu. He has matured beyond his years in dealing with matters, though, due to his lack of caring much for combat, he keeps at least a couple shinobi with him on his journeys. Were Kumogakure to assign him to a team, it would more than likely be more for them to protect him on business trips, though other types of missions would likely be included in these things as well.
Due to how he presents himself, Shuuren can sometimes seem arrogant, but that's mostly due to the fact that he has to present himself as a businessman first and foremost, and he has to have a sharp mind and not back down, or older men in the business would try to run over him. Of course, that's another reason he keeps shinobi around. He is always seen wearing fine clothing, usually a white suit, to keep up appearances and be easily known for who he is. At times he makes rounds in the hospital, but he is always careful and will even make threats to keep his suit clean when healing a patient, though he rarely seems to lose his cool, calm composure. Outside business and politics, he has few friends and seems to prefer to keep it that way.
Personality
Shuuren is known as a very adept businessman and medical ninja. His demeanor is comparable to a diplomatic businessman twice his age, which is exactly what his job is along with being Daimyo of a country. Of course, being forced into such a position is likely what forced him to grow up so quickly to begin with. One might wonder if he really had much of a childhood. However, he seems to be content with how he is.
He doesn't really seem to care much for fighting. That's likely part of why he became a Medical Ninja. If he's ever forced into a fight, things get ugly pretty quickly, as he goes straight for slicing tendons that are vital to movement. He also seems to get particularly irritated if someone happens to mess up his suit.
In his years of growth he seems to turned to calm and rationality. Even in the midst of battles, he handles tense situations without so much as raising his voice.
Appearance
Nagamura Shuuren is a handsome young man who seems to always be dressed in fine clothing, standing just above six feet tall and appearing to be around his mid twenties. His face is thin and retains some look of youth, but definitely shows signs of maturity. His eyes are a blue-ish green color, perfectly set around his nose. Blondish-brown hair covers the top of his head, parted to each side to keep from covering his face, though a few stray strands do hang down over his eyes. He is currently adorned in a somewhat ostentatious white suit, consisting of a white coat, vest, and pants. The coat is left unbuttoned and open, the vest buttoned up fully. Whatever shirt he may be wearing under the vest is covered up by a black ascot, which tucks down into the top of his vest and comes up around his neck like a turtleneck. He also wears a pair of black dress shoes, made for comfort and travel. Occasionally, he might wear a pair of black gloves over his hands, especially if he is working as a Medical Ninja that day. |
Relationships
Name | Relationship | Notes |
---|---|---|
Daoma | Head Bodyguard | Shuuren first brought Daoma to Tea Country after rescuing her from a very volatile situation. After her wounds healed, they began going on missions together and she became one of his personal guard and eventually proved herself so much that he made her the leader of his bodyguards. |
Takaha Ryuusei | Bodyguard | Ryuusei first came to Tea after leaving Konohagakure and was welcomed by Shuuren. She first was allowed to earn her keep by tending the palace garden but has also trained with the Daimyo and become strong enough that she is now one of the royal guard. Along with that she is one of his closest friends and one of the most absolutely loyal among his guard. |
Himawari Saki | Personal Assistant | Saki is perhaps the most socially awkward girl Shuuren has ever met. They met first when Imire left Tea Country, and, though it is taking some time, he has seen her slowly come out of her shell. He sees a lot of potential in her, so much that he's made her one of his guard as well as his personal assistant in his duties as daimyo and in business. |
Uzumaki Tsukino | Friend | Tsukino was rescued from a malignant attack of her own jutsu that could have killed her and brought to Tea Country by a masked figure. After assisting her in recovering from the ordeal, Shuuren put her up in a room in the palace and taken care of her and they've even become good friends. Even after she was fooled into poisoning him, once she was proven innocent, they've only gotten closer. |
Fujiwara Ei | Patient | Shuuren has gotten to know Ei a little better since she's spent more time around Kumogakure. They don't tend to be seen a lot together in public, though he has become her primary care physician. |
Shirayuki Aoitsuki | Acquaintance | Shuuren's run into this woman a handful of times in Kirigakure. She seems to be level-headed and a good shinobi as well as elegant and graceful, though he hasn't gotten to know her that well. |
Kaguya Kiku | ??? | Ah, Kiku, probably the most trouble Shuuren has had with any one person his entire life. They were once in a relationship with a number of ups and downs, but they eventually parted ways and his path to becoming only drew them further apart. She has come to Tea Country a few times and they remain friends at least. |
Iga Sachiko | Acquaintance | This one is a little… strange-acting. She seems to get joy out of making others irritated at her. She was at least useful enough at her job of being a lookout on the mission he took her on. |
Kiyotani Eri | Ally | Eri seems to be a very nice girl who takes good care of herself. She is very confident in her self, to the point of introducing herself as 'the great and beautiful Kiyotani Eri', but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Beauty and confidence can be a nice combination, though she does seem like one that may take things overboard at times. She also seems to have a habit of giving people nicknames. Shuuren's nickname given by her is 'Suit', which is rather fitting due to how he dresses. |
Kaguya Yuuka | Acquaintance | This woman is quite interesting, a complex combination of beauty, deadliness, compassion, and ruthlessness. She can be very nice to sit down and have a conversation with -when she and Kiku aren't at each other's throats-, and she can also rip a horde of bandits to shreds without getting a drop of blood on her kimono. He's also treated her daughter, and the two seem to have a great relationship from what he can see. Of all the Kaguya Shuuren has met, this woman has to be the most impressive. |
Gansao Kitaru | Deceased | Kitaru had a lot of potential. It's a pity he fell when he did, but such is the life of shinobi. |
Uzumaki Akechi | Ally | Shuuren met Akechi on his way back into the village one day and saw him buying from one of his stands, also gave him a coupon after getting some feedback from it. All in all, Akechi seems like a good guy, dedicated to Kumogakure, though perhaps a bit too caught up in fighting being the answer to everything. |
Akuu Goh | Acquaintance | Goh is a bit of an outlandish person, but friendly nonetheless. Shuuren first met him on his way back to Kumogakure and allowed him to use one of his stalls on a main road to setup shop. The guy could use some advertising tips, but he'll do well… At least in the business of whoever wants to eat pickled vegetables. |
Kaguya Tsiro | Acquaintance | The protege of Yuuka. This kid is impressive in his own rights, especially for his age. As far as the Kekkei Genkai goes, he's far past the level Kiku has gotten in it, though Kiku does have a wider range of jutsu. He even became Mizukage after Meruin, a feet accomplished by only the very elite. |

August-September
The instructor my parents hired seemed to be rather annoyed with me today. He couldn't understand that one of his students that excelled at chakra control doesn't really care that much about fighting. Of course, the fact that I want to be a Medical Ninja and may save his life one day should be at least a little consoloation with the fact that he is being replaced as my teacher.
Really, my parents would probably prefer I stick to just being a businessman and inheriting their wealth one day, but what's the point if it's nothing I earned? Being a Medical Ninja is a good place to start working, and, when I am ready to really get set on the business road, I can use both and outdo even my father. That's what he wants, right, a prodigy that only progresses on what's already been done? Complacancy with being his heir is not the way to do that.
So, we're moving today. The clans from around our country are forming something called a Hidden Village to try to settle some of the wars and bind together against other countries attacking them. It seems like a good idea, though it's probably going to get pretty crowded. My dad says it's going to be great for business, that he'll be able to do business in volumes like never before.
At least I get to continue my training like I want. I'm supposed to actually be able to train under a few more people since there'll probably be a lot more Medical Ninja there to form a hospital. My parents are adding one more thing to my training, though. I have to learn how to sail a ship on my own. That's something that's needed in what we day. Looks like I'm not going to be getting a lot of time to relax in this new village.
So I've been elected to be promoted to Chuunin. That's a bit odd since the Chuunin tend to be incredible combatants, and that's definitely not my area of expertise. The way it's been explained is that I'm being promoted because of my Medical Ninja and business skills, along with any leadership qualities and such that come along with those. I suppose this just means I'll actually be leading my own escort missions for business ventures, rather than having to have another Chuunin or Jounin along. Maybe that's why it was done. In any case, it looks like I'm taking on more responsibility yet.
Apparently I've advanced enough in my medical studies to be considered Jounin-level. It's kind of amazing and a bit of a middle finger to some, considering I went against the wishes of my instructors so long ago. However, this is a great milestone. It earns me enough respect in the shinobi community to get my foot in the door in hospitals and in business.
Of course, this also means more responsibility. I will need to participate in more high-ranking missions for the village that are not business-related. I'm sure I will still be allowed time for that, as my business does create revenue for the village, but it looks like I'll be getting even less sleep than I already was. This should be fun.
Well, some idiot managed to crash one of my caravans into a sand dune and break a wheel off. I had to go to Sunagakure and pay to have a team come repair the wheel so we could get the shipment to the village. Of course, I halved the original driver's pay due to the incident, so that should cover enough of it. He'll learn to watch what he's doing if he wants to work for me again. The mission went off without a hitch, and I did meet some pretty potent Sunagakure shinobi. I'll have to remember their names for next time I go that way.
Today's trip was supposed to be a simple business venture to discuss increasing the supplies sent to a shop in Kirigakure to meet the demand. However, upon arriving, I was asked to tend to a Kaguya Chuunin in the Medical Center who had gotten in a rather rough fight with one of her kindred.
Kiku was rather hostile from the get-go. She seemed adamant that Kaguya don't need healing from Medical Ninja, like she had a point to prove for some reason. After a bit of coaxing… Which did involve a threat, I finally got her to get back in her bed and let me heal her. After that, I convinced her to walk with me to the market since I was rather curious about her attitude. I bought her some chocolate-covered strawberries to eat while I did business, as well as a few more boxes later. Still, the conversation ended up rather… hostilely. She has a serious barrier up and doesn't like to let anyone get close. Curious, but I had more things to do. No time to deal with teenage drama today.
I'd heard from a few locals of the Land of Water that a hidden oasis existed that all sorts of exotic plants and herbs grew in, so I decided to go check it out and take some samples to see if any of the plants there would be useful for creating new, more potent medicines. The journey was going quite well until I spotted someone dancing by a small body of oasis.
This was the first time, other than at the hospital, I'd seen Kiku armorless. She had her eyes closed while she was dancing and opened her eyes just in time to narrowly avoid a collision. The conversation, of course, started out as a bit of an argument, but it slowly got better. We grew a lot closer and ended up spending the night in this place preserved by nature itself. She still seems to like to put that barrier up around me, but it's improving, and I know it's only because she feels like she always has to fight… even herself.

Being away so much can be hard on a relationship, but I'd thought Kiku and I had some kind of understanding on that level. Still, it seems she wasn't entirely faithful. I heard her say that she couldn't choose between me and another while her stress was so high that she wasn't able to control her Kekkei Genkai. I decided to end the relationship because of that. If she isn't adult enough to handle this kind of situation yet, there's no sense in forcing her to because the results obviously aren't.
I met a couple of twins a few days later, Nao and Jun. After some talk, they've decided that they will both travel with me. It may seem a bit awkward, but I think it may work. They are an interesting pair, to say the least. Getting to know them should be an interesting experience in itself, and it's kind of nice to not be traveling alone so much.
Nao is very vocal about anything on her mind. I could tell it from when she was firing back at Kiku when she threatened her just for being around me. Still, I never expected that she'd be rude to my business partners, nor that she'd get so offended that I asked her not to. It seems our differences on that are irreconcilable. I have enjoyed spending time with those two, but I am a businessman, and, if they can't follow the rules of engagement, I risk losing clientelle and my reputation I've worked so hard to build. Perhaps we'll cross paths again some day.
Dating an ex is something people tend to warn you about, but I decided to give Kiku another chance. She and I talked things out, and I think it will all work out this time. It seems she and the other person haven't even spoken since the breakup, so I guess I don't have to worry about that. Kiku seems to have a better understanding of how things work with me this time, a lot better than Nao and Jun did. She understands that everything works like a business and that, while I am lenient, there are certain rules that can't be broken.
It's also kind of amusing to watch how she acts to other versus the changes when I come around. To most, she is an untameable beast, but I suppose those people just don't have my particular set of skills.
Today I was faced with a tough decision. Kumogakure is my home, and I being a Jounin of the village has been an honor. However, with impending war between villages looming, to be able to continue my business as I have, I had to become a neutral party in the shinobi world. After all, a Jounin of Kumogakure could be seen as a threat in many places, where as a very skilled neutral Medical Ninja and businessman will be welcomed with open arms. At least I'm still on good terms with Kumogakure, as I do help support its economy with my businesses, and that's why they were so understanding of this choice.
It's not all bad. Now I am technically under no one's jurisdiction. My studies and labs are my own, so I have no one to answer to for my experiements, nor am I obligated to share my findings with anyone I don't wish to. It was a tough decision, but things are looking up from here on.
I got to meet some of Kiku's clan outside a mission a couple days before I hired them for the latest one I took the on. Despite her foul mood the last time they met, which was due to Kiku running her mouth too much, Yuuka was quite friendly. Between that and the mission, it was interesting to see her contrast in personalities, as well as that of Kiku. Of the two, Yuuka is the most impressive, but she is by far a more experienced shinobi than Kiku, so that is to be expected.
Kiku was actually all business on the mission. No threats to Yuuka about getting to close to me, nor to any of the others. Actually, she didn't talk much at all until the end of the mission. I was impressed with her attitude, and I think she's getting a lot better at knowing when to act in certain ways. She's been a little slow to mature, but she is making great strides now.
Yuuka is a compassionate person and a loving single mother to her daughter, yet she can quickly turn into a deadly and ruthless warrior. She is definitely the most impressive Kaguya I have met to date.

April
I am seldom caught off guard with a situation, but someone did manage to get herself in enough trouble today that I had to push myself to keep her alive. Due to my current condition, I wasn't able to use my chakra to heal her, else this would have been a cinch. I believe her name was Satomi, and she has been my most troublesome patient in a while.
I was sitting at a river cleaning some of my instruments when this girl ran up to talk to me. It was a simple friendly conversation at first, just a reminiscent conversation with a girl that recently led a mission to bring me some supplies I needed. However, it quickly turned around when she fainted from a poison she'd come into contact with. I was able to provide her with an antidote for the obvious poison, but she wasn't getting any better, and it was apparent she'd come into contact with a different poison somehow. Since I didn't have time to diagnose it, I hopped on my horse with her and made a beeline toward Konohagakure to get her some help. They were a little suspicious of me at first, rightfully so since my head was shrouded at first and my chakra signature is a bit off due to my condition. Still, I was able to get her into the OR and stable, at which point their Medical Ninja took over, like they really had much else to besides monitor her and keep and IV feed that I'd set up going, and things turned out well. I will have to come back and check up on her one day.
Today was rather drab, just the usual rounds through the Land of Water and Kirigakure to be sure my clients had all they need and to try to pursue more business. After that was done, I ran into a someone I hadn't seen in a while, Yuuka, who happened to be doing some grocery shopping with her daughter Yuriko. It was nice timing since I needed to give her a congratulatory gift for her promotion. Since I was ready to actually get something to eat myself, I asked her what would be a nice place to eat then treated them to a meal at the place she suggested. Though I could see some sadness in her, I could also see her resolve. She is quite amazing in the burdens she shoulders, even if she doesn't see it herself. I look forward to watching a bright future develop for her and her daughter.

May
I was in Konohagakure to visit a colleague of mine and discuss the condition of a patient he transferred to me, sitting in the waiting room at the hospital, when I got spotted by Nara Satomi. She'd managed to get herself hurt again, this time in a spar that escalated a bit too much with a comrade. To be smart, the girl has a knack for ending up in need of medical attention quite often. She explained the situation to me while I closed up and healed her wounds. It seemed rather silly to me, but she's got a lot going on in her personal life, so stress build up has a lot to do with it, I'm sure. Still, at least she didn't have any overly serious wounds, and I did get to handle the business I had come to the village for.
I went to visit a colleague today whose status in her village has taken something of an insane climb. To get the more pleasant matters out of the way, I gave her a housewarming gift and something for her daughter's birthday first. Then came the more serious discussion. Since a major part of the insurgency in the Land of Water involves her clan, I wanted to get her thoughts on it. We agreed to support each other if the need arises, but hopefully order and peace can be restored without the need for a sea of blood.
Abilities
While not known much for being a fighter, Shuuren is known for being a quite excellent Medical Ninja. In fact, often when he is in a village on business, as a sign of good faith, he'll practice in the local hospital for a day or two to help out. However, it has been said that, if he's ever forced into a fight, what happens next is quite frightening.

正 Tadashi
Background
Tadashi is a bit of an enigmatic figure in the shinobi world. He showed up for the Promotion Exams and used the Ancient Temple as a medical facility until pulling out of the test at the last second without so much as giving anyone from his own village a reason for doing such. His list of missions doesn't appear to be that long, but he is a talented Medical Ninja and tends to be gone more than he is around Sunagakure due to being on missions that take longer than most because of their nature.
In reality, the Tadashi from Sunagakure was replaced by this man months ago. This fact has remained hidden for quite some time, whoever this man apparently being quite good at keep up appearances. He owns several hidden establishments that disperse specialized soldier pills that he created, his own private headquarters being inside a pleasure house in Fuuma Alley where all the workers literally have bodies perfect for their builds, this hidden area within the place being where he performs black market surgeries from shinobi-desired modifications to plastic surgery for identity cover-up.
Appearance
Tadashi dresses in dark clothing and seems to emit a sense of danger and mystery. He stands at roughly 6'1" tall, his build lean but likely muscular from what one can tell from the way his body fills his clothes, which show that he is quite serious about concealing his identity. Black hair covers his head, handing down in spikes around his head, though only a few spikes come down over his face, leaving a clear view for his eyes. His face is covered by a white mask with a flat line over where his mouth would be, a black line over across the cutout for the right eye made to look like a scar.
Over his torso, he wears a black jacket that helps to further conceal his identity, as it completely covers his arms and torso. The collar stands up around his neck, reaching up to his jaw-line and coming around to the front of his face, where it parts and comes down into a 'v' on his chest, his neck being covered by a thin turtleneck shirt, which is only revealed by this particular opening. His hands are covered by black gloves, waist and legs by black pants made for flexibility and comfort, though they still hold something of a formal look, the legs of which hang down over the top of his black shoes.
Personality
Tadashi's personality seems to be rather dark. He speaks with no inflection so as to not give any sign as to who he actually is and never removes his mask. In his more public appearances such as the Promotion Exams, he appeared to be rather benevolent, yet very confident and unshakable even in the face of the strongest opponents there. The reasons for this confidence, however, are more seen in his blacker deeds, the ones performed behind the curtain. In these situations, he has shown himself to be quite heartless and unforgiving, as well as very powerful. Those killed by his right hand man may consider themselves lucky that he was merciful enough to grant them a quick death rather than deal with them personally.
Abilities
Little is known about this man's abilities, other than that he is a quite adept Medical Ninja. No one was able to coax him into a fight during the Promotion Exams. The only things he was seen using were Medical jutsu and scrolls. Some may have seen him show a few feats of strength that were uncharacteristic for his size, as well the fact that he seemed prepared to heal without so much as touching his patient for a diagnostic first.

Relationships
Naru | Acquaintance | This girl seems to be quite strong-willed, though perhaps a bit overconfident, as he saw when he brought her into his medical facility to heal her after she was beaten in the Promotion Exams. Still, he apparently saw something in her, as he was gracious enough to hand his scroll over to her to give her a second chance at making it to the next round of the Exams. |
Ayumo | Acquaintance | One of Tadashi's more useful clients, this one can to Tadashi seeking a way to improve himself in combat and even chose a mission versus paying a rather hefty price. Perhaps he might make an interesting addition to the Chitsujyo one day, but, for now, the masked man is content with merely being sure the boy keeps his mouth shut on how he gained his new ability. |
Aimi | Acquaintance | This girl is a bit overly cautious to be in her line of work. She skipped a rather large purse for a relatively simple test job to see if Tadashi would be hiring her company for more work and thus shipwrecked any chance of her company getting any more jobs from him. He will not be seeking her or them out again. |
Banshii | Right Hand | Banshi, the first recruit into the Chitsujyo as an actual shinobi member rather than a mere peon. Tadashi named him 'Certain Death' for his abilities and faith that he will destroy any obstacle that may attempt to step in their way without question. |
Mai | Work in Progress | This girl chose her own code name. She has little faith in her abilities, yet Tadashi sees potential in her that she does not. In time, he believes she will become an instrumental part of the Chitsujyo and loyal to him for picking her up off the ground. |
??? | Member | This one has yet to choose a code name for herself, but Tadashi can definitely see her becoming an instrumental part of the group. While her part wasn't as major in her introductory mission with the Chitsujyo, she handled it well, despite knowing that this mission had the highest of stakes. Definitely a great addition to the team. |

1. Banshi: After hearing of his abilities through one of my sources, I recruited a man who remains nameless to the world to join my ranks. I put him on a mission that he passed with flying colors, and then he asked for a fight to prove I was stronger than him so that he could feel secure in working for me. Perhaps not the smarting thing to ask, as the wounds I gave him would've killed him had I not healed him in time, but it proved the point. Banshi is talented and loyal and has become a powerful right hand in the Chitsujyo.

2. Fools: I heard from an agent of mine within the Fuuma Police that a group that I hired to distribute some of my experimental soldier pills had begun peddling recreational drugs that were causing damage to and even killing those who took them out of the same base of operations I set them in. As if I weren't paying them enough, they had to become idiots because of their greed. To prove a point, Banshi and I paid them a visit. Those who crossed me knowingly paid the price. Those who were innocent will be trained and had better not make the same mistake again, else Banshi will be sent for a second visit.

3. Mai: This girl found me at an oasis where I was collecting samples for experiments. She seemed to have completely lost her way, as if she'd even lost the very purpose she was moving on. I saw potential in her that she did not see herself, so I offered her a place in the Chitsujyo. If she pushes herself, I think she can become an instrumental part of the group, but time shall tell.

4. ???: I rescued this girl from a pretty bad predicament after feeling her presence. After bringing her back to health, I had her put up in a home temporarily that occupied her time well enough. Once she recovered fully and grew bored, she came to find me. It was then that I told her that I knew more than she thought and offered to help her fully take advantage of her potential abilities if she joined the Chitsujyo. I have a really good feeling about how she will serve the group in the future, as well as how she will develop in her power.

5. Seijyaki: This girl and I met once before at the Promotion Exams, where I healed her to give her a chance to get back in the runnings of the Survival Exam, which she took full advantage of and passed. We met again when I tracked a kidnapped employee of mine to find she'd been taken by a human trafficking organization that'd set itself up in a walled fort near the Road to Nothing to keep people from finding it. We dismantled the organization together with no survivors, though one of them did manage to kill a good number of their prisoners. Still, some good did come from it, as that organization is gone and Seijyaku agreed to join the Order to assist me in bringing order and peace to the world. One more powerful shinobi has seen the light of what I am trying to do, and soon enough the world shall follow.

6. He Who Knew Too Much: A Chuunin of Kumogakure somehow got wind of the existence of our organization. I hate to have to assassinate anyone from that village, but I know his character, and he will not be swayed to our side. He is a powerful shinobi, and he may be useful in death if he is not in life. I have sent Banshi and Seijyaku to deal with him in what will be a test of their strength, for Seijyaku to prove herself as a member of the organization and for Banshi to prove himself in battling a powerful foe without my being there to back him up. I would go with them, as I do worry about the level of this man's power, but I am in no condition to face him, so I must put my faith in them and know that they will push through for the sake of the Order.

7. Masasnori's Fall: Masanori was contracted by a land to help turn the tide in a war by razing a small village that acted as a trade line. Myself and the Seven Swordsman Yuuka accompanied him, though this mission was not actually sanctioned by any village. Things went about as one would expect, mass slaughter of those who got in the way while the place burned to the ground. Those two handled the inner city while I used my abilities to secure the perimeter. Just as it seemed things were close to wrapping up, Masanori charged into a burning building to save a child. He did manage to save the child by tossing it to Yuuka, but his own tarry body caught flame. I managed to put out the fire, but not in time to save him since substance of his body severely accelerated his demise by simple dehydration. In the end, the mission was accomplished, but there is now an unexpected addition to my… collection.
8. The Journal: I was sorting through some things in my new residence today when I found a journal kept by the previous owner of the manor. In it were details of jutsu he had created and was working on, as well as his thoughts and even some poetry. The most interesting of these was one he called 'Loveless.' The man truly sought peace, but his methods did not work as he had hoped. He was even my predecessor in being the contract holder with the Hitokage and the Crawler. While he did manage to create some measure of peace, it has withered away since his death. Perhaps he will find solace from the grave in that the Order will bring peace in ways that he couldn't.

Background
Riku is a mysterious figure that has been sent by Nagamura Shuuren on missions to help various villages when they've requested help and he was unable to come personally for some reason. He has come to the aid of the villages against many threats as well as assisted in things like rescuing Uzumaki Tsukino when she was in danger due to a malfunction of her abilities.
Personality
There is little to go on about Riku's personality thus far. Most who've met him have only seen him in combat, where he tends to be serious yet laid back and calculative. He almost seems dismissive toward social interaction outside missions and quickly vanishes most of the time after missions.
Abilities
Riku has introduced himself as a Tenjin on missions, on which he has shown abilities in Medical Jutsu as well as Tenjin Plant Jutsu and Seal Mastery and the ability to summon snakes. He has shown himself to be at least on Jounin level in combat if not even more powerful.
