The true origins of this blind and clan kunoichi lay shrouded in mystery. The earliest of what is known of Natsumi is where and when she was discovered by Uchiha Rainos. In a small gambling town in the Land of Grass, the young seventeen year old woman dared to feign a stumble, falling back into him in his aid and smoothly pick pocketing the sizeable amount of coin that he had on him then. With thanks, she offered a humble bow of thanks, turning and moving into the crowd once more to the inn that she had taken up residence for the moment. Detecting that his chakra was still following her through the streets, she made her way to the inn, where he entered and she confronted him about his unusual shadow, sensing it to have an individual chakra life of its own.
Once in private, Rainos tested her abilities, finding them true to her word, that although her eyes are blind she is still able to see blue chakra moving and pulsing around her surroundings, much like a bat with sonar. Whatever chakra comes from or touches, she is able to see it, allowing her to maneuver through her surroundings, detect if a person is lying or telling the truth with the beat of their heart, sense emotions or if preparing to dodge or attack. His own Sharingan as a blaze of blood red chakra when activated. After testing, the Uchiha offered for her to join Takokujin, offered her purpose in life where she had none, a reasoning to life where otherwise she only lived day by day with little purpose. Joining Takokujin, for three years Natsumi has served Rainos by his side, his tool to be used as needed.

Before you is a young woman with long, straight ink black hair that tapers off at the small of her back. Long locks shimmer with faint blue highlights frames her pale face. A slender nose is the center piece of her smooth face. An ebony sash wraps around her eyes, the ends of the blindfold long and slender as they drape among her long locks. Below her nose is a pair of soft lips. The curvature of her chin leads to her slender neck.
Slender shoulders lead downwards, covered the ebony material of a long, hooded cloak that sways with the slightest breeze, clasp a dull and worn iron, though intricately detailed into a symbol that loops around and into itself. The front of the cloak is open, showing the ink black traveling kimono that cups along the undercurve of her chest. The long, dark sleeves of her kimono cover over her lean arms, the long hem just over her wrists lead to feminine hands and slender fingers with pale, natural fingernails. In her right hand, she lightly grasps a long, sturdy branch that has been modified as a walking stick.
The lean stomach curves naturally beneath the open cloak, a deep blood red sash wrapping around her slender waist. The smooth curve of her hips continues under the hem of the dark kimono, crimson hem brushing over her sculpted legs as she moves with little hesitance. A fully equipped ninja pouch strapped to her right thigh, out of sight except for the rarest of occasions when the folds part just slightly. Her small feet adorn a pair of black sandals with a slight heel to them.
