Mushi is a medic and always will be. She was banished from the Neutral Medical Center which she had founded. For Mushi, the line between neutrality and doing what was right had become too great. She wanders as she always has, but now she’s in search of something. A hope, a home, someone to be with? For now, the only thing that is certain is that nothing is.

Mushi has traveled the world over, and learned many healing techniques—more than any, some might say. Her kindness and her skill as a healer have always been well known, but now there’s a new element. A strong shinobi, a warrior, and a killer.

Mushi was born and bred in the Village Hidden in the Waterfall. She had a loving family, and a single brother, her twin Toshiro. They were constantly compared, but fortunately both demonstrated excellent qualities as shinobi. When an illness struck the small village, Mushi was inspired to become a medic nin, and grew under the wing of the local healer. Her brother excelled in every field of jutsu, and was rumored to be the next leader of their village.

Her mother’s warmth vanished when she died during a mission. It was a terrible time for Mushi. Her father did not fall to pieces; he was not that kind of man. But he became harder and more distant. Her twin was already walking in a different path, and they did not have the secret closeness they shared in their childhood. She dedicated all her energy and spirit to becoming the greatest healer, which would be needed when a disaster swept over the neutral countries.

It’s strange to call a living thing a disaster, but the monster who rampaged up and down country sides left destruction like violent storms. For awhile, the Waterfall Village remained hidden, but eventually shinobi like her brother pulled them into the struggle. The monster was stopped, but at the cost of her brother’s life. Mushi decided to honor his sacrifice. When his father married a new wife, who helped him smile once more, Mushi decided to spread her healing within the neutral territories that had no great medical clinics. She developed the Neutral Medical Center and has offered aid since.

In the past year much has happened. Mushi has been banished from the Neutral Medical Center. She has confessed to two Kages that she is a Jinchuuriki, and soon others may know. As she wanders, she needs to find friends, safety…and more.

Personality

Mushi is someone apart from the darkness. She is genuinely cheerful and warm, undaunted by the violence that she encounters around her. She’s not a saint, but she is always a good sight in pained situations. She works herself to the bone, doing as much work as several healers. She’s developed many good acquaintances, but she’ll be to most a good acquaintance as a healer-for-hire.

Appearance

Curling black hair and laughing green eyes. Mushi looks to be in her mid-twenties, and with the gear and physique of an experienced wanderer. Her face is often slightly sunburnt from hard travel, and her hair is usually messy but pulled back into a ponytail of ringlets. Various pins try to hold her hair down, the most prominent being a beautiful flower pin in the shape of a Gladiolus. She's not a tall woman, but she has a sturdy frame that's neither skinny or brawny. Mushi radiates warmth and life just by being nearby.

Mushi wears clothing that was once starched and immaculate, but now worn comfortable and soft. Her button up shirt is rolled up to her elbows, and hangs untucked to her waist. Across her chest is the strap to her medical gear. The pack on the back is modified so that it's larger than the parcel most medics carry around, but smaller than a backpack. She wears jeans that are frayed, but unnoticeable since she has them pushed up above her knees. Her shoes are open shinobi sandals.

Konoha

Senju Daisuke	Hokage	Mushi knew Daisuke long before he became Hokage. He was a companion, a confidante, and at times an ally. Mushi counts Daisuke as one of the most disciplined and admirable shinobi in Konoha.
Nara Shintaro	Ex	Mushi’s relationship with Nara Shintaro is one of deep guilt and desire. She was responsible for the death of his village’s Jinchuuriki and, far worse, part of the Nara Clan. For a long time they were deeply in love and a couple. But their separation for years, the period of silence, and the sudden plea for his help, has only widened the divide that Mushi now feels with him.
Nara Usagi	Adorable Kid	Mushi considers Usagi a younger sister to her. She resolved to protect her in a mission at any cost.
Senju Tobiramako	Senju Clan Head (Dead)	Mushi has only met Tobiramako a few times, and perhaps her most recent one will be the last. Mushi considers herself responsible for the death of Kaito, and told Konoha of what happened immediately. Tobiramako absolved her of blame on behalf of Konoha. But that guilt is a weight that Mushi will have to carry.
Akimichi Noab	Akimichi Clan Head	Mushi likes the old fart. He’s stronger than he looks, nicer than he acts, and he’s not lofty like many clan leaders.
Inuzuka Taiki	Clan Head	Mushi went with Taiki on the fateful mission that was the final act in getting banished from her Center. She also helped to stop the spread of a deadly epidemic of parasites. He is a coordinated and dutiful shinobi.

Kumo

Sayamoto Misaki	Jinchuuriki	Mushi stepped into Misaki’s life in a time of great conflict within Kumo. She helped Misaki as a comrade, as a Jinchuuriki, and as a healer. They have parted for the time, but Mushi has always planned to see her again when she’s in need.
Hiei and Hiroyasu	Wolf and Goat	A feisty Kumo nin and a perceptive one. She met him several times, and he’s always left an interesting impression on her. She’s met Hiroyasu once, but he also made an impression when he crashed through Kumo, riding a rampaging bull.
Reizei Ogosokamaru	Ex-Raikage	Mushi hasn’t met him. In fact, the fact he was unavailable for weeks left her rather disgruntled. She really needed to speak with him.

Kiri

Okumo Meruin	Mizukage	Mushi has met him once. By sensing his presence, she considers him one of the most dangerous men she’s ever met. He seems nice.
Kaguya Yuuka	Friend	Mushi helped Yuuka safely protect her unborn child. For that, Yuuka owes Mushi a great debt, which Mushi has drunk away. They are good friends, and not only among the Kaguya, but in all of Kiri, Mushi considers her the kindest shinobi. Mushi adores Yuuka’s daughter Yuriko, but who doesn’t? Recently, she offered to remove the girl's aging seal, which she turned down.
Moto ‘Kirryu’ Kiyoshi	Fellow Jinchuuriki	At first, Mushi considered Kiyoshi Tsun’s replacement. He’s a Jinchuuriki, and possesses the qualities of an excellent shinobi. Like most younger shinobi carrying a bijuu, she extended the hand of friendship. But recently he's seen her at her worst—and her best, as she removed his aging seal.
Shirayuki Koseitama	???	What a strange, strange girl.
Uzumaki Isra	Seven Swordsman	Mushi recently went on a mission with Isra. Isra represents much of what Mushi considers to be a Kiri nin. Dangerous, proud, and resourceful. As one of the Seven, Mushi helped to navigate through a precarious negotiation.
Okumo Sei	Quiet spider boy	Mushi first met Sei when she learned he was one of the carriers of the aging seal. She was dismayed at his lack of self-worth at so young an age, and hopes one day he'll understand his uniqueness and importance to this world, however unlikely that is. She has removed his aging sesal.
Fujikujo Akane	An eyeful	Mushi first met Akane in the hospital. The girl had partially lost her sight, and the Kiri medics were unable to treat her condition. Suffice to say, Mushi gave Akane a "temporary fix" and hopes Akane will have her sight restored and stop playing pranks, the brat.

Suna

Kokoroe Sousa	Ex-Kazekage	Mushi has met the Kazekage, and considers him the gentlest Kages she’s had the privilege to encounter. He can be firm and commanding. But most times, she sees a benevolent and gracious leader. When they had an exhibition match, when he preemptively and kindly conceded the match, the most Mushi was able to do was concede as well, and turn it into a draw.
Tenjin Hibari	Sensei (Hibari)	Hibari is the only person Mushi has called sensei. The woman’s understanding of poisons within Suna is unrivalled. Mushi enjoyed learning about the other side of healing, about the plants and their usage, and exploring Hibari’s unheard of garden.
Shippodoku Keiji	Acquaintance	Mushi enjoys Keiji’s company, though she has only seen him a handful of times in her life. She considers him a right-minded and natural healer with potential. Perhaps she’ll meet him more in the future.
Watanabe Itami	Nice hair	Mushi met Itami when she came begging for favors. The Kazekage was very obliging, though Mushi imagines she's not quite as lenient as the mild, gentle Sousa.

Nagamura Shuuren	Don’t ask	Shuuren is many things to Mushi. A healer that rivals and perhaps surpasses her skills. A shinobi, a daimyo, a dangerous man. Like her, he harbors an entity of darkness with himself. Though they’ve met multiple times, Shuuren remains a person shrouded in mystery.
Ongakuno Aburei	Closest comrade	There is no one Mushi considers more of a friend than Aburei. He’s her apprentice, her comrade, and her close companion. He’s an incorruptible soul, a talented shinobi, and a gifted healer. Through thick and thin he’s always been there for her, and always will.
