Nikumari Mushi is a warm and upright person, always putting her best effort. She's best known for being a healer-for-hire. She works for the Neutral Medical Center, which was first developed for the sake of neutral territories that lacked medical facilities. Those who come knocking at their door is given treatment, no matter what their status or alliance is. There are several healers like Mushi who are wanderers, going around to the places most in need of aid. However, she takes no part in wars or seek to change the outcome of one.
Since her wanderings Mushi has seen several wars, and has become a post-war healer. However, she's not unknown to turn up during smaller battles. And more than once she's bent the rules of non-intervention to the point of breaking.
Background
Mushi was born and bred in the Village Hidden in the Waterfall. She had a loving family, and a single brother, her twin Toshiro. They were constantly compared, but fortunately both demonstrated excellent qualities as shinobi. When an illness struck the small village, Mushi was inspired to become a medic nin, and grew under the wing of the local healer. Her brother excelled in every field of jutsu, and was rumored to be the next leader of their village.
Her mother’s warmth vanished when she died during a mission. It was a terrible time for Mushi. Her father did not fall to pieces; he was not that kind of man. But he became harder and more distant. Her twin was already walking in a different path, and they did not have the secret closeness they shared in their childhood. She dedicated all her energy and spirit to becoming the greatest healer, which would be needed when a disaster swept over the neutral countries.
It’s strange to call a living thing a disaster, but the monster who rampaged up and down country sides left destruction like violent storms. For awhile, the Waterfall Village remained hidden, but eventually shinobi like her brother pulled them into the struggle. The monster was stopped, but at the cost of her brother’s life. Mushi decided to honor his sacrifice. When his father married a new wife, who helped him smile once more, Mushi decided to spread her healing within the neutral territories that had no great medical clinics. She developed the Neutral Medical Center and has offered aid since.

Personality
Mushi is someone apart from the darkness forming in the Great Shinobi Villages. She is genuinely cheerful and warm, undaunted by the violence that she encounters around her. She’s not a saint, but she is always a good sight in pained situation. She works herself to the bone, doing as much work as several healers, and taking great pride in the medical center she works for. She’s developed many good acquaintances, but she’ll be to most a good acquaintance as a healer-for-hire.
Appearance
Curling black hair and laughing green eyes. Mushi looks to be past twenty, and with the gear and physique of an experienced wanderer. Her face is often slightly sunburnt from hard travel, and her hair is usually messy but pulled back into a ponytail of ringlets. She's not a tall woman, but she has a sturdy frame that's neither skinny or brawny. Mushi radiates warmth and life just by being nearby.
Mushi wears clothing that was once starched and immaculate, but now worn comfortable and soft. Her button up shirt is rolled up to her elbows, and hangs untucked to her waist. Across her chest is the strap to her medical gear. The pack on the back is modified so that it's larger than the parcel most medics carry around, but smaller than a backpack. She wears jeans that are frayed, but unnoticeable since she has them pushed up above her knees. Her shoes are open shinobi sandals.
Relationships
Ongakuno Aburei
A fellow worker of her organization the Neutral Medical Center. Aburei is more like a little brother to her than a co-worker, and has known him for most of his life. Recently he helped her out in a pinch, proving that techniques and age aren’t what always matter.
Akuu Goh
More than Mushi’s fling. Goh came as quickly as he left, and Mushi hopes to see him again. Though nothing was permanently established with the pickled vegetabler, few have captured Mushi’s heart as much.
Nara Shintaro
Mushi's companion and boyfriend. She's spent a great deal of time with him both wandering and within his village. They've grown closer together over time, as they continue to lead their different lifestyles.
Konohagakure
Mushi has a very friendly relationship with Konoha and many of its residents. She’s always been quick to aid Konoha, that began with the mission to find her, to help out their injured Genin. Since then it’s been a regular stop for her, both having to do with the time she’s hired there, and more personal pursuits. Her neutrality stance has been put to the test many times concerning this village.
Sunagakure
Mushi is closer to Sunagakure than any other village. This is mostly due to Tenjin Hibari, who specialized in plants and herbs. Her genius with botany has led Mushi to call her sensei, and she’s learned a great deal about herbal remedies and poisons during her stay there.
Kumogakure
Mushi rarely visits the mountains, and she’s rarely hired to go there. She respects the pride and strength that the Kumogakure shinobi demonstrate, but she can’t say she knows them very well.
Kirigakure
A source of great nervousness for Mushi, but that doesn’t keep her from frequenting the Land of Water. Due to their battles, she’s aided Kirigakure more than anyone else, but it’s sometimes been with a grudging professionalism. She finds the Kirigakure the most intriguing and also most confusing assortment of shinobi she’s ever met.
Abilities
Wanderer - Mushi knows the geography of the entire continent, and the locales of each country. She also has the advantage of learning about all the villages, even the ones competing with one another. She knows how to “live off the land” and other survival tactics. She can travel faster than most shinobi to reach a place in need with great speed.
Ninjutsu - Mushi fights at Jounin level with Earth and Mud Manipulation. She has learned to weaponize pure chakra for offense and defense as well. However, her greatest skills lie in healing. She has dozens of healing techniques, and has created many of them. High ranking ones include Trinity Seals of Healing, Spiraling Seal of Health, Life Healing Jutsu, and a forbidden unsealing technique, Mark of Unsealing.
Taijutsu
Mushi incorporates her Chakra Shaping into her taijutsu techniques. She uses shaped chakra to sharpen and enhance her hand to hand techniques. She can also use her medical skills as a style that concentrates on extreme precision and harmful chakra.
Genjutsu
