Onikurai Miyako was born on a warm summers night in the Village Hidden in the Mist to father, Onikurai Junichi and mother, Onikurai Sayuri. Being their only child, Miyako was spoiled with love and gifts from the moment she was born. Her father, Junichi was a highly respected kenjutsu using ninja. Being chosen to be part of the ANBU forces for Kirigakure many years before having Miyako, he was usually away on missions so Sayuri was the main caregiver. With the time he was home, Junichi would often teach Miyako his methods for being a great kenjutsuist and gave her her own pair of swords when she was four. Other than training with his daughter, Junichi was a very respectable and quiet man rarely showing any happy emotions. Being quite stern at times, Junichi could come off as being cold and angry but that’s just how he was. Miyako looked up to her father very much and wanted to be just like him when she grew up.
Sayuri, Miyako’s mother was quite the opposite, fun-loving and smiling all the time. She was also a ninja, acquiring the rank of Jounin when she was sixteen with her lightning ninjutsu style. After learning that she was pregnant at age twenty-four she retired her ninja status and became a full time mother. Seeing her husband and daughter train together and seeing how much Miyako loved kenjutsu, Sayuri also wanted to have an impact on Miyako’s training, attempting to teach her lightning style ninjutsu but to no avail, Miyako showed little to no interest in this for the time being.

Miyako’s whole world came crashing down on her, even tho on the outside she showed little to no emotion, in the inside she was screaming. For the next two years, Miyako became a recluse. Not leaving her house much unless she had to train or was sent on a mission. Her usual day would consist of sitting on her bed and staring at the giant sword her father had left her with his name engraved into the bottom. Suddenly one day, she snapped out of it and decided it was time to get back to it and
Finally back on the path to becoming a Chuunin, with much practice she finally reached her new rank when she was fourteen. Her mother and her closer than ever now, Miyako asked her if she would try and teach her lightning style ninjutsu. Now being quite accomplished in Kenjutsu and Taijutsu, she believed it was time to start dabbling in Ninjutsu. Miyako is now on her way to becoming Jounin and will stop at nothing to be the best she can be, no matter what it takes. In the future she also aspires to be an ANBU like her father.
Personality
Her personality from a young age much mimicked her father, being very quiet and never showing much emotion neither in her voice, face, or her actions. This has made it quite hard for her to make any friends or have any relationships with anyone at that. The only person (that is still alive) who Miyako has any type of relationship with at this point in time is her mother, it is said that Sayuri is one of the only people to have ever seen Miyako smile after her fathers death.
Miyako has always had a dark side to her limited personality, eyes constantly scanning her surroundings, she is always ready for a fight. If need be, she will kill. (She might even kill when it's not even needed.) Sending off a malicious aura, most people who make eye contact don't want to be near her for more than they have to be.

Strapped around her shoulder and resting on her back is Miyako's weapon of choice, her over sized sword. The blade being about 5' in length, 1'6" wide and the hilt being roughly around a foot long. The blade shining silver with the name Junichi embedded in black close to the hilt, along with the Village Hidden in the Mist symbol next to it in red. Black wrappings cover the hilt for better grip and cushion.

Miyako doesn't have relationships other than family…
