Reizei Rangiku has recently stepped into the world of Shinobi. She seeks to master the techniques of her clan.

Born into the main branch of the Reizei Clan, Rangiku was usually quite laid back, even as a child. Her relaxed nature seemed to gain her a few friends, because she never really worries about the small stuff. While this make the aristocratic view of the family look upon her in slight disfavor, her parents noticed something about this outlook…..patience, and lots of it. She might not take the initiative in a few things, but she was willing to see how things played out. However, like during some sports games, once she leapt into action, she was FAST. VERY fast. That is what the clan elders noticed.

Once she started taking interest in the sword, that was when she was taught up to use it. Of course, she began with a wooden sword when she went into the academy, and she impressed her instructors on how quick she was. She had a hard time with Genjutsu, but that could be overcome in time and the right training. She also worked excellently in a team, usually being the fastest one on the team and her sword never came out of it's scabbard until she struck. While many of the elders retained a bit of enmity towards the Saito clan, but Rangiku doesn't see it. It allows them to take on more missions and be more covert than the Saito clan, who are KNOWN to be the royal guard. She, however, has no enmity towards the Saito clan, just as long as they don't start 'bragging' about the royal guard status.

Rangiku, despite her rather relaxed nature, graduated from the Kumogakure academy with flying colors, and was given her own personal sword to use, resembling a smooth black stick, until the sword is drawn. She usually keeps it at her hip, for ease in drawing. Now a Genin, she continues to train, even in her relaxed way, in the village….waiting until she's assigned a team.

Personality

Rangiku is relaxed a good deal of the time. An easy smile, apparently slow to move, doesn't sweat a lot of things, and usually in good humor, even when she's hurt. It doesn't make her slothful, she just relaxes when she can and doesn't worry about problem people, until they make themselves HER problem. She's in no hurry to tackle any problem unless lives are on the line. She believe that, if she has to think of a solution to a problem quickly, it's not always the BEST solution, so she tries to look at the problem from all angles before she attempts to come up with a solution. It makes her appear slow much of the time, which may lead to perceptions of slothfulness, but given a chance, she can come up with some very insightful answers to problems.

Appearance

Standing about 5'7", this fair skinned lady has blonde hair that travels down to her shoulders. She has large blue eyes and an angular face with full pink lips. She wears a blue top that is kept loose upon her form, barely concealing her full figure with how loose it is, with the symbol of her village set at her chest. She wears a black pair of pants, with a long, smooth, black stick at her left hip. Upon her feet, she wears a pair of black shoes, covering them to just below her ankles.
