Mitsu was born destined to become a Senshi, coming from a mother who was known for her speed and a father who was renowned for his skills with the blade. At a young age Mitsu would be found in his father’s study touching his swords and other equipment, trying to wield the blades though they would be too heavy for a toddler to lift. As he grew so did his curiosity for everything related with fighting, studying his father’s spars with other clan members in the mornings. Following his mother as she practiced her jutsu during the afternoons. Mitsu even took up drawing and sketching solely so he could draw images of characters in the traditional family stances and even the stances his father would spend hours and hours practicing.

Two years later Mitsu is now nine years old and beginning his own lessons. Unknown to most other children in his clan he has been training in many basic areas with his father, swordplay, and taijutsu skills being a main focus point. His mother being a skilled ninjutsu user would teach him theory on the practice but always expressed that it was dangerous and shouldn’t learn to use it until his lessons had progressed further for safe measures. He came into the shinobi world with a foot up on basic skills and knowledge and quickly became a shining example of what it was to be a Saito, causing many of the other children to dislike him. He was the first to finish every test, he finished first among all of his peers in almost every area of study.

The time for genjutsu studies came around, suddenly his interest plummeted. He and his parents both believed that genjutsu was nothing but trickery and had no place in combat. Other members of the clan would teach the children the skills, his fater never agree'd with such things. “It’s for cowards and sneaks!” Mitsu would have screamed at him by his father. “You worry about /real/ skills!” Then would storm out of the room. His mother however was more understanding about these things; she assisted him in learning the basic things he needed to get by. In fear of upsetting his father he never took his learning of genjutsu seriously and only ever learned what was required for him to advance.

After just one year at the young age of ten, Mitsu having earned many jealous rivals within his clan would now find his clan being brought into the newly formed Kumogakure. The Raikage aware of the Saito's skills had assigned their most elite members the honor of being his Royal Guard. The Senshi. This quickly became Mitsu's goal, his own mother being absorbed into their ranks adding even more to this desire. Having been given the rank of Genin at this point he only cared about advancing in rank so that he could become a Senshi and make his father proud. His first year as a genin was a blur of endless training with his father and mother, day after day of sword play and taijutsu study. Endless conditioning and sparring training to build him up and prepare him for the true test of his strength the Chuunin exams.

The day arrived, one year had seemed like an eternity and Mitsu raced down the stairs of his home to head down to the opening ceremonies. His father was waiting on the front step for him holding his sword. “My son, you are not yet ready for this test. I have not finished showing you what you need to know, I have not registered you for the Chuunin exams this year.” His father would go on to explain that he had spent the last 25 years of his life developing his skills in hopes of being able to teach them to his son in the future and that the style may one day become the single greatest fighting style in the world. This was the reason that his father had not become an Senshi and remained as a sword smith all his life.

Mitsu could not turn down his father’s wishes and continued his training for another year, he and his father travelled together deep into the mountains where Mitsu would develop his abilities even further in peace. It was here that he learned his tree walking and water walking abilities. As well he learned that he could use his chakra to enhance his ability to move quickly. He learned to move so quickly infact that his body could flicker out of normal human sight, from there he learned to use them as both an attack and defense he was told these were called “The Body Flicker Technique”.
An entire year spent in solitary training and Mitsu even though in a 12 year old body was mentally much older than most existing Chuunin. His mind had been well disciplined; his body had become a weapon. He was driven by one thing and one thing only, success on any mission. At this moment his mission was to complete the Chuunin exams. With the help of two years of hard training from his father he made it through the exam nearly unscathed. He did have quite a run in with a Reizei clan member who made it a point to make things extremely difficult for the young Saito. In the end however the older boy was defeated in battle and died at Mitsu’s sword.

His first kill, it was accidental he didn’t mean to kill the boy. The Reizei had appeared and attempted to strike with the speed they are known for. Mitsu acted purely on instinct as he parried the initial strike and his blade switched angle before sweeping down and cutting through the boy’s midsection. The Reizei fell with honor in the arena in Mitsu’s eyes however so the thought of killing the boy in a fair fight was by no means a disgrace and he did not feel pity at all. He sheathed his sword and accepted the rank of Chuunin with honor.

After seeing his performance in the Chuunin exams and his great triumph over the Reizei boy, Mitsu was enrolled into Senshi training. For 3 long years disappeared behind the closed doors of the Saito dojo, where he learned the art of Senshi Kenjutsu and how to wield a blade at an even more advanced level. During this training he also learned how to defensively dodge without having to depend on his chakra and the body flicker technique. It may be rumoured that he killed many more during his training among fellow clan members. He now emerges fully graced with the title of Senshi, having completed the goal he has held for as long as he can remember he now enters the village for the first time with something besides training on his mind. He wishes to come to know and be-friend the people of Kumogakure and finally create the bonds that will be required in order to be able to protect these people to the best of his abilities. Beyond that he intends to apply for a position among the Hunter-nin of the village. His reasons for this are still unknown to any including his parents.%T%T

Personality

Mitsu for the most part has commited his life to order and upholding it. Though he does have quite an ego it very rarely gets the best of him in situations as he truly is confident in his abilities. He is know to remain very calm in almost all situations and generally remains expressionless. His social abilities have not really developed properly due to having spent the majority of his life cut off from the world. He does not seem to be bothered by anyones age and unless they have proven they are atleast his equal he will generally refer to them as a child even if they are his elder. Alot of Mitsu's personality is of yet unknown because of his lack of social contact with what most people would call 'friends'.

Appearance

Mitsu is a 15 year old male with spiked brown hair of medium length. He sports a smile and bright optimistic brown eyes. He generally carries a smile upon his face and a glisten in his eyes, this however is a mask for the well trained killer that hides beneath his skin. He stands at 5’ 8” with a lean and athletic build muscles well defined and cut from years of day in day out training.

As far as clothing, Mitsu wears an white collared button down shirt, which fits loosely and is never buttoned. Beneath this he sports a tight fitting blue tank top which reveals the well defined torso and abdomen muscles beneath. He wears tan cargo pants loose fitting and baggy like much of his other clothing to allow for mobility. The pants are held in place by a black leather belt lined with more kunai and linked with a belt buckle that adorns the Kumogakure symbol which he wears as his headband. His hands adorn black leather gauntlets that extend 3/4ths of the way up his forearm and hidden within the inner side are slots which 4 kunai may be places on either side for easy access. Wrapped around his left arm is a long piece of fabric brown in color which is purely used for distracting enemies and concealing attacks and movements during combat. Mitsu does not ever wear or any form of foot wear claiming they interrupt his connection with the earth, disconnecting him from the world.

Upon his back Mitsu carries his Wakizashi given to him upon receiving the rank of Senshi, as all of the men in his family have done previous to him. He proudly wears the black sheathed Murakumou held there with a red silk ribbon. The sword has a White handle that has been expertly wrapped with a black leather grip.

Timeline

9 years old - Was trained by clan members
10 years old - Clan joined Kumogakure and Mitsu became a Genin.
11 years old - Was taken into the mountains for special training by his father.
12 years old - Entered the chuunin exams, made his first kill in the combat portion.
12 years old - Recieved the rank of Chuunin, was immediately taken in for Senshi training.
15 years old - Emerges with the title of Senshi.
