Hidden roles within a ninja organization or not unusual. One experienced in battle would always know that information in warfare can make or break the tide of battle. Being one step ahead of the next organization could mean the difference between the life of a village and the death of one. Sunagakure had been a small village who realized what they had lacked in power and overwhelming numbers, had to be exercised with strategy and stealth. Due to there hiding out in the desert, it was good that the area itself would provide a perfect place for ninja of this land to hide, and remain hidden, but what about the other villages? One such nin, a genius, young and small would have rose from within the sands.

One such ninja had been the a prime example of what this village had wanted out of its more shadowed and watchful eye, in the person of a then 11 year old Imota Sokai. The boy had been a prime example of one thing a ninja clan should have been already very good at…information gathering, scouting , and when done leaving without a trace. The boy had been, by the time he reached 11 years old, a proficient spy, and even at genin, been profiencient at all that was needed to sneak in and observe. His operation always included the merely just being around, under the cover of what ever was needed. Best friend, homeless beggar, monk, orphan, what ever was necessary, only resorting to jutsu when necessary. He would assume the role and do every thing including lying, just so that the objective would be reached. The time frame of these scouting and spying mission, often times would extend between anywhere from an hours time, to months, depending on what was required, the target often being watched, carefully, and learned, before the day would come when death was certain, often slipping in unnoticed, and before long, showing up in the simplest ways.

These things are what made Shippodoku Imota Sokai stick out in the eyes of many whom had been elder and in charge of the inner workings of this clan , and even with the clan’s boundaries, the boy had reached high esteem, even amongst his peers. His role, by the time he had reached the age of 11 years old had changed from that of a simple, to a trainer, and lead agent of those out on the field. He discouraged flashy attempts at getting noticed, often berating and embarrassing the use of those techniques that would blow ones cover, and cause them to be killed. The emotionless Sokai considered death as only the failing factor of getting the job done and nothing else. Staying alive meant an ever influx of information that could be gathered and shared for an ever changing strategy of domination and, conquering.

But unfortunately, though he had been such, even as one of genin level, his own character as a nin, had not been befitting of one such disciplined in such ways. If his cover had been blown, he would kill without a second thought. The sight and wondering of the seal that had been upon his skin for years, that which blocked what had been his clans birthright, had been a constant reminder that even though he would do the right things for his clan, it would do nothing to qualm the inner strife that had plagued them since the days of Takeo and Takeshi. Many whom he had been peers of his, those who would grow up, and be his friends, would only be separated from him the moment the line between the Path of Earth, and the Path of Wind had been crossed. The forced division made for even more stress, due to divided stances amongst the 6 council members that lead the clan.

Sokai ‘s specialties lied not only in his talent for remaining hidden, but for also his ninjutsu, which had been a true blend of both the mastery of wind, as well as the on hand tactics that used both the many inventive bombs, traps and tools that are common in the ninja world, but with the memorizing of the field of battle on which he had fought. His every plan, calculated, and simple, often allowed nothing to chance, and though he had been a trainer of his peers, and some cases looked to as a leader, his strategies would not allow for such compassion. His words…”Certain sacrifices must be made.”

Sokai’s ultimate goal? The breaking of the seal that has bound his clan’s uniting affinities for years. Through this he feel that he may soon unite the clan he has toward one goal. The controlling of the entired land of wind, despite even the whimsical plans of the new Sunagakure. Though he shows his loyalties now, some how, this ninja, will find a way to make his own plans flow into fruition.

Appearance

At 4’5, Sokai, his eyes squinted slightly, as if his eyes gazed at the sun way to much. He wears a a blank expression upon his face, emotionless, and stoic, but not intimidating, wearing thin eyebrows, arched and lined with black ink, amongst green eyes. His hair is short, and curly, combed back, and brown, for reasons of strategic means, keeping someone from having something to tug on. His physical body remains as decieving, looking very much stealthy and small, while still keeping toned, not incredibly muscular, but seeming fit. His skin, even is a slight tan, showing signs of outdoor activity..

Due to having had to disquise himself some, he chooses a different bit of clothing each time he is out, not wearing the same thing twice. However, mosy of the time, on missions that don’t require such role play, as well as everyday life within the village, he wears two large brown leather belts over his chest, which criss-cross over the shoulders and make up what would be a neat attachment for a weapon to be held on his back. The boys forearms, from the hand, to the elbow, are wrapped in white bandaging. The legs, from the thigh downward to the toes are wrapped as well in the same bandaging, while he feet remain shod, with one toothed geta sandles that have become his trademark. The sandles stilt the boy using a piece of wood which adds an inch to his height. Around his waist, he wears a shenti wrap, much like that of the Egyptions, that hangs down to about the calves, and his made of the same brown leathering as the belts her wears.

He wears upon his head, at all times, the Suna hitai ite, sown into a brown leather, Egyptian style headdressing, much like that worn by pharoahs. On his back, he carries a large shuriken, tied onto him, the brown leather harness, and had three ninja pouches on his lower back. He has a smaller set of shuriken pouches strapped to his left calve, harnessed at the ankle and just beneath the knee.

Abilities

Imota's abilities, stem fom the unique way from which his mind works. The small ninja, is a thinker, always trying to make sense of any and every situation, from the most technical, to even things like emotional ties, and habits. The nin likes to ask question, when befitting, and his style of attack, and defense often mirror that personality quirk.

Tactically speaking, his simple method, of testing ninja with weaker attacks, and evading all the while, help him to observe the opponent he faces, and analyze them. His more simple tactics, of looking and investigating another ninja's capabilities, often use Shinobi tools and traps, to slow the opponent down, and conserve his own chakra, all the while, trying to figure out the best approach to the given situation.

This often gives way to mostly long distance fighting, Imota often taking time to attack from long distance, giving himself room to both observe, and react justly, without allowing the nin to dissolve his concentration, and come in with a close range attack. Stealth, is often accompanied with this style of fighting, giving the nin more time, to work out a strategy. In other words, is one can stop Imota from thinking, he can stop Imota from fighting.

Imota's, being of the Wind Path of the Sasaki Clan, is also very talented, in the use of wind element ninjutsu. A particular trademark in his style of fighting, often lies in using wind itself to either sharpen his tools of attack, to either travel faster through the air, or extend the range of cutting. Along with enhancing blades, Imota also has been known to change the concentrate the air around him, forming blades in the wind itself, to either attack or defend. Coupling this, along with his talented, and unique usage of clones with traps, and bombs, Imota can often vary the way he attacks and defends, according to the situation at hand.
