Masashi Senju is a Chuunin from Konohagakure.
Background
Introduction:
Masashi is born into the Senju clan, the second of three children. His Father, Senju Kazuki, is a skilled wind-style ninjutsu user. Senju Mayumi, his mother, is a healer and lightning-style ninjutsu user. His older brother Satoshi was killed in an ambush 3 years ago, and his younger brother Eizan who is currently a student in the academy. His family lives together in their family's home. Masashi, or Shi as his friends call him, lives in his own private residence.
The Early Years:
Masashi spent lots of his time growing up wishing to be a shinobi. He would play ninja all the time with other kids in the village. Even at a young age, his natural abilities were noticeable. He possessed a natural ability to control and shape chakra. His parents gave him an affinity test to see where his abilities lay. The paper ripped in two to show his skills favoured primarily towards his father, with wind(however there was some small wrinkling to show some potential with lightning). He spent a great deal of time working to perfect his latent abilities before being accepted into the academy at age 11.
The Ninja Academy:
The academy was a fun time for Masashi. The lessons challenged him and were exactly what he'd dreamed they'd be like. While he enjoyed his time at the Academy, it was relatively a short period of time. Within the span of a year, Masashi graduated and became a full-fledged Genin, a shinobi of the Leaf!
Genin Life:
It wasn't the most glamorous life that anyone could lead, but what do you expect for fresh Genin. Masashi and his new team did their missions to the best of their abilities. D-ranks for the most part, with the odd-C-rank thrown in when their squad leader felt they could handle it. Mashashi continued to distinguish himself as a capable shinobi, with sound tactics, a strong ability to inspire and lead, and excellent shinobi skills.
The Chuunin Exams:
Masashi wanted to move up, he felt him and the rest of the squad were ready for the Chuunin exams. His squad leader wasn't so sure. They worked well together, but his squad mates were lagging behind as far as skills were concerned. Masashi had some resentment for the delay, but he worked hard with his squad and the next year they took the exams. That began a string of bad luck for the squad. At the last Chuunin exams, they finished the first round flawlessly, the second round they were the third team to complete, beating their previous time by 2 days. The final round was a struggle, but Masashi stood out in his rounds of combat, soundly defeating his opponents. He finally made it, he became a chuunin!
Personality
Masashi is a calm, friendly individual, one to try and get along with anyone. He likes to joke around with friends and has a subtle sense of humour. He loves his family dearly and will protect them at all costs. He respects trust and confidence more than he does power, yet he does what he can to stand out and acquire power of his own.
As far as missions are concerned he is not above using more direct or unsavoury measures, given the situation. He will kill for his village without a second thought, especially if his friends or family are involved. Although his loyalty to the village is unwavering.
Appearance
Masashi is a tall, handsome ninja. He has short black hair that's spiked up and deep blue eyes, like sapphires. He is 6 foot 2 inches tall and 190 pounds. He has an athletic build, his body is well defined and fairly muscular for his size. His lightly tanned skin has no marks or scars. His one vanity is the stubble on his jawline, and the small, well-trimmed goatee on his chin.
He wears loose black pants and a mesh shirt. Over which he wears a sleeveless vest of metal scales in green and black. He wears various pouches on his arms and legs, and a belt of scrolls and pouches around his waist. He also wears several sheathes holding different kinds of swords or other bladed weapons. He also wears a black bandolier with several more pouches for scrolls and various tools, and 2 katanas strapped horizontally across the back. He has a chain of electrum around his neck with a black obsidian pendant in the shape of the Senju Clan's crest. and he wears his hitai-ate in the tradtional sense, on a band of black fabric around his forehead, the symbol of the Leaf etched in the centre.

April:
My first transformation technique: April 21st
A breakthrough finally! I've managed to master chakra shaping, and I can harness it into a physical form with the help of a pair of bracers I got specially crafted. They're made with a chakra metal that can be used as a base for weapons made of pure chakra. I can only form one blade using either one of my two bracers right now, but it gives me ideas of how I can develop it into stronger techniques. I've called this my wind blade technique
I need a stronger defense: April 22nd
It was time for me to look at coming up with a stronger defensive technique. Especially after the sparring session with Atorei. It showed me that I am severly outclassed right now in terms of what jutsu I have to use, especially as a chuunin. I need to improve, so its time to start working on a new protection. Perhaps if I combine my wind blade's ability to harness wind chakra into a physical form with my wind barrier's defensive potential to make a more comprehensive technique.
I have my defense: April 28th
It took a while, but I've managed to mesh the two techniques to make a stronger defensive skill. My wind dome technique will be able to give me a full protective barrier around me. Plus it opens the door for stronger defensive abilities, and it gives me ideas on how i can expand on my Wind Blade technique…I'll need to start experimenting before I lose my train of thought.
A Cloaked Figure appears: April 29th
That mission was rough..I hadn't expected the guy we fought to be that powerful. It's a good thing I managed to master my Wind Dome on the fly or I could have ended up in a body bag out there. I would like to know who that cloaked figure is. He caused a lot of death and destruction and he must be held accountable for their actions. I will need to get stronger if I want to help take him down should he ever show up again.
I wish we could have done more to help that village, but we were severely outclassed, even as a trio of chuunin. I will try to go back and help them rebuild and recover.

Tracking Just Got Easier: May 8
Finally after months of work I've finally come up with the way to improve my air currents technique. It works exactly as I wanted it to. It keeps me informed of just about anything in the area, not just when something crosses the border. Makes it an ideal technique for tracking and scouting areas now as opposed to air currents which was more of a perimeter alarm. I expect this will make hunting/tracking/scouting missions that much easier.
A 2nd Encounter: May 13
I wasn't prepared enough. I should have expected our adversary to return and to be just as powerful as they were before. Underestimating them caused my student to almost get killed, because of my foolishness. I will need to train harder. I can't allow mistakes like that to happen again. I will not be the reason my students are killed.
An Upgraded Transformation: May 16
I've finally come up with a way to have tangible chakra cohesively formed on both of the bracers on my arms. Right now its easier to form one in the original blade, and one in the shape of a shield. With this I have a constant offensive and defensive tool that are going to be better than contentional weapons, plus I can use them as a focus for my jutsu.
Joining ANBU: May 17
After a gruelling test spar with Hige, he found me fit to join ANBU. I'm glad that I was able to join this extremely powerful group of shinobi. I will do my best not to disappoint Hige for bringing me into the fold. So far nothing has really changed, and it's not something I can really discuss with a lot of people so I need to keep my excitement about it in private.

Returning Home: April 19th
It's been a long year, but I've learned alot about myself and my abilities while I was away. I do not regret a minute of my decision to head out on my journey of knowledge, nor would I change my decision. I know at last what I must do to better myself, and how I can better serve the village and the Hokage. I will continue to look forward and will work hard to get where I want to be.
Attacked by Kit: April 25th
Some little snot of a kid decided to attack me today. She's not from Konoha, and she the way she was talking makes me wonder about her upbringing. She spoke in sign, not a language she should have any knowledge of, yet there it was. I'm surprised she didn't have more fight in her than she did, but I'm glad it wasn't a protracted entanglement. Hopefully our interrogation team can get some answers out of her.
Kiji at the Gate: April 29th
My my, will wonders never cease. There must be a full moon. Kiji of Kiri came to the gates today, looking for Hige or Eremi. For what I have no clue, as it is surprising that someone who was only just recently removed from Konoha's bingo book would show up, with a lesser target in her custody. I hope she doesn't stick around to cause any trouble in the village, I don't think I would be able to take her down by myself.
Wind Lancer Troubles: April 30th
I'm finally getting somewhere with the technique I've been working on. I can build up the wind chakra in a tight spiral, but when I go to unleash it, the individual tendrils split off and go in separate directions. I'm missing something…but I don't know what it is. I'll need to talk to another wind-user to see if they can help me figure out what I'm doing wrong..

Some Unexpected help: April 1st
I was outside of Konoha, working on my latest jutsu, getting the same result that I normally do, when one of the lancer's tendrils almost hit a kunoichi from another village. Definitely not a really good first impression, but she was kind enough to accept my apology and help me work on my technique. With her help I think I've finally figured out how I can make this technique work. I definitely needed the assistance, and it will not be forgotten.
A Board game?: May 6th
I decided to go to the Ono Teahouse for a change. There is such a thing as too much ramen, but no one but you will hear that from me. I've been sitting for maybe three minutes when a couple familiar faces stop by. I haven't seen Zankuro in a long time, it was nice to see him. And Yagyu, she's popping up everywhere, not that it's unwelcome by any stretch. She brought a game with her, some form of role-playing game. We spent some time in the teahouse playing, it was a good distraction from our regular duties.
Dual Wind Blades, a go: May 7th
Now that I have another technique mastered, I think it's time to work on my next improvement on my wind blade style, activating two blades simultaneously. The Defensive benefits of the shield is excellent, but as an ANBU member, I should be focusing more on some offensive skills. Hopefully once I've gotten this under my belt, I'll be able to focus more energy on the areas I'm lacking…Only time will tell…Time to prep for our next mission.
