Kenta is part of a branch of the Tenjin clan living in the land of lightning. Kenta is a very talented genin from Kumogakure. He is always willing to learn something new with his jutsu. Once he had a taste of what his jutsus could do, he wants to learn more. Even though he's light hearted and friendly to others, he needs to be reminded of the ethics of his actions from time to time. His outlook on right and wrong is a bit skewered. For example, he finds no problem in subjecting the guilty and evil to one of his experiments if it advances his research. To him, the ends justifies the means. But he's not cold blooded, he is kind hearted, and he takes pity on those who will serve a greater purpose in the end.

"The world is like a garden. Plants and creatures thrive in the nourishment the world gives them. I fancy myself as the gardener in this world. I use those creatures and plants to my own benefit. But I would be selfish not to care for the garden I draw substance from. Pruning the unwanted weeds and pests from the garden should the need arrise. If the pests and weeds do not understand then it is not my concern. I still pity them for being in the way, but wouldn't think twice about stepping on a pest if it was harming your garden, would you?"

Kenta was born in Kumogakure, just as the village was forming. He was one of the first Tenjin, or anyone else for that matter, to be born here. His parents were wandering nin, both talented as Tenjin, but unwilling to fight in the war. They only wished for a place to stop wandering and raise their son. Kenta's childhood up to this point was rather common, but he has shown a large degree of talent with ninjutsu, even at a young age.

"Kenta is the last person you'd expect to find as a ninja. He's too easy going and uncomplicated unless subjected to stress. His studies at this point have been lackluster at best. It's not because he's unable to keep up with the work, but because the work can't keep up with Kenta. He is a brilliant student but too unmotivated to apply himself for various reasons. Perhaps a bit of real life once out of the academy is what he needs, assuming he passes. Kenta can be trouble sometimes as he has been known to skip out on classes and put himself in unnecessary danger often unintentionally. It is the advice of this evaluator that Tenjin Kenta is able to pass the academy, if he wants to. If he does, he's sure to become a top notch ninja, eventually."

This is a young ninja from Kumogakure in his early teens. His head is topped with a shaggy scalp of blond hair that could use a good cut. It reaches just past the ears in thick strands. Occasionally he has to brush the bangs back from covering his bright green eyes. They seem to soak in their surroundings and are always on alert for the minutest details. Under the eyes and around the nose are a few scattered red freckles that show up brightly against his thin facial features and light colored skin. Otherwise, his skin is of a light complexion with little to no blemishes, save for the freckles. His frame is thin and average but is usually covered by baggy clothes most of the time.

Right now, Kenta is in his most familiar outfit. He has on a brown shirt with a blue circle with a banzai tree over top on the back. Knee length dark khaki cargo shorts that covers a pair of fishnet leggings. Over top the brown shirt is a dirty white long coat commonly called a 'duster'. It reaches the knees and this style is quite billowy towards the bottom. The back of the coat shows the kanji for Kumogakure. The tail of the coat is slit to mid waist to allow Kenta to reach behind should he need something. Sticking out of the slit is the hilt of a small sword commonly called a kodachi, it's wood and wrapped leather handle sticks out through the slit just enough for Kenta to grab should he need it. Stitched into the sleeve of the coat is Kenta's forehead protector showing he's from the village hidden in the clouds. Inside the coat are several pouches and bags where he carries things he'll need out in the field.

Abilities

Kenta is skilled at ninjutsu at the level of a chuunin even during his days at the academy. The ninja shows a remarkable adaptability out in the field. His water manipulation is second to none in kumogakure as is his skill with herbalism and poisons. Kenta has already adapted both styles into 'Poison Water Combination: Poison Water Needle' attack and should combine more of his skills soon. With lack of anymore formal training from his clan, he is forced to improvise, one of his better qualities. However, the lack of physical skills is a drawback. If he's forced into hand to hand combat, he's likely to loose. To help with that disadvantage, Kenta has studied kenjutsu and picked a kodachi to carry. One of his greatest strengths however, is being part of team 01 with genin Hanma Hoiishime, Yamayuki Takeda, and Jounin Yamayuki Maia.
