Good-natured ninja and wandering artist, travelling the world in search of his father.
Background
Hei's father left the Toujitakumi clan, leaving him to be raised by his mother. His father, so the story goes, now travels the world as a wandering artist, and Hei, once he was old enough, trained to be a ninja so that he could do the same.
Personality

Appearance
This young man looks to be somewhere in his mid-teens, perhaps around fifteen or sixteen. Standing at a height of somewhere around 170cm, he has more or less an average build for his age, though he looks to be more athletic than most, and has a strong, toned looking body. He has a oval shaped face with warm green eyes, a smallish nose and a soft jaw. His skin is slightly tanned, though it appears that he is normally more fair-skinned, and would probably have a soft beige tone if he spent less time in the sun. His hair is golden-blonde, kept short and styled straight and spiky. Perhaps the most unusual feature of his appearance are the mouths he has on each hand, a mark of the Toujitakumi clan.
Hei's clothes do not seem to be designed with combat or travel in mind. In fact, he seems to be wearing somewhat traditional and formal clothes, including a scarlet kimono. He compliments this with a simple black obi and camel colour hakama. Over all of this, he wears a chocolate brown haori. This appearance is somewhat deceptive however. If one inspects them more closely, Hei's clothes are actually lighter and less cumbersome than they appear at first glance. The kimono, obi, and haori are all a single garment, and are carefully sewn together in order to move easily with the wearer. As for the hakama, it has been carefully altered, subtly tightened around the legs so as not to be so bulky, and loosened at the center so that the legs can easily move independent of each other. Underneath the haori, Hei has concealed some ninja equipment: a kunai holster, an equipment pouch, and a large leather satchel. On his feet are a pair of woven grass zori.
Timeline
Age 1 - Hei's father leaves the Toujitakumi clan to wander the world as an artist
Age 13 - Hei leaves the clan to pursue his father, becoming a wandering artist himself
Age 16 - Hei visits Sunagakure in his travels for the first time; while there he adopts Sasaki Imota as a brother
