Uchiha Tobikuma is new to the shinobi world and is working as a Genin of Konohagakure in hopes of making a name for himself while protecting his beliefs.
Background
Tobikuma was born to the Uchiha Clan around twelve years ago. Due to his young age, he does not remember much of the Clan-Wars, except for the memories of his relatives going out on various battles and leaving him behind to train in the ways of the shinobi. The young boy started training around the age of five; shortly before the Uchiha and Senju became allies and formed Konohagakure.
Even though Tobikuma is an Uchiha, he does not feel any kind of hatred toward the Senju as most of his older relatives do, and in fact, he has a strong desire to work hard for everyone in the village without regard for clan or country of origin. The boy's training took seven years to complete and he recently was promoted to the rank of Genin on his twelfth birthday. During these seven years, he learned the basics of combat and even learned his clan's 'Coming of Age' jutsu: the Great Fireball Technique.
Personality
Tobikuma is generally a friendly and approachable pre-teen, wanting to be on good terms with all of his fellow Konohagakure shinobi. He does have a ton of pride for his clan, however, he constantly makes sure that doesn't get in the way of his duties as a shinobi and how he acts toward his allies. When it comes to training, he's a worker, practicing rigorously, but when not training, or performing a mission for the village, he's usually relaxing or hanging out with his friends. Tobikuma is a strong believer in loyalty, and as such defends his friends and family with all the effort he can muster.
Despite all of this, he is still a twelve year old boy and his personality is still developing, and it has been shown he can be modest in certain situations, but confident as well.
Appearance
This boy stands at five feet and two inches in height. His body is fairly immature as it has yet to undergo puberty, however, it holds a ton of potential which can be seen by a bit of lean muscle if one looks hard enough. A pair of dark-blue eyes rest proportionally on his youthful, untouched face and the girls around his age would view his look as being 'cute'. Finally, to top off his physical appearance, is the typical hair color of his clan; Black. The style of his hair is medium-length and a single bang hangs over the fore-head protect wrapped around his head.
The typical attire of a shinobi from his clan is worn, however, there are some differences. The high-collared jacket is pure-white in color and can be closed-up using a zipper. It is usually zipped up to about the area under his chest which causes the high-collar to hang far enough away from the lower part of his face to be comfortable. On the back of this jacket is the symbol of the Uchiha Clan and is easily viewed as it is large. A dark blue shirt is worn underneath, though, the fabric around the collar of the shirt is in a fish-net style. A pair of dark blue cargo shorts are worn on his lower half and tabi shoes of the same color are worn on his feet.

Notes |
Uchiha Shosuke |
Father |
Uchiha Shosuke is a loving and guiding father. He attempts to help his son at every turn; Helping him train and providing information that his son might ask about. |
Uchiha Ai |
Mother |
Despite this woman's name she is rather stern, but does love her son. Where Uchiha Shosuke is the lenient parent, Uchiha Ai is the strict one. She can be over-bearing at times, but she wishes the best for her son which is why she expects high marks in anything he does. |

Notes |
Uchiha Naru |
Senpai |
Naru is an Uchiha just like himself and they met each other shortly after the two-on-three fight Ryuunosuke and he had against three Genin in Toshiba Forest. She is his senpai and offered to help him when she can. This girl brought him on his first mission, as well, and it appears he might have a small crush on her. |
Senju Ryuunosuke |
Best Friend? |
This boy is the first friend Tobikuma made since becoming a Genin and the first Senju he has befriended. They met in the Training Grounds of Toshiba Forest while Ryuunosuke was fighting three other Genin at once. He helped the Senju Genin and they have become friends since then and Tobikuma is grateful for this. |
Inuzuka Atsuro |
Sensei? |
This Chuunin is interesting, albeit arrogant, but in their encounter Tobikuma remained unflappable and friendly… despite trying to screw with the Genin and making a stereotypical comment about the Uchiha; Which threw off the Inuzuka. They had a verbal spar, of sorts. He made a comment about recruiting the young boy for his team. Who knows what will happen between these two in the future. |
Inuzuka Taiki |
Teammate? |
This is another Chuunin he had run into at the same time as Atsuro. This teenager is part of Atsuro's team. Tobikuma found it interested he had two nin-dog instead of one. He also wonders if this person has something going on with his senpai; Uchiha Naru. Of course, he heard something like this from Atsuro, so he has to remember the source. |

Nindo Journal
It has finally happened! I am no longer a student of Konoha, but a Genin. The graduation ceremony is in four hours and I'm nervous, but excited. It's been seven years of blood, sweat, and tears; It's finally time to put on that forehead protector. It's time to become a shinobi. I'll be back in six hours, Journal.
*Six Hours Pass*
I'm back Journal and the Graduation Ceremony is over. I have my forehead protect and it's wrapped around my head right now! My parents are proud and my mom said I'm going to be able to go out in the village whenever I want. That means I can train whenever I want with other Genin and make some friends. It might be awhile until you see me again, Journal, but I'll definitely be back with some more things to write about. See-you later.
Hey, Journal. It's been a month since I last wrote. A lot has happened since then. I have been trying to learn a ninjutsu called the Body Flicker. It's taking me a little bit to learn it, but its not really my fault! I ended up meeting one of my seniors from the clan; Uchiha Naru. She asked me to show her what I could do, so I had to fight her. I ended up getting hurt, so I had to rest for a bit. Then a girl named Suzume who is a medic-nin, who also healed me in the hospital, ended up starting a battle royal which took up a little of my training time. Anyway…
…Enough of those excuses. I have made a couple friends too. The first one is Senju Ryuunosuke. He is pretty cool and we ended up becoming friends after I helped him fight against three other Genin. It was three against one, so you know me; I just had to jump in and help. Uchiha Naru is another person I think of as a friend, but she is also my Senpai and is helping me train. I can't wait to train some more with her. Finally, there is Uzumaki Suzume. She healed me after my fight with Naru-senpai and then started a battle royal like I mentioned earlier. She is pretty nice and a little energetic…but I guess so am I when it comes to certain things, right? I have to go for now. Mom is calling me to eat to dinner, but I'll be back with some more stories in about another month, I hope. See you later, Journal!
Well, Journal, it has been one month since I last wrote to you, but two months since becoming a Genin and I'm still having a lot of fun being a shinobi. I'm very close to finishing the Body Flicker training, but the most exciting news is… I went on my first mission and it was with Naru-senpai! It was exciting and there was a mix-up involved. A medical Jounin from Kumogakure, Nagamura Shuuren, has been supplying restaurants in Konoha with food, but a group of bandits stole the caravan. Those same bandits came to Konoha disguised as merchants and asked the Hokage for an escort to Fuuma Valley due to fear of bandit attacks, so Naru-senpai and I were given the mission.
To make a long story short, Journal, the truth was revealed and Shuuren-san and another Chuunin with him, Uzumaki Akechi, came back to Konoha with us to clear up everything. Shuuren-san is a strange shinobi…he wears a suit! He seems likes a good person, though, and Uzumaki Akechi seems like a good person too. Naru-senpai praised me because I felt like something was wrong with the situation…I think I have a cru…never mind! Anyway, that was about a week or two ago, but just the other day I ran into Ryuu-san during my weekly visits to the memorial statue. Sadly, both his parents died during the Clan Wars, and it was against the Uchiha Clan. We talked for a little bit about life and the departed, and I feel like it made our friendship a little bit stronger.
Oh! On a more happy note. Last night, I met two Inuzuka Chuunin in the Training Area of Toshiba Forest while training the Body Flicker. Inuzuka Atsuro-senpai, the older one and leader of their team, I think was trying to mess with me. He was about to pick up my jacket that was hanging on a tree branch, but I used Body Flicker to get closer. He seemed interested and entertained with me, and I found him interesting too, but a little arrogant. He seems like a good guy, though, and loyal to the village. He did make a stereotypical comment about the Uchiha, though, and I almost lost my cool, but I took a deep breath… and guess what? My pride didn't get the best of me. I just told him it was cool and that I heard Inuzuka smell like wets dogs while wearing a smile. Apparently, I'm his match or something. Then there is Inuzuka Taiki, the younger one. I think he has feelings for Naru-senpai…but I only think that because of Atsuro-senpai's comment. It could've been a joke. Oh, he has two nin-dogs too which was kind of cool. Anyway, Journal, I have to run. See you later!
Hey, Journal. It’s been a month since I wrote to you and it took me about a week after getting back to the village to write to you because of my emotions. I’ll explain everything to you now….
…Shortly after writing to you last time, I finished training the Body Flicker and continued my research on the old style of Katon Kenjutsu created by one of my ancestors. I learned there is no blacksmith in Konohagakure that deals with the chakra metal required for the blade used in the style, so I continued to research and heard a rumor about a blacksmith in Kadomai who uses the material. I went to Kadomai the next day and thought I found the blacksmith shop, but when I entered the huge man seemed mad that I interrupted him during his work. He was super big and looked strong, so I remembered my manners and remained polite, but it didn’t seem to work. That’s when a Jounin from my village walked in; luckily.
The blacksmith told me this Jounin would know about chakra metal, so I asked him about it. That’s when I found out the rumor was wrong and the chakra metal being used already belonged to someone; The Jounin. His name is Oirichi Soyu and he was having the blacksmith refine the blade, I guess. We talked for a little bit and I explained why I needed the metal. You’ll never guess what happened next, Journal! Oirichi Soyu-sensei offered to train me in the basics of kenjutsu and offered to take me on a field week. He said if we find anymore chakra metal that I can have it for my blade!
Well, we went on the field week and everything was going well, Journal, but then something horrible happened about four days into it. The mission that Oirichi-sensei was on turned out to be a trap of some kind and we had to fight two people. A river of mud was separating us. I had to fight a cloaked enemy who was posing as a merchant and sensei had to fight the person posing as a bodyguard of the merchant. It wasn’t that long of a fight, but my enemy got the upper-hand and slammed me against the mountain used a suiton ninjutsu…That’s when it happened, Journal. My clan’s blood-line limit, The Sharingan, awakened.
I felt so much stronger with the Sharingan. I was able to see the smallest details and I was able to hold my own with the enemy, but sensei appeared and defeated him for me…This part is hard for me to…write, but sensei… died that day. He passed away right in front of me and there was nothing I could do. He gave me his final order and that was to deliver a scroll to Hokage-sama, tell her what happened that day, and then he gave me his katana. He has asked me to keep it safe…and I plan to do so. I cried a little bit after his death despite knowing him only for a little bit, but that short time told me a lot about him as a person and as a shinobi. He was willing to teach me while performing a mission and even passed his blade onto me. Oirichi Soyu-sensei did a lot for me in that short amount of time and I will never forget him. I’m going to learn my ancestor’s katon kenjutsu style so sensei’s death isn’t in vain, Journal. In fact, I'm going to go train with the blade now. See you later…

Theme Songs
This song represents how Tobikuma feels about the Uchiha and Senju Clan. His parents told him how it was during the Clan Wars and it burned an ever-lasting image in his mind. He is happy the clans have united under the flag of Konohagakure and feels the two need to pick up the pieces and rebuild for the sake of the village.
The game being life as a shinobi(In the very least literal meaning of the word game) and the protection of the village; this song shows just how Tobikuma feels about Konohagakure. It shows the pride he holds for the village, his clan, and his allies; Along with what he feels will partly raise the village to the top.
This would, essentially, be the song that would play when Tobikuma gets intensely serious and that is usually when his village, clan, or friends are threatened too many times for his liking. The young boy enters a silent rage, speaking few words; All the while aiming to eliminate what has brought this side of him to the surface. This side of him is pretty hard to bring forth with his current personality.
