Hailing from the Land of Whirlpools comes Uzumaki Isra. She's an excitable sort with a lot of spunk and a bright personality. This is in contrast with her history which hasn't left much room for her personality to be the way it is, but she's managed, always looking to be the optimist.

She started life in the Land of Whirlpools amongst her kin the Uzumaki during the Clan Wars. Her life was relatively stable, but the wars touched everyone and the clan was not free from the harm and conditions brought about from opposing factions. When the battles drew to close to home, it was time to leave. Her parents, raised in the way of the Uzumaki, took some time to think over their options of what they wished to do. Stay or go, the odds still looked slim, so they had to leave their fate to chance and move away from the village. The trip was arduous at times, fights occurred in spurts along the way. The group that they left with dwindled from time to time, but ultimately managed to make their way through. Along the way, Isra watched closely and learned to use seals, observing the fights taking place between her family and others. When she thought her parents were about to die in a particularly dark battle, she rushed out of hiding against their will and proceded to use a high level seal that she'd grown familiar with to dry out their opponent of all chakra. Her parents survived, but it came at the cost of her receiving a stab wound from being exposed.

She'd recover well enough from the wound thanks to the care of the group they were still with, but was harshly scolded not to do anything of the sort again. The feeling of guilt was counteracted with praise for saving the lives of her parents and other fighters as well as using such a strong seal, but that was the first and probably last time she'd do something like that. At least, until she'd grown familiar with it in the future. Some months passed since that event and more battles happened. Isra took time to study from the shadows in hiding with the other children, having grown bolder and promising to protect them should enemy ninja find them. She'd inspired hope and a sense of comfort with them since she used that seal before. They were hoping she'd be able to do it again should the need come for it. Luckily, it didn't happen and the group experienced less problems the more they travelled since the wars were drawing to a close. They'd begin to part their separate ways and Isra's family would wind up settling in the Land of Water in the newly founded Kirigakure.

It's here that Isra and her family settled and began new life. Her parents had more children and she would begin her career as a shinobi, excelling quickly with her intense dedication and desire to learn. In all, she felt that being a ninja gave her the opportunity to express herself and work with her abilities to the fullest extent and that's exactly what she managed to do. Eventually, she'd grow to be a chuunin and in that time also extended her skills to include scrolls to her repertoire. Life's good for her now, despite the condition Kirigakure is in. She intends to work toward the prosperity of the village all while improving herself. Downtime is a must though. Sometimes, it's best to just kick back and relax every once in a while.

Personality

Isra is self-confident and excitable, quite the optimist and is an all around bright individual. She's easily dedicated and extremely focused when it comes down to tasks requiring execution and completion. Despite being full of spunk, she enjoys her peace and quiet time, growing frustrated when its interrupted and if serious enough, prompting strikes of revenge against whoever thought to tread upon it.

Appearance

At a height of 5'0, Isra is not much to look at as far as tallness, but this is only due to the clan's unusual longevity. She won't be growing taller until she's older. Her head is cleanly shaven, except for a bright red orange mowhawk going straight down the center. The strands may sometimes hang down in her face, but nothing enough to obscure vision. Matching eyebrows sit above bold, garnet orange eyes.

Her form is fit, toned and muscular in a feminine fashion, of course. She wears a grey flack jacket with her clan symbol on the back overlain with the Kirigakure symbol in a unique fashion. It's made specifically for having the instruments necessary to write on seals and scrolls. A bandolier is wrapped around her waist, each of the slots containing scrolls. Fatigue pants finish off the ensemble, matching the color of the grey flak jacket. Underneath said jacket is a long sleeved, black shirt.

Wrapped around her leg is a pouch which carries other ninja tools necessary for her trade and sandals cover up her feet, standard issue. On her hands are a pair of grey, fingerless gloves. Tied around her neck is the forehead protector, glistening with the emblem of Kirigakure.
