Summary:
Recent reports have come about of bandits who are using advanced fire ninjutsu, though strangely enough non chakra is being to create them.

Border between Tea and Fire
It seems like a peculiar flavor of bandit has reared it's ugly head in tea. There wasn't any unnatural chakra usage that would really tip the Daimyo off to suspicious activities until the reports came in. They all said the same thing. It was clearly fire-release ninjutsu! In fact, this bandit clearly called out the names of common jutsu before using them. Yet, for some reason, no chakra was detected ever being used. This was a call for concern because it threatened trade, and no one ever lives long in Tea of the seek to threaten it. The place of origin was near the border of the Land of Fire, along an area of unremarkable forest lining a path built in for inland trade benefits. This particular stretch of land was known as the 'Path from Parch to Plenty' because a long time ago the Land of Tea was far more poor than it was and the Land of Fire was always more rich. Then, it was a path were poor farmers of tea would make their way to the markets of the Land of Fire's Capitol. Now, it's the opposite. It's still worthy of it's name, only farmers are starting to come from the Land of Fire…
The threat bandits pose are very low, so Ryuusei was invited to practice real-combat scenarios. She brought her blade along, as always, and was growing more wary as the ambush area approached. Her mission, along with Mika's (Who was acting supervisor of the mission) was to take a fake carriage and bring it to this area as a trap to bring the bandits out of hiding. Inside the carriage? Why. It was the Daimyo himself, who was around to bail the two out of things got dicey. Shouldn't be too bad. "We are… a mile from the reported area…" Ryuusei says as she looks at a map. "Or are we fifty miles? I… I don't know how to read this thing… It barely has any words…"
Fire jutsu without chakra use… Some might be baffled, but Shuuren can think of a number of ways to do that himself. Most easy would be using some sort of oil or other flammable material that can be contained within the mouth without actually causing any damage to oneself before spewing it out to blow flames. Neat parlor trick, but only dangerous to the untrained. Still, these men can't be alerted that Shuuren himself is coming, thus the work of getting him to the position is left to Ryuusei and Mika, and the Daimyo is able to just sit in his carriage and enjoy a glass of tea while he waits for them to get where they're going.
Mika eyes Ryuusei a little bit as she takes the map. "…Who gave you this map? And did you ever learn to read scales?", the woman asks from inside her robe. Ryuusei has yet to see Mika out of her robe. Shuuren likely has told Ryuusei that it is rare for those of her tribe to be out of their robes unless they're fighting. The woman sighs.
"When we get back, you're sitting down, and I will go over maps, scales, and trading with you. As well as how to keep a proper inventory.", she tells the young woman. "And we're…about 10 miles from the site.", she says.
Ryuusei would let out a sight of relief. "Oh. Ten miles? Then we should have nothing to worry about." Ten miles away from the central area where the attacks usually occur. Yet that's just the average. They are clearly in danger because the bandits are actually moving in. Ryuusei removes her hand from her hilt and raises her hands behind her head. "So…. M-mika-san… Uh… Do you… know any good places that I could shop for clothing?" She asks. "W-where do you go around the city? J-just…"
Suddenly, in front of the group, a line of fire forms that would stop the carriage from moving forward. "AHA! FIRE RELEASE! RUNNING FIRE!" Called an interesting sounding individual, whom quickly disposes of the flint he was using. The man who appeared was wearing white and red make-up, and looked more like a toy merchant that had seen better days. "Fools! You have fallen into my trap! I am an elite Jounin from the Hidden Leaf Village! If you knew what was good for you, you'd drop your coins! Ah… Oh! Look at all of this too! I suppose you could also drop a few other things, ladies! Hah! Well. If you aren't convinced of your dire predicament, allow me to show you… Fire Ninjutsu! He grabs a few round balls with fuses. They were clearly fireworks. "Fire Release: Spectral Fire Technique!" He would roll the fireworks towards Mika and Ryuusei. They roll through the line of burning oils, catching on fire themselves, before bursting at the bodyguards' feet!

Watching from within the carriage, Shuuuren lifts an eyebrow as he spots the man doing his 'jutsu'… This is actually weaker than he thought. Fireworks? At least the guy's got some kind of flair, but he's definitely not anywhere near as strong as he's proclaiming. Still, it should be interesting just to watch for now and see how Ryuusei and Mika react to this situation.

Mika just looks at at Ryuusei, and rolls her eyes. "Stay here….This won't take me long…", she says. The woman jumps down, and easily dodges the fireworks. She starts walking towards the man. "Ok…I'll drop something…", she says. As Mika approaches, she drops her robe…and Ryuusei would see a cat like being walking towards the Jounin in question. No, its not a genjutsu, nor is it any trick. Its a cat person walking towards him…flexing her claws….

Ryuusei was not so quick on the dodge, and would soon be overwhelmed by sparks and smoke, coughing heavily. "Aaah!? What kind of technique uses… wild sparkly… wait a minute…" Yeah, that was just child's play. Ryuusei was barely singed. She drew her bronze-colored sword anyways, a -little- unsure that this man was actually of any merit.
"Ahahah… ha?" The man stopped laughing as Mika slowly and menaciling approached. "Wait a minute! Y-you look like an animal spirit or something! I happen to be a very -very- superstitous individual! Thus, I brought these!" He would pull out what looked like old-fashioned ghost warding tags… "Take this!" He would throw those tags at Mika!

Since Ryuusei and Mika seem to recognize how much of a non-threat this guy is, Shuuren just smirks and waits to see what they do about it. Of course, when the man starts trying to ward off the evil cat spirit, he chuckles and shakes his head. Best to just enjoy his tea and watch the show for now.

Mika just blinks before her tail just swats the paper out of the air. The woman just shakes her head as she moves in. "….Surrender now.", she says. The woman growls a bit from her throat. She just kicks the ground, sending a cloud of dirt at the guy…He's not a threat. "…Get! SHoo! Bad wannabe! Shoo! Go on now! Get!", she says, still kicking dirt at him…
Ryuusei would take a moment to grunt, and pout that this was just all a stage act. "So… you're telling me that the other people that were robbed by you were absolutely stupid?" Ryuusei wasn't quite as amused as everyone else thanks to the burns on her from the fireworks. "Something doesn't feel right Mika-san…"
Meanwhile the man whom was rather quite a joke would drop to his knees. "L-look! I'm sorry! I… I'm just trying to earn my brother's respect! H-he's the real bandit! I-I'm just a pyromaniac! Come on..! Spare me! I… I'm the worst person around, but… I wouldn't hurt a fly, if it didn't have any money! Pleeease!?"

Well, he didn't feel his begging was going well enough, so he reached down and grabbed a string. "I… I'll just have to call my brother! Hyeh! You'll see. He's the greatest shinobi to ever live! He said if I was ever in trouble, all I needed to do was pull this string and he'd be there! Just watch!" So, the man pulls some white string on the ground. It was attached to a shorter man whom was sleeping against the tree. That man appears to get up. He was not in make-up. He did not look like a slouch. He had a headband on his head, one that would likely be unidentifiable by Ryuusei. It was a headband from the Hidden Craftman's village, likely someone whom was missing-nin from that village. He had on a fancy hat. That was all that was noteworthy about him. He stood up, and and twisted his fancy hat on backwards as he moved onto the road. "Hey… He's my brother." It appears this individual could use ninjutsu, or… well… Perhaps a strange form of taijutsu. He raised his arms in front of him, and aimed them at Mika. Then with a flick of the wrist, dangerous looking flames appeared from his sleeves.

It all seems like fun and games until that other guy shows up. As he sees that gun, he reaches into his coat pocket and withdraws a pill of some sort, which he quickly swallows. While he doesn't have the time to get in the way of Mika being barbecued, which she can hopefully avoid, he does go right at this man with blades of chakra around his hands as he appears behind him and literally goes to try and chop his arms off at the shoulders.

Mika mutters a few times as she keeps walking, thinking its a joke. She yells out as she's hit with actual flames…The cat does not like this. She hisses very loudly, as her claws dig large groves in the ground. "Can I kill him?", she asks.
Ryuusei found the fact that Mika was only a little singed a little funny… She actually decides to step in. "Mika-chan… Y-you're okay! Great! I guess that means I can actually do something… Here I go!" Ryuusei would charge towards the shinobi, whom appears to be pressing a button somewhere on his person.

All the while, as the less experienced brother seems to dive into a nearby ditch, he himself burned by his own brother's attack! The betrayal. Seeing Ryuusei and the Daimyo come at him, the brother felt that at this rate he would likely be killed or incapacitated. Mika would miss her chance! Or would she? The man quickly presses a special button on his chest. One that activates an emergency defense! He quickly moved his arms towards the ground and suddenly all of the fuel in his flamethrower was expelled at such force it lifted him off the ground!

The man narrowly missed a punishing chakra blade from Shuuren that would have likely been the end of him, and a tickling strike from the girl with the dull-looking weapon. As he skidded across the ground to a halt about fifty yards away from Shuuren and Ryuusei, he tipped his hat to them. Of course, that was -all- he could do!

When the man actually manages to evade that, Shuuren lifts an eyebrow… Impressive, but probably the best the man can do. And his attacks don't seem to do that much damage. Reaching into his coat, he withdraws a syringe and throws it at the man, intending for it to jab into him and inject some rather vicious toxins into him.
So…Mika is a very upset kitten right now. He singed her. This annoys a Mika Cat. Annoyed Mika cats are dangerious to genins health. There's even a Tea Daimyo warning about annoying Mika Cats. One second…Mika is standing there. The next, she's gone into Hypercat flurry! Its hard to keep track of the cat. Just that she's really cutting loose a bit on said Kage….

Ryuusei couldn't make up the distance like Mika and Shuuren, so she remains stationary as Mika and Shuuren move in for the finishing blows!

The Missing-Nin was struck with both attacks, his mechanics not working properly. Combined with an increasingly bad acid trip and a flurry of chakra-fueld claws, the man not only falls… but his hat is completely ruined! Two bandits of different skills were defeated completely, and the roads would be safe again once these two individuals were dragged into proper confinement!
Watching as Mika goes into annihilation mode, Shuuren chuckles a bit. "Shouldn't mess with a cat if you're not ready to deal with the claws," he says before flickering over to her. "Let's get back to the village. No using kicking a dead horse. I'll have my soldiers pick them up and lock them up… if they survive."
The Mika Cat purrs a bit as she nuzzles into the hand a bit. She snuggles up close, and just seems so mcuh like a very…large kitten at the moment…
