"Give it All You've Got! Child of the furious blade!"
Konoha Genin Training field, TA #26
Oskeo:
Oskeo was found standing in the clearing of the Genin Training area, methodically spinning his hands around his body and breathily laughing callouts as he wove signs into his motions, lifting fins of water around him as he spun, and forming them into floral serfs and lashing them out at the air around him. Taking notice to the approach of a familiar ninja, he staggered to a stop and hailed, "Ah, there you are. I imagine you're here to hold me to the challenge upon which we agreed?" A smile stretched wide across Oskeo's round face.
Aranagi:
Aranagi notes the dislpay of water works and gives a fatigued sort of cough. "Yeah, I suppose we're both here for that reason, no point in wasting time." he says with a smile. Aranagi then bends down and tightens his shoelaces, stands, then tightens the knot on the string holding his hair in a pony tail. "This should be interesting…" he thinks to himself, drawing his nodachi from the long sheath on his back. "Ready when you are!"
Akinori:
Akinori slowly places himself onto the bench, drawing from a cigarette as he carefully examines the fight. Ready as he is he is able to jump in whenever things get too much out of hand.
"Play nice you two"
Oskeo:
With a nod up at Akinori, Oskeo crouches into a flamboyant lunging stance and sings out to his opponent, "I warn you, lad: I will not lose!"
Weaving a tiger sign into a turning flourish, Oskeo lifts a sphere from the water at his feet, and pushes it forth in a gushing mess towards Aranagi. "Water Style:" he echoes, "Heavy Splash jutsu!"
Aranagi:
Water flies toward Aranagi as he leaps to the side, avoiding the mass, and rolling up to his feet. "Nice move, almost got my hair wet." He says with a grin, then readies his blade infront of his face in a traditional manner. "Don't hold back, cause I sure wont!" He says, as he dashes at his opponent before leaping into the air right above Oskeo. As he descends on his opponent, he unleashes a two swing slashing combo with his blade.
Akinori:
Akinori slightly exhales a mixture of ash and smoke, chuckeling on how clumsy both of the individuals fight.
Oskeo:
"Water Style:" Oskeo echoes, lifting water from the pool beneath him with a superfluously motioned snake sign, "Splash Guard Jutsu!" Aranagi's first trike broke against the rising current, which dispersed to make way for his second strike. Oskeo's smile crawled against one side of his face as he winced at the sting of the blade as he caught it with a wide swing of his forearm. "As you wish!" he laughed, cheerily, as the scattered water reformed above his opponent's head. "Is it in need of a washing?"
Aranagi:
Aranagi looks up at the pool of water above his head and leaps back as it splashes on the ground. "Such an interesting style of fighting, Oskeo.." he says quietly. "I can't underestimate his ability.. It obviously has the potential of being powerful, and he weaves the water so carefully…" He thinks to himself, examining his opponent. "Time to step it up." Aranagi spins the blade in his hands as chakra flows through his body into his palms. The spinning comes to a halt as the sword stops stiff lined up between Aranagis eyes, with the tip pointed at Oskeo. Teeming with chakra energy, he thrusts toward his opponent for a three strike combo.
Akinori:
Akinori slowly stands up, exhaling the final remains of ash and smoke from his lungs. He walks off out of the area only shouting the following words.
"If one of you ends up dead tomorrow, I will hunt the other one down and bring him in for justice!"
Oskeo:
With a candid, "Ow," Oskeo stumbles back as the sword catches his side. "Don't worry- Akinori!" Oskeo cries after the departing ninja around an alkward backwards hop which successfuly places him out of reach of Aranagi's second thrust, "I just said I wouldn't l- ooops!" Improperly dispersing his weight as he lands his hop, Oskeo finds himself wheeling his arms and threatening to topple backwards. Reaching forward to throw his weight and steady himself, he manages to also pull himself acurrent of his opponent's last strike. Quickly ducking his head and lifting a snake sign to his chest, Oskeo draws a wave up from his puddle to push Aranagi off course. Opening one eye, and then the other, Oskeo breathes a sigh of relief, and let's his long arms hang near to the ground.
Aranagi:
Still fearsome of his opponents water manipulating ability, Aranagi looks to end things with Oskeo. "Hehe, nice dodge, Oskeo!" he exclaims, he then sheaths his blade and leaps into one of the above trees, hoping to find coverage or atleast momentum for his next offense.
Oskeo:
Oskeo lifts his head curiously and let his arms hang where they are, croaking emphatically, "Excuse me, but are you trying to hide?" Clapping his left hand to his right in a quick tiger sign, and quickly flicking his right to Aranagi's perch, Oskeo purses his lips and ingratingly chides, "Spwish spwash jusu!" The puddle at his feet swells and spits a rapid mass of water off into the trees.
Aranagi:
Oskeo's water sends Aranagi flying out of the tree with a great deal of force, as well as some branches. Aranagi takes the opportunity to gain some momentum and hits the ground dashing straigh for Oskeo. "You're gonna wish you hadn't done that!" He exclaims with a slight laugh, as he draws the Nodachi from it's sheath with feirce speed. He swings it out to the side, and leaps through the air at Oskeo, with a spin, hoping to slice Oskeo with his tornado-like onslaught.
Oskeo:
Blinking intermittently, Oskeo remains still as Aranagi blazes his approach. Responding to the motion of Oskeo slowly lifting a snake sign as he nears, the puddle at his feet roars up and pushes past Aranagi, holding him in place just out of reach. As the puddles settles again around Aranagi's feet, Oskeo raises an inquisitive finger. "Excuse me," he laughs, nervously, "but afterall it was you who suggested we go all out," his long arms bow at his sides in a wide shrug, "unless I am mistaken?"
Aranagi:
Arnagi jumps back to gain some distance between him and Oskeo once more, "No no! You're absolutely right, I'm enjoying myself, it's refreshing to go toe to toe with an opponent such as yourself, rather unpredictable." he says with a grin, as he stretches his blade above his head and channels chakra into his arms again. "This one might sting a little so prepare yourself!" He leaps foward at his opponent again, aiming to slash twice at his torso and land the hilt of his blade on the chest of Oskeo.
Oskeo:
"Ooh," Oskeo coos, nodding his head apprehensively. Raising the snake sign he hadn't yet dropped, Oskeo bears into the first slash with his gathered forearms before lifting a puddle wave and another to recieve the next two attacks. "…just cheking!" he finished, before turning his sign over into a tiger sign and pressing a volley of waves forth at the excited genin.
Aranagi:
Aranagi leaps through the first wave of water with ease, but as the second wave catches his foot, it sends him landing right into the third, pounding his face with an agressive wet slap. He gets up from the ground and squeezes the water out of his hair, before picking up his Nodachi from the ground. He enters the traditional sword fighting stance, with a tight grip on his blade. "It's time to end this…" He thinks to himself. He channels as much chakra as he can into his blade and rushes toward Oskeo, making three wild slashes at him.
Oskeo:
Maintaining his beweildered half smile and reticent stance, Oskeo rolls his hands back into a snake sign and catches the first two swings in splashing waves, then bends his knees and hops reticently backwards, out of reach. Without otherwise moving, Oskeo slowly lifts his chin, then drops it in a pointed nod, stating, "Right." A smile curls across his face as he drops his still expression. "Is that the 'end,' then?"
Aranagi:
Aranagi coughs and wheezes as he gains his composure. "Yeah… That's all I got left in me" He says, laughing. "Besides, I'm soaking wet, I gotta change these clothes before I catch a cold." Aranagi extends a handshake to Oskeo
Oskeo:
Oskeo Nods cheerily and reaches his snake sign out to 'bite' Aranagi's hand before unfolding into a friendly and enthusiastic two-handed shake. "I promised I wouldn't lose, but I wouldn't say I won, either. I wouldn't!" Oskeo hops back and bows deeply. "If you need me, I will remain here to practice, so that I may put on an even more grand show for you in the near future." He beams. "Look forward to it!"
