Summary:
Sakuryu comes across another Iwanin with an explosive personality. Sakuryu ends up getting the best of her before the girl passes out due to the pain of Sakuryu's attacks. Sakuryu wins the scroll.

Forest of Death
There is a tall, lanky girl standing in the middle of the opening. She isn't really moving much, so the reason for her to stand there is unkown. The time of day is dusk, as the sun dips below the horizon of the trees of the Forest of Death. The shadows play all sorts of tricks, especially across the girl just standing there.
Sakuryu, from her canopy perch spies the lanky girl with a little hum. "Strange….is this a trap?" She murmurs gently before looking around the area for wires, bombs, other such items. "This is weird…." She carefully trots across the canopy, using chakra to step quieter while she watches

It is hard to tell if the girl notices Sakuryu or not. She's barely moving. The situation certainly is suspicious, so it could very well be a trap. While Sakuryu's eyes are peeled on the girl though, the girl suddenly explodes. Yes, explodes. It is a flashy explosion, and that doesn't mean it was meant to blind. The explosion has sparkles in it! As the sparkles fly out, so too does the shrapnel. The trap was laid and the bait took a bite it seems.

Sakuryu gasps as she sees the explosion, her body quickly flashing to her inherited form, though the transformation and her handsigns were not quick enough, some of the shrapnel tearing through her first ice clone to hit her, though luckily her second is formed in time to take the brunt of the attack. "I'm assuming this is a mark of war!" She says before quickly forming the familiar handsigns forming her arsenal of icy rain before throwing a field of Needles and roses to the area where the girl stood in a fury.

The girl down below is no longer there. She exploded. Still, when those ice-needles are thrown in and around the area that the explosion came from…a few hit their mark by accident. The girl was lying down-near the trap, and a rocky clone tried to cover her, but to no avail. The ice-needles pierce her body in a few places and she immediately pops up and starts to actually move. With the target on foot, the next round of ice-needles and rose miss her, but barely. The girl pulls out a kunai and throws it towards Sakuryu. It explodes as it flies through the air. In the chaos of the explosion, the lanky girl throws out two more kunai to be masked in the haze of the first kunai.

Sakuryu gasps, the explosion hits her wind barrier and barely hits her but still does damage as she huffs and dodges out of the way, the kunai itself hitting nothing but a clone. She looks at the girl before narrowing her eyes. "Rain of needles!" she giggles to herself a bit, she couldn't resist with this position letting down another heavy rain of needles, though instead of the hidden rose this attack instead hid an alterior motive, the pulse of chakra into the needles to blossom them into large blooming lotuses of ice to capture and snare the girl

The tall lanky girl shakes her head. When the rain of needles comes down on her, and then starts popping and spawning all around her in an attempt to ensare her, she flies up into the air, forcing muscles to pop and tear with chakra-enhanced strength. As she lands away from the opening and in a tree, she calls out, "Why don't you just give up." It is a ruse. She's hurt herself a bit by over-extending herself there. Still, the girl throws out another one of those explosives.

Sakuryu quickly dashes and lets her body get hit by the explosion only to be revealed as yet another Ice clone. "No, you give in, you'll wear out far before I do…" She says before Spinning her large sickle like Kusari gama to throw it out like a Yuki-Onna related Shinigami, coming to take the lanky girls soul, right behind the blade in case of a dodge though is a razor edged rose, going right for the no doubt distracted girls vitals.

Sakuryu gasps as the ball hits her, blasting into shrapnel dealing a fatal blow…or it would have if it wasn't just another clone. Sakuryu scoffs and stares her down "That blade will continue to dig into you, moving deeper and deeper before it pierces your heart. I would relent now and give me your scroll or I won't remove it." She closes her eyes before snickering a little bit. She quickly pulls her chakra back through the roses on the field, the roses blooming out into a lovely glittering piece of art before the petals spin off and fly into a glittering razor storm , Sakuryu throwing another volley of needles to pierce her deep in the distraction again.

The tall girl throws out a hand to reach into her own chest. She's trying to rip out that barb that is moving deeper and deeper. She can feel it. She is busy bleeding all over her hand when she attempts to form a quick handseal in order to pull up an earth-clone to save her from the ice roses that shatter and send a storm of ice at her. She fails her timing, from being distracted, and ends up getting a full face of the needles. Finally, the girl slumps over and falls downward. She goes back to trying to dig that barb out of her chest, but it doesn't work and she faints from the pain. She is still alive, but enough is enough.
Sakuryu blinks. "Some people……do not deserve the title of ninja…" She sighs and walks to the body, Kusari-gama in hand as she searches for the scroll, careful not to rouse her. "I wonder if I should send a flare or something…." She says with a little hum seeing the girls gaping chest wound bleed onto the ground.
