"Renegade War Hog"
Land of Lightning Country Side
It was Naruko first and hopefully not last mission in the Land of Lightning. The task itself was pretty easy, or at lest that is what it came out to be. The point of the mission was to capture or put down a massive war hog which had been terroizing the country side. Live-stock and even fresh vegetatation was in complete ruins due to this beast. Naruko was happy to lead the way of course, leading only herself and another individual by the name of Ossei. While he wasn't a Kumogakure shinobi she did promise him that she would help him learn a little about what it took to fight, perhaps a live mission was something that could steer him in the right direction. "Doing okay? Ossei-kun?" Naruko asks curiously, providing each step along the mountain path, her nose pointed down wards sniffing the air, curious as to where the hog might have been. "I have a map…which shows where this thing has been terrorizing the area. It shouldn't be hard to track,"
Ossei seemed surprisingly durable for not being a fighter. Essence of his training with chakra that enabled him to keep up and keep steady with Naruko. He might not know how to fight.. but can't say he was a slouch on the physical side! Ossei smiled to her with a nod. "Just fine. It's rather invigorating to do this travel. I'm hoping that I might indeed be able to help with this engagement.. We might be able to capture the hog with the proper seal setup I think."
"Ah so you do have something we can catch it with? I was thinking we would just jump on it, tie around it's legs, and hope we don't get ran down in the process," Naruko began to elaborate, steadily though as they continued their tour of the mountain path. Even then nothing seemed to catch her attention, no tracks, no evidence. " You feel inspired? Stronger being out in the wilds? Now you know exactly how I feel everyday. It's quite wonderful, being out here…Even if it's for a mission," Naruko explains while she peers over at a tree. examining it's foliage.
Ossei nodded in agreement as he'd continue walking along with her. "Indeed. That's interesting to know." Musing as Ossei would try to keep a look out for potential hog tracks. he pushed his glasses up to get a better feel of what's going on. Tilting his head to the side as he'd look over at Naruko. "Even if it's for a mission? I think that would be the most important time to have it come about!"
"Are you out in the wilds often? How familiar are you with wildlife?" Naruko asks him, looking up at the tree above, she could have sworn she had seen something a little suspicious. "Ossei-kun, do you mind giving me a bit of a boost? If I can get in this tree a tad it might make things a little easier, you know to stumble upon something that might give us a lead. The beast is known for eating things. Even a dead carcass might point us in the right direction,"
Looking around, Ossei would pause next to the tree and glance up at it. he'd give a nod and move to stand next to the tree, hands cupping together as he'd look to Naruko. "Alright. Ready. You need to learn tree walking soon though, Miss Uzumaki-san." He'd smile to take the sting out of that comment. "Let me know what you see."
"Hey, maybe I just like doing things the gold ol'e fashion way you know? Chakra makes life wayyyy to easy," Naruko deflected, reachoung out to grip him by the shoulders then planting a foot onto his open palm. "Try not to peek or I might fall down right ontop of you," Naruko jeered before moving up the length of the tree, fingers digging into the bark, fumbling with a few branches. Eventually she was able to pull herself up gradually going higher and higher, well enoug to get a better look over the area. "Hey, come up here too Ossei-kun. It may be easier to see things from here,"
Ossei helps Naruko up and then nods. Looking about, he'd simply walk up the tree himself, that expert control of his chakra showing as he'd get up into the foilage with her. He kept the stronger branches as he'd peer about, searching for their prey. "It does have a nice view up here. Certainly."
It took a little while but once settled on the top of the tree things slowly began to become realized. Not only could they see a fresh carcas in the distance but also a massive two tusked war hog tearing away the flesh of an unidentifiable animal. The scene was a little brutal, but this was nature at it's best. "Ah…there! Do you see it?" Naruko exclaims in a raspy whisper. "It's pretty big…A little dangerous. I think we can catch it though without giving it much harm. "You said you have a trap right?"
Ossei, climbing up there was perched close to Naruko and would look the direction she pointed. Nodding, he'd push his glasses up again. "Hmm.. it does seem so. I.. sort of do. You remember the earth barriers I was using to practice with, Miss Uzumaki-san? Well.. I can use those to cage the beast in.. enough layers and it should simply be.. stuck in the middle. The problem is I only have my throwing range to get them close.. and well.. we both saw how my range is." Ossei looks down, musing. "We might be able to wear it out, however, to enable me to set the final structure."
"You really are a genius Ossei-kun…. You know we could use people with a mind like that. I know someone like me wouldn't mind having a partner like you around more often. Good plan! Let's try and wear it out and get it stuck i nthe barriers. As long as we don't loose sight of it, should be an easy task non-theless." Naruko explains, finally ready to kick off the tree and ready herself for a hot pursuit. " Ready to go then?"
Ossei shifted slightly where he perched, pulling out some seals from his pockets. "Hmm.. I think so. But I'm not sure how to wear it out. Other than hitting it with lightning.. But.. that's painful.. and no promise it'll work. Just as a warning.. that part may be up to you, Miss Uzumaki-san." He'd start down the tree, walking along like he did up. Gathering himself, he'd launch outward then, balancing chakra with strength to absorb the impact of landing and start to take off after the pig.
"The trick is to make it go to where we want it to go..We don't need to hit it unless it proves to be too much for us," Naruko explains, kicking off the tree into a rolling duck, safely making her way across the ground. She then claps her hands focusing a torrent of chakra throughout her body, pulled from the depths of her vitality. She then takes in a deep, forging a large bit of chakra which she did expells from out her lips. Gas followed by fire exited in a stream of bolts, flaring forward to block the path infront of the hog, for better or for worst. "Now let's catch him off guard!"

Ossei nods in agreement, moving with her as he'd start throwing. Those barriers would start up around the beast, seeking to lock him into a confined spot. Each of the barriers got a second seal, to further enforce it.. mostly with more dirt being added. While it was hardly perfect, Ossei was working with what he knew. Reminded that he really should come up with a way to stop people. Put them in confinement.
The War Hog wasn't as caught off guard as one would hope. The streaming flames burning a blocking path before the hog was met with avoidance as the war hog raised it's snout and began to sputter in the opposite direction…. Directly towards them? The angry beast raised it's head, only to smash head first into a mass of earth barrier… Making it stronger actually helped quite a bit, as the thick tusks of the beast was hinged into the earth - unable to pull itself out.
"Wow! Nice work Ossei-kun, we just need to finish it up now!" Naruko exclaims, thundering forward an attempting to jump on it's back, this time she was trying to hold it down with her weight along…it wasn't working. "You have something to keep this thing down?!"
Ossei got closer as Naruko tried to.. ride it? "Maybe.. that's not a good idea, Miss Uzumaki-san." Frowning, Ossei quickly pulled several other seals, planting them around the pig tight, so that while it might kick and buck.. there was no where for it to really getaway. Once the walls were up, Ossei would motion. "Hop off.. I'll seal it in. We can go get a box to transport it afterwards.." If Naruko did as he asked, he'd promptly cap the walls with another barrier, to avoid other animals harming the piggy until they could make it go wee wee wee all the way home.
It wasn't as if Naruko could stay on the beast anyways. As soon as she hopped on it's back it snagged and turned, throwing her off it's back and plummeting her on the ground before it. Luckily the War Hog began to buckle at the pressure of earth, with it reinforcing thrice times. It was no longer a problem to keep it still. "Ha…awesome work. I knew you could do the thing with earth but I didn't know you could do it this well," Naruko complimented. "Well then, all we have to do is button it up and start hauling it right? Once we get back to the village I will split the profit with you,"
Ossei pondered for a moment before shaking his head. "I can't undo the seals, Miss Uzumaki-san. If I undo the seals, the barriers drop. The barriers have to be on the ground to work.. So there's no way to transport it yet. We have to go get a cage and cage the barrier, then drop them to get it home." He shrugs slightly. "While I am effective at the barriers.. or can be.. they are still rather limited, Miss Uzumaki. I do apologize."
"Ah…well maybe this thing should just be put down then. We can roast it up and take it home. The Point was to get rid of it…capturing it and it will just be someone elses food, right?" Naruko asks as she then unveils a single kunai, motioning closer towards the struggling warhog. " We will make it quick so it doesn't have to suffer,"
Ossei hesitates, before nodding slightly. "I was thinking.. it could become a pet. I've seen other animals around as aides to the shinobi. It's big and strong. it could be worked with. tamed. Shown how to work with others. It'd be a fine companion to someone strong.. I think.." He looks away from Naruko and the pig then. "But.. I'll go with what you decide. This is your mission, Miss Uzumaki-san."
"You bring up a very good point…Perhaps we should do that and make sure?" Naruko speaks while shrugging her shoulders. "We will need to go back in town for a cage, or you can wait here? It shouldn't take too long to find one…"
Ossei smiles as he'd look back to Naruko with a nod. "Gladly, Miss Uzumaki-san. I'm already impressed by your speed indeed. I'm certain that you will be able to obtain it promptly and return readily. I'll maintain the seals to make sure it does not get out nor hurt." Ossei would shove his hands in his pockets with another nod. "I await your return."
