"Retirees have it rough"
Fuuma Alley Train Depot
Nori is seated on top of one of the freight trains. It seemed like a fairly quick and efficient way to get here from Konohagakure without wasting too much chakra and stamina. Still, even once he made it to Fuuma, he remained on top of the train. There was something to be said about observing the city from this vantage point. One could see a good deal of the city's shanty and even a few warehouses and power plants. Below, people are unloading the train. Nori looks down to see one man pocket something from the cargo, but he minds his own business.
Ishino steps off the train a few minutes after it finally stops. He'd look about, before a nod was given and he'd walk towards the cargo that's being unloaded. Carefully, he'd study the boxes as they were moved, pausing, then pointing at the one who pocketed something from one of the boxes. "You. You and I need to talk. Come here." The guy, to his credit, didn't freak out about being seperated out, simply brushing his hands off and walking towards where Ishino stood. "There is an item missing from a box you moved. What is it?"
Nori doesn't recognize Ishino at first, but then he remembers him from the last time he was in Fuuma and grins. Nori walks down the side of the train and slowly approaches the man and Ishino. For now though, he doesn't speak. This is not really his business unless someone makes it his.
The cargo handler simply states, "A box of candy," and indeed…that was the contents of the cargo crate.
Ishino's eyes narrowed on the worker. He'd put his hand out then, a dull ticking of a clock filling the area. "Give it to me, please." Yep, seems it wasn't going to be gotten away with this time. In the mean time Ishino(!) would casually step off the train, looking about before walking over towards where the cargo is being unloaded at, to keep an eye on the rest of the workers. Hmm, must be a clone going on here then, right?
Nori just watches the scene unfold. The worker sighs, thinks about it for a moment, decides against doing something stupid, and hands over the box of candy. "I suppose I'm going to be punished now?" he says with a frown. Nori, rather than interfering, looks up and notes Ishino-II and blinks. With a grin, he nods and heads over to talk to that one instead. The young Yamanaka steps in front of Ishino and bows, saying, "Puppet-master-sama. How fortunate to run into you again."
With a flicker, a young man adorned in a white suit appears in the area, about fifteen feet from the train. Seems to be business as usual, Shuuren showing up to check on a shipment, though something does appear to be a little… off about him, the usually socially perfect man seeming to be a bit weary today as he glances around. Casting a glance around, he asks to any nearby workers, "Where is the foreman?"
The worker would pause, looking at Shuuren, he'd point out Ishino.. then Ishino. Shrugging lightly, the guy would comment, "Take yer pick. Both same guy, but we dunno which one is real and which one ain't." From a glance of one of the Ishinos, the worker would of course, get back to work on unloading that cargo.
The one dealing with the worker would take the box, the ticking fading away. "No. You gave me the box. Not giving me the box would of had the punishment occur. Get back to work please." He'd turn and head over to the box that had been opened, returning the candy to it.
Ishino (the other) would smile with a western type bow towards Nori. "Nori-san. An honor as always. Although I do have to warn that I am indeed on a mission at this time, so please do not interrupt the flow of work. Otherwise I would be happy to converse while I watch over the materials."
Nori hrms lightly as Ishino #1 sends the worker back to unloading, "You handled that well, pun intended…brcause he's a cargo handler and all." Nori grins. "Showing mercy should make him appreciate working under your command." Nori shrugs though and then nods, "I will not be getting in your way." He bows. As Shuuren asks for the foremen, Nori wonders, <Who does #2 work for>.
Nori is about to ask something else when an explosion goes off somewhere in one of the cargo trains that was being unloaded. Nori erks.

"I can figure that part out. Thanks," Shuuren says with a nod to the worker. Just as he's about to walk over to Ishino, the explosion rings out, and he quickly turns his head toward its direction. The look on his face becomes rather dark at this point before he shakes his head and flickers to the top of the train to start running down the top of it toward the cart where the explosion happened. "I am Nagamura Shuuren. Any shinobi assigned to this mission, I expect you know what your job is," he calls out as he runs, and, by the fact that he's running right toward whatever's happening, this guy's a very hands-on boss.
First Ishino would walk over to where Nori and the second Ishino were at, a polite nod in greeting given. "I do try to be fair in what I do.." He'd trail off at the explosion, frowning as he'd look towards where it happen at. As Shuuren ran by with his call out, he'd curse. "That.. would be the contractor. Please pardon me." A nod given to Nori and Ishino, the second Ishino would rush towards the source of the explosion as well. The first Ishino folded his arms over his chest, that low ticking starting again as he'd watch the workers who gawked for a moment, then saw Ishino watching them and would hurry to get back to work.
Nori wasn't on this mission, but as soon as the explosion ocurred, he reflexively sent his sixth sense out. Nori relates what he feels to the Ishino that remains behind, hoping over to him in the process to do so, "There are three injured workers. There are seems to be something infused in chakra in this train too…perhaps another explosive tag? But, how was it set off?" Nori hasn't heard of remotely triggering seals yet.
Shuuren meanwhile would see a good portion of his cargo on fire from the explosion. There are indeed three workers who are down and out around the train. Several more are rushing to try and put out the fire.
As he spots the fire and the workers, Shuuren sighs and brings his hands into a seal. Three shadow clones appear running beside him and leap down to assist the workers and get them out. Shuuren himself sends out a pulse of chakra to survey the situation for himself, attempting to gather any vital and chakra signatures in the area to see if this is just a set trap or if someone is around pulling the strings on it. Whoever it is… They're going to pay. "I don't guess Kirigakure sent anyone with you that's capable of Water jutsu, did they?" he asks as he casts a glance to Ishino while surveying the situation.
RPCOMBAT: Shuuren defends against with a SENSORY-DIAGNOSTIC…47
"My apologies, Sir, but they did not. It was seen as a c-rank mission only due to having to come through Fuuma." Ishino would shake his head with a frown, getting close enough to visually survey the situation himself. He wouldn't get in Shuuren's way as he worked to help those who were injured. Instead, he was searching for the hostile intent, using that genjutsu to link with those all around them temporarly, trying to find someone who was focused on causing issues with that train. If he did catch them, he was going to slam them down with that solemn moment, causing whomever he focused on to literally just freeze in place as their reality would stop for a few moments.
Ishino would nod towards Nori at his comment. "Indeed.. The contractor is a known medical nin, so he should be able to assist, plus I will be there to help them." Boy could that get confusing fast. "There is an ability to remote trigger seals.. it's a unique capability, with quite a range for planting and later triggering seals.. It could also of been a timed bomb slipped in between final check and the train starting.. either way.. we need to find who did it so we can stop them from doing any further damage."
The three workers are easily diagnosed with minor burns and cuts from shrapnel. The shadow clones have no issue pulling them to safety. Still, minus the other workers already here, no one looks to be the culprit. None of these workers has enough chakra to register as a shinobi. It is just about at the end range of the echolocation that a single ping would register. Someone is quite a distance away, on a roof-top, watching and focusing a lot of chakra. It might just be a coincidence, but in the shinobi world, there is very little that is such.
Ishino doesn't sense anyone around with a malicious intent because the culprit is quite a distance away. Nori doesn't even sense him. Still, Nori notes the other possible explosive tag, so he rushes in to grab it, calling out to the others, "There might be another in here, please…get back until I investigate." He looks to Ishino, almost as if he is asking for help.
Shuuren would appear to still be surveying the scene from atop the train as Ishino and Nori go to work, as if he never even noticed that the person on the building was there. However, coming up from behind the guy on the roof, a form of the suit-adorned Medical Ninja would appear with a flicker behind the man focusing chakra. "If you want to live to see tomorrow, I'd suggest you don't try to blow that train up. You'll find I'm not a very forgiving man," he says, remaining calm and collected as ever, though his words definitely hold a bit of an ominous tone.
The Ishino with Nori would nod and call out to the workers. "Get back. Allow him to work. It's important that you do not get blown up." He'd watch intently, arms folding across his chest as Nori did go to work. Indeed, even while he told the others to get back, he'd move closer. There is a certain sense of trust being given there that Nori isn't the culprit. With that said, he wasn't going to allow another shinobi out of sight. on something he is guarding.
Ishino would work with the shadow clones, getting people organized as the wounded are tended to, He'd keep people in line and do his best to work outside of the imminant blast range to verify that the rest of the cargo was removed and secured. If nothing, he was still attempting to be efficent with the use of the workers in that time period. Afterall, Shuuren was still paying for services rendered.
The trigger man grunts as Shuuren's shadows show up behind him. "And here I thought I was out of range of anyone's detection. You must be pretty good kid." The trigger man is older, definitely has shinobi leanings, but he is not sporting any particular head-protector. The old man gets up slowly and turns to face Shuuren. "Nice suit kid. I'm guessing that you've gotten this far by being smart, working hard, and finishing the mission at any cost. Let me ask you this though…what happens when you retire and the village you've been with all along gives you nothing back in return? Be a smart kid and let me have a little fun hmm? I've already disabled your train so it isn't going anywhere. The next step will be to sell everything in Fuuma Alley and retire some place nice. So, what says you, from one old shinobi to a young kid? Let me have this one hmm?"
Meanwhile, back at the train, Nori and Ishino open a compartment, move to one of the crates Nori is sensing the chakra emitting from, and low and behold when they open it…there is a whole crate full of explosive tags. Nori blinks and looks to Ishino, "I'm not strong enough to move these somewhere safely…can you? Any other ideas?"
"Interesting theory," Shuuren says, smirking slightly at the man. "But you're not totally right. I am Nagaumura Shuuren, a retired shinobi and a former Jounin, and you are interrupting my business. The contents of that train belong to me and are being shipped to my clients. I'll give you two options." He lets that sink in for a moment, his words somewhat ominous, though he is calm as ever as he speaks. "You can either come work for me and make something of your unused talents that's not mild terrorism and make a lot of money while you're at it, or you can die here. You can ask any village or person that works for me, I pay quite handsomely for those who perform well, and, based on your traps here, I'd say you're proficient. Becoming a well-off employee of mine is surely more inviting than death or jail." The fact that this guy's a shinobi is what may save his life today, as Shuuren would've probably just killed him if he were some idiotic bandit.
Both Ishinos looked at the crate full of explosives. That.. wasn't on the manifest. One would move to the other, so both Ishinos are now by Nori, the one that would be revealed to be the puppet would pick the crate up smoothly. "This does indeed make it difficult." He would have the puppet carry the crate off towards one of the buildings. Settling it as remotely from the train as possible. Once that was done, a scroll would be taken out, the paper doming over the location that crate was at, to be solidified into something akin to steel. Just in case that case did indeed go off, it'd be reduced in impact immensely. Ishino would look about. "Check for anything else, please, Nori-san. We have to make sure this train is clear."
The old man looks at Shuuren a little more closely, "You're retired too? You're…" and the man squints slightly, "well, I guess you're a little older than the baby shinobi I typically deal with." The man strokes his chin in thought and says, "You can't be doing half bad then if you are indeed so young and retired and doing just fine. I guess I'll give it a shot. If you weren't retired yourself though, I wouldn't have considered it. No sense in hurting someone that is in the same position as I am." So, the man nods and holds out his hand, "Deal."
Even though Shuuren has saved the day already, Nori and Ishino don't know that. They are still dealing with a crate load of explosive tags that could literally go off any moment. Luckily Ishino is up to the task and handles it swiftly. Nori eyes the barrier that is created around the crate through the use of the scroll with interest and even states, "That's cool." He grins and then grows serious again when he is asked to make sure no additional chakra signatures are around that could mean more trouble. After he searches each train more closely, he returns and shakes his head, "I think that's it. We should be clear for now. Hopefully we're in the clear."
"Glad to hear it," Shuuren says with a nod, reaching out to shake the man's hand. He then glances down at the train, where Nori and Ishino seem to have everything going well. A light smirk graces his face as he says, "So long as they're doing that, let's just let them be and let them get all those tags off my train since they think they're diffusing a bomb. We can go discuss your job in my organization over lunch and a bottle of sake."
