Training Area #26 - Genin Training Grounds

The Special Genin Training ground, in Training Area #26, is designed to suit all of a Genin's training needs. As well, it serves as an excellent place for Jounin to teach their Genin team members. The area is mostly a large expanse of grassy field, surrounded by forest, with a nearby lake, and various poles and tree trunks for practicing attacks on. There are boxes, carefully camoflauged, containing supplies of shuriken, kunai, smoke bombs, and similar basic ninja equipment, as well as racks nailed to a few trees, with weapons stored on them. They are all covered to be protected from the environment, and regularly checked to make sure they are clean and in good condition.
There are also medical supplies hidden around the area. Most of this equipment can't even be found by most Genin, since their containers are meant to be known to and used by Jounin only, but a Jounin teacher may point out the location of a few for when he or she isn't present and the Genin want to train anyway.

The training grounds are fairly quiet today, few people out in the training forest but it’s pretty calm. Jade looks over to him and waves "Hey, Uh let me guess another Inuzuka?" Jeeze they keep popping those kids out. She’s just making a wrong assumption though.
Jade is a mid-teen member of the Aburame clan, barely hitting 5 feet tall and probably only 100 pounds on her best day; she’s not exactly an intimidating specimen of the ninja world. She’s a pale example of shinobi with silver hair from a rather odd strain of destruction beetles living inside her. Her short hair is tied in a few braids with wire thread. Her eyes are a similar color of stormy grey as her hair, not quite Hyuga white but not too far off.
Dressing in a long coat that is covered in random silver bits and hiding weapons she would fit in at any classy ninja function. This kind of hides her slim form which is kind of normal for the Aburame though. Her Clothes already seem faded and dusty though like she just came back in from the road and she seems to enjoy it that way. under her faded coat she wears baggy jeans and a tshirt for some local band. Her Headband is tied around her upper right arm.
Her Destruction beetles are all a little odd with white and grey shells instead of black ones. She can be seen talking to them on occasion like most of the clan though hers don’t escape from a hole on her face and neck; instead, they seem to all be on her wrists and arms.

"Uchiha," he begins. "Uchiha Kazuma." He turns his shoulder to give her a glimpse of the palm-sized Uchiha crest seated between his shoulder blades. He isn't offended, though he takes a great deal of pride in his clan. Regarding the other ninja with an inquisitive gaze, he asks: "Nara? No… there's something… the clothing, your posture… perhaps, Aburame?"

Jade chuckles softly “I’m not wearing a crest or anything, How did you figure that out?" She hops down putting her bento on a nearby bench to be polite. She pats some dust off her jacket and looks over to him again "Coming to train?"

Warming to her smile, Kazuma walks briefly through his analysis: "I wasn't sure, but it was my best guess… You're eyes have the cast of the Hyuga, but they're not quite the same. Your high collar, favored both by the Uchiha and the Aburame, though I know that you aren't Uchiha. I got the sense of movement, though you were are ease. At first, I thought that it might be a trick of light and shadow, Nara, but then… I thought that I might have seen an insect… my thoughts arrived on Aburame." Pausing for a moment to review his own analysis, Kazuma gives a little nod of his head and seems satisfied.
"I am here to train!" Turning his head to the side, he show's Jade his forehead protector with it's Leaf symbol. "I just earned this, and I have to be worthy of it. That means coming here. That means training when I can train, and learning when I can learn." Kazuma nods at Jade's bento, "Did lunch bring you here, or are you here to train too?

Jade chuckles softly "I come here to eat sometimes. I can train if you want. Might wanna calm down a bit though. Most people around here aren’t so high strung." Ok, thats a lie, a lot of them are but he doesn’t need to know that.

Kazuma breaks into a genuine grin. "Calm down, high strung, hmm… I think that I am calmed down; I just don't take things lightly. So, I'm calm, but intense. Depending on how you want to look at it, you might say that I'm calm or that I'm high-strung. You might say that I'm both. You might even say that I'm neither, though that doesn't seem right…" Switching gears, Kazuma takes up the offer: "Yes, thank you, training would be great. I love to learn, and I'm sure that you, an Aburame, could show me something very interesting!"

Jade rolls her eyes and chuckles "We’re all mad here. Anyway, lets try a little sparring; I’m not really in a mood for tag or capture the flag." She heads to the sparring mat and stretches her arms

Jade stretches and then just focuses a little not looking like she’s doing anything "Ok Uchiha-san, feel free to start; as your senior I’ll let you take the lead in this dance."

Kazuma bows, suddenly (though likely briefly) all business. Assuming the basic taijutsu stance that he learned in the Academy, Kazuma turns side-on to Jade and spreads his feet for a wide, solid stance. "Let's start where I'm weakest: taijutsu."
With that, Kazuma takes a few steps forward and throws out a basic series of punches and kicks. He isn't trying to hurt Jade, though he suspects that his meager skills wouldn't be up to that task in any case, but he takes this seriously as an opportunity to learn from a more senior genin.

Jade keeps on replacing herself with what looks like parts of the training dummies as she poofs around Kazuma "You really should move a bit faster; come on use that Uchiha blood!" She grins and raises an arm though as a cloud of glinting white Kikaichu trail behind her and start to chase Kazuma.

Kazuma doesn't rise to the taunt; he's well aware of his limitations. He watches carefully as Jade easily evades his attacks; "She's good," he thinks to himself as his strikes land on training dummies. Then, he notices Jade's Kikaichu coming form him in a swarm. The first group of insects latches onto an image of him that quickly dissolves into nothing. The second group, however, finds him. Kazuma can feel the insects draining his chakra… it's not a pleasant feeling, but he smiles all the same. "Well done," he calls. "Let's try something different: ninjutsu."
Kazuma makes a quick dash backwards to gain some space. Skidding to a stop, he weaves a quick series of seals and fills the space between the two genin with tiny slivers of flame.

Jade tries to bring up the Kikaichu defend her, but the flaming shuriken slam into the wall of beetles and get her pretty good: laying her on her carapace "ah ##red|antenna# it!" as she tries to put the fire on her sleeve out "Ok ok you win." A flaming sleeve kinda takes precedence over sparring…also he did a lot of damage.

Kazuma exhales a last whiff of smoke before running over to Jade and offering her his hand. "Thank you; that was great! It was the fire, I think, that got you…" There's no mocking tone in his voice nor any guile in his face; the young Uchiha is genuinely pleased to have seen Jade's style. "Your Kikaichu are wicked… I can still feel the tingling where they drained my chakra! Your replacement technique… so well done, much better than I could have done! You've shown me a lot in a very short period of time… I'll have to think on this…" He trails off as he begins to lose himself to his own thoughts. His hand is still extended to Jade to help her up, but it's not entirely clear he remembers having done it as he replays Jade's moves in his mind.

Jade pats down her arm looking at the burns "Ow antler." She pulls out some burn cream and starts to check herself "Yeah probably, I don’t deal with many genin who can do fire jutsus. Was my own fault."

Crouching on the balls of his feet, Kazuma raises an eye at Jade's burn cream. "Do you always carry burn cream with you?" He pauses as he thinks, his mind racing as it's wont to do. "Pain teaches… perhaps, we both learned something today. I'd like to think that we did."

Jade sits down and checks her wound "Im studying to be a medic, so kinda yeah. Also I cant cook worth a wing so you know…kinda normal." Jade smiles a bit at him while she cleans up her arm "Oh its no problem. Good work on the shuriken, was a good move."
