Summary:
Genin and Students are sent to go chase down some bunnies while also playing guard to the rare and precious breed.
"Runaway Bunnay"
Land of Fire
A student on a mission is not really unheard of, but it /is/ pretty rare. Of course, that's likely due to the danger associated with most missions. This time, however, the shinobi of the Leaf are not on any ordinary mission! It's what could be considered a 'D and a half' mission, if there was such a thing. What was this mission, anyways? Why, it was rounding up Farmer Bill's bunnies! … Yeah, not that exciting. But the other issue is that Farmer Bill's bunnies are pretty highly sought after, so there needs to be a few guards around to make sure they aren't stolen by bandits! Or something.
Messenger Hawks were sent out to a number of folk, and eventually they would be told to meet at the gate so everyone could be fully briefed. Uchiha Sasayaku was the one in charge! … Partly. She actually was to oversee the genin while Shinobu watched over the students… Weird chain of command, but something odd for such an odd mission is probably to be expected?
Shinobu arrives at the gates on the earlier side of things, Kame in her arms. She had read that she would be overseeing two students, and part of her wondered if this was another one of Hige's tricks or something… She didn't know why, but he seemed determined to set her up for promotion! If one suffers, then all must? Maybe… The girl scents the air a bit to see if her teammates arrived yet. She also knew that she'd be under someone else's command… And part of her duty was to follow /those/ orders while overseeing the students. How the heck is she supposed to balance that?! Sigh… Well, may as well try her best.
Appearing at the meeting point, Sasayaku nods to Shinobu and Kame as she arrives. She glances around for a moment before stating, "Are the students ready?" She looks to Shinobu and tilts her head befor elooking back at the area to see if said students are here or arriving before she looks back to Shinobu, "We will need to be prepared to have them work hard to catch these rabbits while we defend them and the rabbits against bandits." She nods, taking this as seriously as any mission despite it not being that serious.
Daichi headed out to the gates pretty quickly. When he arrived he noticed Shinobu and Kame already there, and smiled in their direction. "Hey Shinobu. Hey Kame." Of course about the same time he was arriving Sasayaku was arriving so he waved towards her. "Hey Sasayaku. So what am I doing on this mission? Some sort of D-Rank…that isn't completely D-Rank? Maybe bandits, but mostly just bunny retrieval."

Jun was rather surprised when he was taken out of his normal Academy classes to be told that he had been selected to help on a mission! Students almost never got to go on missions, so naturally, the boy was amped. Why they would choose him of all people, who knows, but who cares? He was going on a mission!
So, Jun had packed up what ninja gear he had (a few kunai, a holster full of shuriken, and some flashbang tags!) and made his way to the village's front gate to meet up with the mission team. Upon arriving, he sees a smallish girl with black hair, and he blinks a bit. Was this mission going to be all students? Although, he didn't remember seeing her at the Academy… In any case, Jun had been shortly followed by an older kunoichi wearing a flak jacket, so she must be the one in charge. "Uzumaki Jun, reporting for duty!" he said cheerfully. He didn't know the other boy there, either, but he guessed he could get along with the rest of the team so long as they didn't get in his way >.>
When Katsumi had received a message that she was to attend a mission, her brows had set into a confused furrow - and had yet to get out of it. Why in the world would she be sent out on a mission? She was a student, after all, and while it wasn't common for one of her status to be sent out, she knew it was possible. The girl was just convinced that there had to have been some sort of mistake.
Upon arriving at the meeting place of the gate, Katsumi noticed two girls that she had never met before, one appearing quite a few years older than herself while the other seemed about her age - carrying around a little black pup. Daichi she did recognise, and she gave a small nod and wave in acknowledgement of the Genin. Jun was there, too, she noticed with a little sigh. Was there anywhere she could go without running into him?

Tatsuo's hawk had a limp wing! So, um, he's a little late. Yes, totally the reason! The boy runs to the gate, skidding to a stop and leaning forward to catch his breath. Whew! "Sorry I'm late.I'm here now. I'm glad you didn't leave without me…" he pauses then as he realizes he…doesn't know everyone there. "Oh…um, I Nara Tatsuo. Reporting for duty." He glances over to Shinobu, hoping he's not /too/ late.
Shugo was really going to need to find a way to sneak in and get his name removed from the missions-involving-animals listing so he didn't need to keep having nightmares. As it was, he would be arriving at the gate last and with a yawn escaping him while he walked toward the gathering. Hands in his pockets and his shirt half tucked in, the Nara would peek open an eye to see who was gathered and smirk slightly… The princess, the pup-ette, the taijutsu nut, bug woman, and Tatsuo. "Well this is going to be interesting.." Shugo muttered as he reached to his neck and gently rubbed at the muscles for a moment. "Anyone else coming or was I the last one?"
"Umm… They're… coming…" Shinobu murmurs. Then her nose picks up those two scents that appeared at the restaurant. "Here…" Shinobu points out the two approaching students and then blinks and peeks at Tatsuo. "Ohayou…" The girl waves quietly and then looks to the two students. "Umm… You two… Have to retrieve bunnies… And we'll keep you safe from bandits…" she tells the pair. Shinobu pauses for a moment to let that sink in (and to catch her breath) before continuing, "I'm Inuzuka Shinobu… I'm in charge of overseeing you two… The others are Satonezu Daichi… Nara Tatsuo… and Nara Shugo…" She would let the Uchiha introduce herself because Sasayaku was older and also Shinobu didn't know her well…
COMBAT: Shinobu focuses 1573 stamina to turn it into 2000 usable chakra!
"I am Uchiha Sasayaku." She nods her head as she looks to the arrivals, "There's an issue where a farmer's prized bunnies have gotten loose. As was mentioned, Shinobu is in charge of overseeing the students who will be in charge of getting the bunnies." She then looks at Tatsuo a moment, frowning slightly before taking in a sharp breath. She then looks to the rest again, "We will need to keep them and the rabbits safe as these rabbits are sought after and can be sold at a good value." She nods her head and turns to lead the way, "We cannot allow one rabbit to be taken. Keep up." And she is on her way quickly.
Daichi was visibly injured some after people would get past introductions. Once the other few he knows arrives he greets all them with their own waves. "Hey Katsumi, Tatsuo, and Shugo. Wow this is a big mission." He looks back at Sasayaku and Shinobu. "Are there going to be a lot of bandits? I may need a quick patching up before hand then. This mission came pretty suddenly after I had a spar with Kyoko." He frowned as he mentioned it.
Jun's expression was less than thrilled when he learned what it was he would be doing. "Bunny snatching? We're snatching /bunnies/?? Where's the adventure?! I wanna fight bandits, too! What, you think just cause I'm still a student I can't fight good? Hmph!" He crossed his arms stubbornly, turning from the group and following after the Chuunin girl. He'd show them, just they wait! >:
Meanwhile, it was hard to ignore the presence of Katsumi - again. Why did she keep showing up? He could have sworn at that moment that the higher ups had something against him. He shoots her a suspicious look, but still tries to walk even faster ahead of her. He wasn't gonna let anybody show him up!
Now that she had come closer to the girl with the pup, Katsumi tilted her head - and craned it to try and hear what the girl was saying to them. Inuzuka Shinobi… Part of her seemed familiar, like maybe she had seen her once or twice before. It could have been at the Academy, but Katsumi didn't want to assume anything. For all she knew, the girl had simply seen her walking down the street at some point. It took a moment for the words to sink into Katsumi's ears, but once they did - they had to catch… bunnies..? 'Oh, man' Katsumi thought to herself, sighing a little and wrapping her arms around herself as the leader of the whole group gave all of the details. Rabbits were really fast and agile creatures! How in the heck were they supposed to catch all of them, and not let a single one get away?
Katsumi looked around, when other names were introduced to her, and tried to put the right face to the right name in her memory. She might end up working with one or all of them again, in the future, and she didn't want to make a mistake.
When Daichi had made a mention of bandits, Katsumi had done her best to hide her shock. As the Uchiha Chuunin had explained, these bunnies were priceless in their own way. But… She was a student! She couldn't help but be a little nervous. She picked up her feet to follow after the rest, once directed to keep up, her eyes rolling in her head when Jun piped up his disapproval for having to "bunny snatch." The girl had a sneaking suspicion that the Uzumaki boy was going to try and turn this whole thing into another competition. 'Ugh,' she thought, keeping her pace steady even as Jun moved faster to get ahead.
Tatsuo listens to the introductions before looking at Sasayaku, blinking a bit in surprise when he catches the look and frown out of the corner of his eye. Hmm. He doesn't say anything about it though since they had to work together now. Instead he turns to get the introductions of - nevermind they aren't introducing themselves. Instead he just turns his attention to Daichi, eyeing him a moment. From one to the next water has formed around Tatsuo's hand and then it shoots towards Daichi, splashing to cover the boy. The water dries immediately, the chakra seeping in to find the injuries and work to heal them. Then he's off after the Chuunin…

Shugo would give a light wave to Shinobu as she commented on his name though as the Princess spoke up Shugo smirked a bit considering how different she sounded when compared to the last time he had met her. Less Flowery. Giving Daichi a wave of his hand, the Nara raised a brow slightly at the tai-nut's comment about needing some help. Tatsuo could probably help with that problem while Shugo was a bit distracted with more important thoughts, he had to classify these students for his notes later…. The bookworm he thought he'd have no trouble with; Katsumi was so focused on the lesson that bookworm almost fit but seemed a little too insulting. He'd have to work on something better than that.. The other student however was easy… He'd call that one his favorite phrase, Mendokuse.
The splash of water was what brought Shugo out of his thoughts to glance toward the rushing backs of the princess and Tatsuo. With a bit of a firm step, the Nara would start off after them and hold back just enough to stay behind the students as they moved. No need to leave children in the dust and have them go missing before it was even time for the mission to begin.

And so the group moves out! Shinobu and Kame take the sides for now, making sure nothing is amiss. They can also keep an eye on the students, who seemed determined to rush ahead of Sasayaku, though the Inuzuka Duo wouldn't let them out of their sight. Safety and all that. Of course, the students probably don't know where they're going, so that should slow them down as well. The whole group would make it to the farm in short notice, as the farm was only a half-hour away!
It would take even less time to find their client, too, as he was right near the entrance. Walking behind a large bull (ox) was Farmer Bill! "Git! Git, y'darn critter!" he yells, shoving a shoulder into the rear of the stubborn beast. Didn't work so well… "Dangnabbit… OY! You ninja here t' git me rabbits? They're PRIME SPECIMEN, y'know… So dun try and beat 'em up!"
A look at the students and Sasayaku would merely state, "You are not yet prepared to take on bandits until you graduate to Genin." She nods her head, "Your purpose, as Shinobu will keep you to, is to catch those rabbits. If you cannot complete this, it will put us in a bad situation as that is oure main task." She then continues along with them and only frowns slightly when others move ahead. She then looks to the area around as they move, watching the area. Once they do arrive, she nods to the farmer, "Yes, we are going to catch them and they will come to no harm. Just point us in the direction they were heading." She then will direct traffic, "Shinobu, move with the students and find as many rabbits as you can safely." She then looks to the others, "Perimeter patrol. You spot rabbits, get them to the students. You spot bandits? Put a stop to them. Capture first, worse if you must."
Daichi would not rush ahead to mostly no wear himself out. The timing of this mission was pretty bad. Just getting out of the spar and all, but luckily Tatsuo had healed him some. As he watched he noticed the one student seemed to be rushing ahead if he could. Knowing from experience it is probably best he doesn't fight bandits. Daichi had before, but even then he wasn't copletely ready. And he just kept pushing ahead anyways ending up on that B-Rank and getting burned. He wouldn't let someone else do something so foolishly like Hige had let him. Upon arriving he listend to every word from Sasa, and responded quickly before moving off to start the perimeter. "Alright Sasayaku. I may need some rope or something though. I only have a little on me."
Jun watched Sasayaku with a flat expression, clearly dissastisfied - though there was a small part of him which understood the importance of teamwork in this instance. Following Shinobu, Jun looked out across the expanse of green fields, spotting one white rabbit hopping idly near a bunch of cabbages. "AH!" he shouted, pointing suddenly. "Rabbit!"
He didn't even know how many of them there were to catch, but so far he saw one that he wasn't going to let out of his sights. He would capture all these rabbits in no time!
Upon arrival at the farm, Katsumi's eyes had fallen onto the farmer struggling with his ox, and the crease between her brows aded for just a moment. The way the man spoke was something she'd found funny, but she wasn't going to show her sense of humour and start giggling. She certainly didn't want to offend anyone that she was supposed to be helping. The farmer's comment that his bunnies were prime, and that they weren't allowed to hurt them in any way, brought the girl's brows to furrow slightly once again. She could probably figure out a way to capture them easily, if Jun wasn't around. 'He'll probably go and chase them on his own two feet,' she grumbled inside of her head, passing a glance to the Uzumaki before looking up to the chuunin as she spoke up with more directions.
Katsumi waited for the quiet Shinobu to start leading them, curious as to which direction they would be told to start looking in. Jun's shout that he'd spotted a rabbit in the distance brought he girl's eyes around, narrowed and ready to smack him in the back of his head. Sudden movements and loud noises weren't going to get them anywhere - she hoped the Uzumaki would figure that out sooner, rather than later.
Obviously Sasayaku was still not happy with Tatsuo but, well, situations! He just listens to the Chuunin and nods like a good boy before he looks after Shinobu and the students. He looks back towards the farmer and his ox but doesn't say anything himself, nor offer to help the man at this point. Maybe if he was still struggling by the time they got the bunnies back he'd offer assistance. For now though he simply follows after the others, looking around carefully as they go to make sure that no danger appears. Or if it does that he spots it in order to stop it.

Catching people alive really was easier than trying to teach a man's shadow how to kill its owner but Shugo didn't have to live the easy way all the time. Perhaps one or two would 'choose' the knife over the punishment he'd given to the last attacker he was told to take alive. No matter, when told to move off to do perimeter patrol, Shugo would give a nod and turn to start off for one of the more shaded locations that would grant him an advantage as slight as it may be. The shaded area also meant that he could lean on trees when searching for rabbits and bandits in the area. How to chase animals toward students without working up a sweat though? That was the question of his day.

Upon hearing Jun's shout, that rabbit just suddenly bolted off. Of course, the farmer eyed Jun like the uzumaki was losing his mind. "Nononononono… /MY/ Rabbits are /much/ better than those wild ones!" The farmer humphs and gets out a sketch. "HERE!" He shoves it in the nearest person's face (which is likely Katsumi…) The rabbit shown in the drawing is not all that impressive, actually… But there's a mini drawing of a stick figure beside it. "See? Now /THAT/ is a rabbit!" Yeah… The rabbits they were seeking out were giant … About ten feet tall. "Dun worry. They're harmless."
Shinobu blinks and peers a bit at the drawing. "Umm… Hai…" she murmurs, making a few handseals to catch others in her genjutsu to pass on the message. At least, the ones who were already on the go. 'The rabbits are… 10 feet tall…' she tells the different people who had disappeared. Then she would look to the two students. "Umm… Kame-chan can go with Jun-san… And I'll go with Katsumi-san… We'll help you… find the bunnies…" she murmurs.
Blinking at the news, Sasayaku takes a sharpe breath and then looks to Jun, "Still sad about hunting rabbits?" She then looks to Shinobu with a nod before she clears her throat, "Change of tactics." She nods her head as she looks, "Tatsuo, you take the west and I'll go east. We'll cover the perimeter. Everyone else work on herding and protecting the rabbits." She nods her head, "They may be a bigger nuisance than I believed." She nods her head.
She will then take off in her given direction and then starts looking around as she moves.
RPCOMBAT: Sasayaku defends against with a PERCEPTION…19
Daichi now frowns at this news, but does it anyways. He figured if the farmer said they were harmless then they were, but maybe the could accidentally be dangerous. "Alright Sasayaku… on it." He ran off to start looking for the rabbits now, and he was prepared for what he expected would be rabbits hopping far into the air and possibly squishing someone.
Jun stared at the picture with a blank expression for several moments, as the information slowly sunk in. "Rabbits… Hmmm… Rabbits…." His eyes slowly wandered over to the tiny stick figure next to the rabbit, and he stared at it for a solid minute before… "HWAH!" he gasped, leaping back suddenly and pointing a shaky finger at the sheet. "Ten foot tall rabbits?! Are you for real?! Rabbit shmabbit, those things are monsters! Bakemono-dattebayo!" Wrapping his arms around himself, Jun shuddered deeply and looked a little pale.
When he was told that he would be paired up with Kame, his head hung even further. 'Why did I have to get paired up with a puppy when everyone else gets a trained shinobi partner?' He was sure someone was definitely working against him, here. Still, he might as well start looking… What he would do when he DID find one, he would have to figure out when he got there.
RPCOMBAT: Jun defends against with a PERCEPTION…6
When the drawing of the farmer's rabbits was pushed into Katsumi's face, the girl had gone nearly cross-eyed before she was able to pull her head back far enough to interpret what it was she was actually seeing. And hearing. 'Ten-foot tall… rabbits,' she thought, and gave a hard wince when Jun shouted his shock close to her. Again she cast her eyes in a glare to the Uzumaki, then rolled them away when the farmer explained that his rabbits were harmless. 'Anything that big, isn't completely harmless…' What if it bounded up into the air, and just as she saw the shadow she got squashed into Katsumi-jelly? The idea made her shudder, a little.
The girl's eyes shifted away from the sketch, when she noticed the movement of Uchiha-san and Daichi moving off in different directions. Once she'd heard that Shinobu was going to be her partner in /finding/ said bunnies, Katsumi couldn't help but let out a little sigh of relief. "Hai," was her simple reply to the genin, ready to go and start hunting.
RPCOMBAT: Katsumi defends against with a PERCEPTION…10
Tatsuo's eyes shift from the farmer, to Katsumi, to Jun before he shakes his head slightly. "Um, this actually isn't that bad…you." He still hadn't gotten a name from the kid. "There could be much worse things to deal with that are taller and not considered harmless. You just need to be watchful." With that his eyes shift to Sasayaku and he nods in understanding. "Hai," he says simply before heading west, preparing his chakra to be able to try and somehow capture and herd ten foot tall bunnies…
With Shinobu off with the bookwork and her puppy going with Mendokuse, Shugo chose the loud boy purely out of curiosity. After all, Shinobu had shown her abilites both with and without the pup at her side, but he'd not seen how the puppy could handle a situation on its own were the need to arise. Scratching at the rough ponytail of wild brown hair, Shugo made his way after the overly eager boy to begin helping him in the search for ten foot rabbits which were interesting all on their own. How could someone grow them so big, and then how could someone expect bandits to steal them?
RPCOMBAT: Shugo defends against with a PERCEPTION…8
Well, bunnies about 10 feet tall are really not that hard to miss… Which means that Jun and Katsumi both have quite a lot of time to notice the huge black-and-white rabbits that are off in the distance. There are three total bunnies, but one of them is… actually getting captured as we speak! There are really loud bunny-screams coming from waaaayyyy over there… Yep! » Sasayaku and Tatsuo might want to take care of that…
Shinobu doesn't even have to use her sniffers to see that giant rabbit before her. "Umm… Katsumi-san…" she mumbles. She would wait a few moments before actually pointing to the giant bunny before her. Give the student a bit of time to notice the huge bunny… "Umm… I think… we should try and … get that… What do you think… we should do?"
As she moves off, trusting that the others will handle their giant bunny situations, she hears the cries of a bunny rabbit. THat's a thought she'd never thought she'd have. Cries of a bunny rabbit. Either way, she rushes off toward the sounds of the rabbit and then appears at the scene, hoping that someone else heard it, too. Even as she does arrive, she points at the bandits, "Halt what you are doing and step away from the rabbit." She then focuses on her attack and uses things that should keep the rabbit calm…genjutsu! She aims her genjutsu at any bandits she sees in an attempt to make them think they are actually tied up, "You can't escape."

Daichi looks at the rabbits nearby, and then the bandits trying to take it. Then he pulls off his weights before quickly moving to the area right in front of the bandits. Then upon reaching the spot nearby he jumps into the air, and makes special care to not kick the rabbit. Then he spins his foot around hopefully smacking the first bandit in the face and then the chest before hopping away to get between the bandits and the rabbits. It was still his job to get the rabbits to safety, so besides the one kick he would let Tatsuo and Sasayaku handle the bandits while he and whoever else tries to get this rabbit safely back.

Jun didn't have to look for long before he heard the loud squeals, and subsequently saw the rabbits up ahead near the forest's edge. Well, it looked like the bad guys had already gotten to one.. But he wasn't allowed to help fight! Poo! Instead, he starts running toward one of the other free rabbits, looking to Kame with a slight smirk before turning his head over to catch the Nara guy. "Hey, come on if you're gonna help! We gotta get this thing!" It looked as if all fear had left him, but he was just putting on a face, eager to get this over with. He would rather tackle bandits than a ten foot tall bunny any day. First, he had to catch it! Then, he would try to herd it back toward the ranch. He had some flashbang tags ready for just that…

They had only walked a short distance, when Katsumi's eyes had caught on to a rather large creature. Sure enough… 'A bunny!' In her head, the girl was absolutely ecstatic about having found one. After a moment, though, the creature's sheer size started to make her feel a little nervous. 'Big bunny…' When Shinobu spoke up in that little voice of hers, Katsumi turned her head to regard her but didn't move her eyes. She had to keep it in her sights. "I see it," she said, keeping her voice quiet to not cause a spook.
Of course they should try to get it. That was their mission, wasn't it? Katsumi's only question was, 'How in the heck am I gonna do /that/..?' Then, an idea hit her. "Shinobu-san… What about Mind Lock? It wouldn't hurt it, but it would stun it.. Maybe just long enough for you to make a leash, or something, for us to lead it back to the farm." It was a strong concept, if Katsumi had anything to say about it. Hopefully the genin had a rope…
Tatsuo was starting his patrol when he heard the screaming bunny. Screaming like no bunny had ever screamed before! At least, as far as Tatsuo knew about ten foot tall bunnies. Which wasn't saying much. When he saw the bandits the teen launched forward to get closer before making a hand seal as he landed, drawing water out of the air to start whipping in chains out towards some of the bandits to try and wrap them up.

Shugo would smile a bit at the boy's excitement and reach into one of his packs for the coils of rope he had inside. Looking down at it in his hand, and then to the rabbit, Shugo would laugh a bit quietly to himself. "I think we're going to need more rope.." Shugo explained before starting to move off to the side so he could slip around the creature. "You try staying on the right, I'll stay on its left and we can try getting it to the farm. That's what? Two hops? Kame, can I trust you to drive it foreward from the rear?"
Man, these bandits sure are impressive… They're able to break out of the genjutsu Sasayaku tried to place on them, and the one Daichi aimed at was able to avoid that Leaf Whirlwind! Of course, they're no match for the fearsome Tatsuo! The boy is able to bind two of the six bandits that are there, and they start struggling hard against the chains of water. "Oy, let us out D:" The other four frown when their comrades are caught, and they start sending Jutsu at the Shinobi! Fire and Lightning will eventually try and make its way at the trio of Leaf-nin.
Shinobu umms softly and nods a bit. "Keep it distracted… I'll have it run towards the farm…" she tells the student, making a few handseals to ready her chakra and moving off to the side. "Keep away from its feet," she advises.
Kame would charge after Jun, following and then outrunning the student to get to the bunny. The pup was pretty fast! Best not to underestimate a ninken, Jun » The pup pauses and skids to a halt one she's a few feet from one of the huge feet. Yip! ~Sure! I can do that!~ the pup focuses a bit of chakra and starts to make her behind the bunny… And then she starts barking a lot! Said barking would be amplified by genjutsu, of course, making it seem like there was more than one puppy.

Once she had gotten the approval from her superior, Katsumi began to shift her feet and move her body out of the way - more than happy to avoid the rabbits feet, as she was instructed. With a few hand seals, the student focused her chakra and kept her eyes on her target with a hope that she would be able to stun the giant bunny into a sort of submission. So long as she wasn't turned into jelly, Katsumi would be happy once this was all over - big rabbit where they belonged, and herself back at home and able to attemd class tomorrow.

Slipping out of the way of the fire, Sasayaku doesn't dodge with some amazing amount of speed but instead simply seems to move out of the pathway of the attacks before they even fully reach her. She watches her opponents closely before she frowns and then looks at one of the ones that Tatsuo got and focuses genjutsu on three that aren't subdued, "Good job, Tatsuo." She states rather in a rather monotone manner and focuses on bringing down others. She then looks to Daichi, "Get the rabbit away from them, quickly, it is the mission." She nods her head.

Daichi watched this other jutsu come his way before he simply flipped out of the way in such a way to also get the rabbit moving. "Don't worry Sasayaku. I will get out of here quickly." He then starts trying to herd the rabbit quickly away from this combat area. If he must he would find something fun for him to chase, and run away from the rabbit to get it to chase him… The rabbit wouldn't try to eat him, or think he was a toy right?
COMBAT: Jun defends against OMEGA'S-BARK(24) attack from Shinobu with a TENSE…4
Jun kept around the side of the bunny while Kame took the rear, grinning when the little pup barked and the giant rabbit started hopping forward. "Good work, Kame! Now, for a little extra motivation…" Jun pulled out a few paper tags from his tool pouch and snickered gleefully, setting them to activate with a touch of his chakra and throwing them into the air behind the rabbit.
Suddenly… FLASH! BANG! Three deafening booms filled the air accompanied by subsequent flashes of blinding light. Laughing gleefully, Jun covered his ears for a moment before looking back up to the bunny. Hopefully his little tactic worked to get it to move back towards the farm a little faster.

So long as she wasn't turned into jelly, Katsumi would be happy once this was all over - big rabbits where they belonged, and herself back at home and able to attemd class tomorrow.

"Hai Sasa-sama," Tatsuo replies as more water comes around, keeping the lightning from being able to reach him while still keeping the two bandits distracted. Afterwards that later turns to lash out towards the remaining bandit while more goes after the bunny they had, trying to wrap it up. The amount of chakra that he's controlling all at once is rather…extensive. So he draws on a little extra, a chakra that would give those around him a bit of a sickening feel.

COMBAT: Shugo attacks target 1 with SHADOW-NECK-BIND with a roll of: 26
Kame was a good bark machine for sure, it half made Shugo wonder what else the pup was good at but the Nara would merely follow after the rabbit, forming hand seals to blacken his shadow as he ran and send his shadow toward the rabbit. Those flash bangs worked wonders in their own way, the shadows growing making things easier on Shugo in reaching for the rabbit to try spurring it on. He'd not grab at it so much as let his shadow climb along its side with enough of a physical presence to be felt without trying to harm the creature. He just wanted to make sure it didn't try turning his way. "Keep moving you giant carrot-eater! I want to take my nap!"
Little bunny fufu hopping through the forest, suddenly there's puppies driving it towards the farm D: The giant bunny that Kame is chasing suddenly leaps away, avoiding the illusory dogs while also fleeing from the loud flash-bang. Of course, Shugo grabs it before it hops, so trying to resist that… it gets tired… Fortunately it's back in its pen after two hops! The bunny that Shinobu and Katsumi were dealing with was securely roped by Shinobu and led to the pen as well. Hopefully Katsumi didn't get trapped on! The bandits were also all trapped, meaning… Well, job well done! Same with the third bunny that Tatsuo and Daichi can get back to the pen since the Nara has it in the water chains…
Moving to the bandits, she makes sure they are all tied up. Sasayaku gets them all properly tied and nods to the others as they move, "Well done, all." She calls out as she watches their work before she'll look around and hmm. She starts over toward the farmer either way and will have to speak to him about a cart so she can get the bandits back to Konohagakure easily.
Daichi looks at the bunny getting chained up with a frown. Then he looks at the culprit which must be Tatsuo….or is Isobu partly there? That sickening feeling must be him right? "Tatsuo. I had the bunny. You didn't have to do that. Though I suppose you may be able to help move it along some better then I can. Alright lets take this bunny back." He probably would be more distracted in his sketchbook then anything once they all are done with this little mission.
His plan had worked! Well, it had helped work, which was just as good. And Jun had no problem taking the credit. "I did it!" he yelled, bouncing up and down with huge leaps of success as he grinned over at Katsumi and thumbed his nose before giving her a thumbs up. "Team Uzumaki for the win!" It was just as well that this had been his first mission - at least it got him off with an air of confidence rather than ineptitude. Now at least he would have something to brag about when he got back to the Academy!
Katsumi sighed with a hopeless half of a smile, when the Uzumaki boy bounded in the air with happiness of completing the mission. She and Shinobu had done a pretty find job, too, and the student made sure to give and deep, respectful nod to the genin in appreciation for her help. After that, Katsumi looked back over to Jun and offered her own thumbs up to the boy. "Good job, Jun-san." Hey, she could go along with his ego-manic beliefs. If only for a moment.
They had both succeeded in something, today, even if they hadn't been alone in performing. It was a lesson in teamwork that the girl was going to be sure to jot down in her journal, when she got home.
"Ah, sorry Daichi-kun. I just wanted to make sure it didn't get away." But now that it's wrapped up he can actually lift it a bit and draw the rabbit back to where it belongs. As Sasayaku ties up the bandits he can release the water around them and, after a few of them are done, he can release that hold on the other chakra source too. He watches Jun curiously as the water deposits the critter back in it's pen.
RP: Tatsuo reverts to his normal state.
Shugo would withdraw his shadow as they neared and then watch closely as Mendokuse seemed to celebrate. Smiling a little bit, the Nara would lean down and offer up a bit of rawhide to Kame for her job well done. Once done with that, the Nara would look about in search of Tatsuo, surious about where it was the aquatic Nara might be. Something had seemed a little odd in that as many of them as there were, they seemed to have no conflict when it came to catching the bunny. Perhaps the others handled all of the bandits on their own.
With the bunnies all rounded up, the Farmer wouldn't mind lending his cart to get the bandits back to Konoha. Their reward would be back to the village, of course. "Thanks fer the help!" Bill says cheerfully, waving the group off. Shinobu would bow lightly in return to Katsumi, and Kame would accept the treat from Shugo with a happy yip before taking her prize away and hopping into Shinobu's arms so she can gnaw on it in peace.
