This large and some what old looking building actually predates the true foundation date of Kirigakure. It looks like it was once an old shrine or temple of some sort. The building has many of the attributes of a temple, with Tori Gates around the main building. The stone walls often have worn carvings of some kind that are usually unreadable. However the main purpose of this building is now knowledge and once past the rather impressive metal bound wooden doors covered in protective seals, and past the guards and even more scary looking librarians the building is mostly empty of anything but rows and rows and rows of bookshelves stacked full of books and scrolls with long wooden tables and benches every so often to allow reading of the material.
A second area of information is stored in a even more secure basement of the building were restricted materials and lore are kept. This is not the location of forbidden techniques, which are stored elsewhere, but more of items of importance to the village. Documents such as the original treaty signed by the Mizukage and the village's clans and historical artifacts are on protected display here. Under no circumstances are materials allowed out of the building without the Mizukage's written permission. Although researchers are allowed to make personal copies and notes of material if they take the time. People leaving are searched, no matter what rank, to ensure that materials do not leave the premises.

Saisho is sitting at a table with a set of scrolls and books spread out with a note book that she seems to be taking notes in. The scrolls and such that are open seem to be of various parts of human anatomy and diagrams, most of which probably required opening a body to draw so accurately. One might hope that this was done post death as the images are graphic enough. But none of that seems to bother Saisho as she references book and scroll and seems to be studying quite intently on things and making notes. Her mouth is slightly curved down as she looks lost in thought and concentration.
Walking into the library, Amata spends a great deal of time here. She collects books she needs and then returns them just as quick. She is, as an example, currently returning two books and then walking off toward the greater part of the library for more information when she spots Saisho. She stops and peers at the girl, tilting her head as she walks up and then peers at the books and scrolls. She huhs, "So, first you wish to work on puppetry and now you wish to learn of the body?" She hmms and nods her head, "Interesting and odd." She states and then idly pulls out a chair and sits down beside the girl, "You do realize that you must be careful to not spread yourself too thin dear." She nods her head.
Saisho looks up then grins, "Oh, Hi Amata-Sama, I was working on a side project. Um…" She glances around then still in a hushed voice says, "Please don't tell anyone, but yes, I am studying the body. For one, if my puppet armor is going to work right I have to have all the stuff so it works well with the body. Joints and all, you know? I don't want to make it and find out I can't move right in it." She explains, "But I'm also trying to learn about how the body works. Both to help with poisons, cause Onii-chan says that I need to work with those as a puppeteer, but also cause I want to be able to help hurt people." She hesitates then says, "I don't think I'm spreading myself out too much? Right now I'm waiting on an order from Sunagakure for my next step in building the puppet." She explains.
A chuckle and Amata pats Saisho on the back before saying, "Just be careful, dear." She nods her head, "One can only do so much before you start to be too spread out." She nods her head and then looks over the paperwork, "You ought to meet up with Yoichi at some point." She nods her head, "He is studying this as well." She nods her head, "And Akane would be a wise choice, too, you know." She nods her head, "One is on the same path as you and one has already walked it."
Saisho nods, "Well, I already have talked with Akane, but she's kinda busy with getting ready for the wedding and now… well, I'm not sure what Onii-chan and her are doing for their honeymoon." She grins a bit, "I threatened to go along but for some reason they thought it would be better to go alone." She obviously is joking from the grin on her face, "But…" She looks back to her scrolls, "I don't know um, Yoichi? I don't know him.. her? Him?" She seems unsure, "But anyone who could help would be good I think. I've got a lot of stuff I'm working on all at once but… I think I can do it. Just…" She glances around again, "Just don't tell anyone please? I'm kinda trying to keep this a secret."

Looking at Saisho, she nods and then chuckles, "Yoichi is the wielder of Kiba." SHe nods, "He's a very powerful shinobi but is now looking to ways to heal and help others. He would be a good choice to talk with." She nods her head and then looks at the paperwork and scrolls before saying, "I have thought to looking into it myself but I believe I am already far enough along in the work we do in the Okumo labs."
Looking at her papers, Saisho shrugs, "Well, I kinda have more than one reason to work on this. Mostly cause I think it'll help with some of my armor stuff, but also cause… well…" She hesitates then says, "Cause my… I mean, I think my dad worked with the mednin corps, but… I only know what I remember my mom telling me." She admits, "And even that's kinda foggy now." Her hand slips to her neck, as if checking that something is still there but whatever it is is concealed by clothing, "I don't remember my dad. He died in a war with Konohagakure a long time ago." Well, she says a long time ago but it couldn't have been /that/ long considering her age. Probably just a long time to her.
"I see." She states and then nods her head, Amata watches that hand and hmms as she watches her rub her neck before she just lets it go for now, "Well, it's as good a reason as any." She nods her head, "You do what you believe in." She nods, "Grab your dreams and don't let go of them, Saisho." She nods again before pondering her hands a moment, "Just remember, work hard and it will all work out."
Siasho smiles, "Thank you, Amata-san, you are very kind. You have helped me out a great deal and I won't forget." She says with a nod, "You have encouraged me a lot, and that has helped. Especially when it has been about things I can't talk about with others so much." She admits, "Mostly cause I want some of it to be a surprise. But… also cause I don't want the kids teasing me or picking on me for being smarter than them."
A rare smile comes to Amata's lips. Just a little one. She nods her head, "Don't worry. We smart people have to stick together." She nods her head and then looks at the paperwork, "Now, work hard on this and maybe I'll help you design a change I am working on."S he nods her head, "It's an alteration I'll be making to myself before very long." She then looks over at another scroll, unrolling it and hmming, "Either way, are you enjoying the work so far?"
That gets Saisho's attention, "Change? What… change?" She perks up peering at Amata curiously, "What are you doing?" She whispers with an eager voice. The question about the work forgotten in her sudden excitement that only kids seem to be able to pull off. She practically bounces in her chair, "What are you gonna change?"
A smile and she nods to Saisho, "If I am able to do what I want…I eventually intend to make it so I have more than just one set of arms." She nods her head and then looks over toward the area around before looking back at her, "Give myself extra arms with which to fight so I can create more than just one or even two seal at a time and more easily control the wire of Nuibari and my own webs."
That seems to surprise Saisho and she frowns in thought and sits back in the chair as she tilts her head and peers at Amata. Then she glances at the papers and books, "That'd be hard, your brain isn't meant to control another set of arms I don't think. And all your shirts would have to be custom. And you'd stand out. Or… would it just be some of the time? Cause it'd be really hard to do infiltration missions with an extra set of arms I bet." She points out.
"We'll see exactly how…thing is…you are looking at these charts." She taps those charts and then grins wide, "I'm an Okumo, dear." She nods her head, "Even now…" She idly taps her arms, "I have extra chakra pathways built into my arms that can channel chakra down them to do heavier damage. Much like how a spider sends blood down its limbs to extend them." She then shrugs and then opens up her sleeve a ltitle to reveal a small spinnerette at her wrist, "I'm not normal."
Saisho nods a bit, "Well, I guess. But still, would get in the way sometimes I bet." She says thoughtfully, "I don't think I'd want an extra set of arms. But, I guess some ways my puppets are like extra sets of arms for me, aren't they? So I guess I already have my own set of extra arms, and feet and all of that." She says as she breaks back into a grin, "So not so strange after all, just doing it different ways, right?"
"Possibly." She chuckles and then nods her head, "Besides, if I'm careful I can fold them down under my coat." She pats it and then nods, "Not so obvious if they are hidden under my labcoat, eh?" She nods her head, "And Henge of course."
"Yeah, only I think some can sense henge, those who can sense chakra?" Saisho points out. Then she grins even wider, "Oh! Hey, can you help me with some training this next week? I need some help on something and you'd be just great to help out I think. Would need some of your spiders along of course." She says, trying to sound all mysterious it seems.
A tilt of her head and she nods, "Sure, I can try to help out." She then taps her chin, "Though I will note that I always have spiders with me."S he chuckles, "I never dont' have spiders with me, dear." She nods her head before grinning and idly looking at her coat for a moment.
Saisho nods, "I know, just saying…" She shrugs, "Anyway, I kinda need to get back to studying? Cause I have a few things to get done and some school projects then I need to work on some new diagrams based on all of this and then see if my package from Suna is here yet." She says as she glances at a list. Apparently she's started keeping lists of her 'to do' items.
A chuckle and she nods her head before slowly standing up, "Study well, Saisho." She pats the girl on the shoulder and then starts off away after her own books, "Do not forget to take a break from time to time though, you will drain your own fortitude and stamina if you don't." She nods and moves off.
