Blending seamlessly with the surrounding shantytowns, the grinding electric behemoth of Fuuma Alley welcomes you with neon light and the stink of humanity. Raised tracks carry trams, freight, and sparking power cables over the wide streets between the ordered city blocks of disordered buildings. The expense to light the city under the shadow of sick-colored smog is as staggering as the electricity is sporadic. The apparent secret of Fuuma Alley's booming industrial sector is that there -is- no industrial sector, or rather that the entire town seems to have been zoned for industry. Smokestacks of power stations, mills, and factories can be found on every block. The tramways travel right through some of them, weaving through the second stories of buildings like a bizarre second city over the first. Bars, merchants, and tenement houses catering to the factory workers operate right across the street from the workplaces, or next door, or in a converted mill building, or have been converted into mill buildings themselves. The dams dividing one class and business from another have broken and everyone and everything mingles together in easy reach.

Borin was out on a mission due to the simply but rather dangerous mission he refused to get anyone else involved on this mission. Borin was tasked with obtaining a stolen scroll from the infamous Zorudikku family. Borin tracked the scroll down to Fuma alley it wasn't his favorite place to be but eh it was part of the job as he peered and poked about he searched for clues the storm never let up however it gave him great cover to spy and monitor. "Urgh…I suppose that scroll could give us insight on the Kumo nation."
Yoshi could not have cared less for his current client type, but money was money. So long as the man continued to show some discretion in regards to less savior dealings, the easier it would be to turn a blind eye to it. If there were other guards about however, the mummified giant paid them little heed beyond what was necessary. He simply stood at attention nearby the client. The head of a war hammer rested upon the ground at his side with a hand set atop of it. Although mostly meant for intimidation, the miniature giant could bring it to bear as fast as lightning… or so some speculated.
Borin watched before he dove in in front of the group the over confidence would be pouring out of him as he stood staring at the men. "Surrender the scroll and you all may enjoys eating later today…with teeth of course " Borin cracked his knuckles as he allowed them a chance to respond sadly enough he was hoping they attacked him.
Whereas everyone else were quick to draw whatever weapons were on hand, or even get in front of the boss, Yoshi stayed firmly in place, studying the new arrival. Once satisfied the mercenary lets out a low sigh, then turns to the boss. "An preferences, boss?" He asked calmly, earning the rare glare or chuckle from the other guards. While awaiting for an answer, Yoshi casually brought the hammer about so that the shaft portion rested against a shoulder. Yoshi would wait however long was necessary. But, this didn't mean he couldn't be at least a little prepared for the unexpected.

Borin swiftly dispatched the weaker guards and even knock one through a wall. Yoshi would grab his attention and before he knew it he dashed forward and struck with a powerful punch to the pit of the stomach. "I'm going to try and get everyone and everything in one go so forgive me if my manners are a bit off."
While his gaze had been largely on the boss, the giant was not wholly ignorant of the quick dispatch of most of the other guards. This is made all the more clear by how quickly he reacted to Borin's attack, catching the fist with his free hand. His full attention now caught, only Yoshi's casual turn to fully face his aggressor is what allowed Borin to complete his sentence unimpeded.
Afterwards, the martial arts would have to endure or try to pull free from the giant's grip before his arms becomes twisted painfully. Freeing up his other hand, Yoshi follows up with a haymaker to the jaw, hoping to daze the 'boy' long enough to take hold of his weapon again, and bring in the pick portion into his gut.
Borin attacked was countered as he take a huge hit Borin bell is rung really good and once again he shifted around it before trying to counter the slash but ultimately fails. Blood flies through the air Borin breaths was heavy as he slammed a fist into the ground, "not bad I have to find a way to get ya." Borin dashed forward and struck with a flurry of swift well place joint locks before he spat up and brought another heavy punch into the jab of Yoshi.
The pick side is drawn back viciously after the success. "A way?" Yoshi questions mockingly, only to seemingly be answered with another flurry of attacks. What he cannot ward off eventually due to speed and tactics, the mercenary eventually turns to sacrificing the hammer all together to avoid having his joints locked in place. "Foolish." He states grimly, stepping in and jabbing hard with a knife hand. Bandages about the hand are shredded along the finger tips as a transformation takes place. Fingers were transformed into calcified bone meant to shred through Borin's punch. Regardless of success or failure, Yoshi is not hesitant to continue brutalizing Borin with a series of fast past punches.
Borin attack was dodged and then countered as he staggers back blood flew from his mouth, Borin head rung as his brain bounced around in his head the attack stunned his knees thus dodging was impossible. Borin would try to focus out an attack however a pain splitting headache caused the slight moment of hesitation racked another powerful strike the pain took him tightly and caused a strong vomit to fly from his mouth as he slapped his fist onto the ground and attempted to strike at Yoshi with the last of his strength.
By the time Yoshi has finished his barrage, his fingers have reverted to normal. An idle glance is given to the normalized hand, seeming to grant Borin an opening for one final and clean attack. It was a mistake. Beyond casting his gaze in Borin's direction, there are no outward attempts to deflect or ward off the blow. Nevertheless, the feeling of striking something harder than even steel would reverberate through the Iwa shinobi's hand, worsening his condition further.
"Oh great! Just sailing fan-tastic! Don't just let him keep staining my place of business. Finish him already!" The head of the family and Yoshi's client called from his seat, drawing but a brief glance from the giant. Wordlessly after, Yoshi would try to forcefully grab Borin by the throat, lift him into the air, and then choke the remainder of the boy's life out of him.
As he laid there gasping what he believe were some of his last breathe images flooded his head they were of his friends and family. Just then something happen his body moved all on its own allowing him to flash out of the two attacks and narrowly escaping deaths door as he was on his foot he smirked. "Its not going to end like this…I will defeat you!?" Dashing forward Borin leapt forward with his final strike at that moment eyes appeared behind him and soon Borin head was flying through the air, a slinder man with an expressionless face stood behind his with long flowing black hair holding the scroll which Yoshi suppose to have been protecting. His family crest was that of Zorudikku as he stood there for a brief moment. The client was also dead if Yoshi would have seen it his head was rolling across the floor. The expressionless man looked at Yoshi and waved a false greeting as he looked at him. "I have the scroll and your client is dead there is no reason for you to pursue." The tone was soft scarey and dreadful all in one the man turned to walk away as the pressure he emitted intensified.

And just like that, it was over. Yoshi had scarcely considered taking up his hammer again for a more brutal end when before the end. He did not dare to watch the head — heads roll out of self-preservation. Even before the man spoke up, his form, expression — or more importantly, lack there of — bespoke a warning to primal instincts.
»He is right, geki… Let this one go. I sense—«
The rest goes unheard as Yoshi growled under breath at the inner voice. To his greater annoyance, he could find no counter point with pursuing. Still, he remained on guard until the man left, brain racing between questions and purpose. Ultimately, the mummified mercenary accepted the loss, and the need to make a quick exit. He even considered moving to the proverbial greener pastures for his kind, seeing as how he failed in his task.
Doggedly, the memory of the day's event would however continue to gnaw at him…
