Arashi, Reza, Sanda, and a few others go chasing after the pirate they met last time. Or so they think…
"The Pirate Kings - Island Assault"
Land of Lightning
After the last encounter with a pirate ship Arashi had learned about a certain few things. Namely a map that Sanda had found that she decided wasn't worth mentioning at the time. He let her keep it of course, but he still needed it. The map was a direct link to every pirate who pretty much owned a piece of land here. Arashi was sent out to get a team together and he first got Sanda because of that map, and Reza to once again lead the mission. He was firstly a Jounin, and he was already a part of this and knew the pirate world more than even Arashi did. Two more were brought along and after looking through peoples files and thinking about what challenges they may face he gather Raion and Ryouji up too. They were all on the ship now and heading out for their destination. Probably gathered around Reza so he could discuss the plan. Reza alone would be told that it seemed the person they thought he killed last time wasn't dead, and for whatever reason was still alive. WHere was he at? On an island not far from Kumo itself. A lot of enemies are to be expected, and just like last time if stealth can be used it would be a good thing to use. The more that can be done without causing a giant fight the better.
Arashi was looking at Sanda and wondering about the map. Reza didn't know about it, and just knew that he was supposed to be there. Though Reza may know of the type of map. It is one that tracks the locations of every pirate by chakra running through pictures and moving them. If they die…the picture turns to ashes. He would look at it later to make sure, but he figured the pirates might be getting drunk after a raiding party about now. "Alright Reza. What is the assault plan for this island?"
Reza would ponder the question for a moment before doing a bit of math in his head. "Okay. Simple in concept. Get into their base of operations, find our target cut his throat, go home take a nap." Going quiet for a moment he'd draw a kunai out for no reason other than to spin it around his finger. "We can either rely on our stealth to get us through their numbers and quietly track our target. Or we create a diversion in one location, enter the HQ from another and work to find and eliminate the target in the middle of the commotion. I haven't personally worked with you guys and while I do it, I feel assuming you know someone's strengths just from their file is rude. So what can you all bring to the table, that'll determine our route."
Raion doesn't want ANYTHING TO DO with water. As such, he is avoiding the edges of the ship entirely. Him and Pansa. He is literally sitting on the floor of the ship, dead middle of it, listening possibly from afar with his chakra enhanced hearing. Any splash of water that laps up onto the ship earns an almost panicked look from Raion, before he realizes it is too far to touch him, and returns to sulking away from the water. He isn't sea sick, just… Not happy about the water. Pansa is curled up beside him, seeming much calmer and more logical, though, he doesn't like the water any more than Raion does, but he's got enough sense to know he's safe from the horrid liquid. Raion, if far away, yells out, and if close, calls out, "I have extremely good hearing and can move extremely quickly when neccessary. I have a little knowledge of Lightning Ninjutsu, and can use basic medical ninjutsu."
Ryouji is enjoying being on a ship again. He's standing at the bow, looking out over the ocean. Before turning back and saying, "I say we bust in as fast as we can, and kill 'em all. That's the idea right? Annihilate everyone there?" He adds, "Swords, lots of swords…" he touches the hilt of Lightning Cutter, not to mention all the swords on his back. "Lightning and a bit of wind as well." He won't mention his rap genjutsu.
Sanda would have it in a water-proof pouch. The map, that is. She was leaning against the side of the ship, frowning a bit as she looked off towards the horizon. She wasn't sure if she liked this… But she had to accept it, right? The girl sighs a bit, then. But people were all here, and it seemed as if Arashi was starting to talk about things. And Reza. So she would get up and make her way over, listening to the plan. "Umm… Not much. I am not that great at anything shinobi-related, really." She shrugs a bit, hoping Reza or Arashi knew her strengths enough that they could still place her.

Arashi looked at Reza for a moment before nodding. "Yeah that does sound like a good plan doesn't it? One of the two I mean. I am sure a good distraction could be provided… Have us split off into two groups maybe and one deal with distracting everyone." He looked at Ryouji with a smirk. "If we go that route I am sure he could lead it. And then you do the stealth to finish off this guy." He sighed a bit before looking over the water. "Doesn't seem like we are that far away from there now does it?" He looked onwards as the sky neared sunset. Of course sunset. "Sanda… Could you… Go get the thing from the captains quarters?" She should know he meant look at the map and make sure they weren't leaving which luckily they weren't. "And you should know my skills Reza right?" He asked with a chuckle.
Over on the island one of the pirates stepped outside the pub he was in. Not long later he went to walk back in, but got pulled into a dark alley nearby suddenly and with a silent scream as blood splashed against the wall of the pub. Looks like the team of Shinobi weren't the only predators tonight. The scene shifts to Nikko himself. The man who Reza would recognize as the one he killed. Except something was different about him. He looked bigger underneath the cloak he wore. Something didn't sit right as he looked off into the distance from his balcony on his island mansion.
Reza would nod towards everyone as they spoke up. Looking towards Sanda he'd give her a comforting smile before speaking. "Okay, Ryouji you're head of the distraction team. I want you to get in, bring the ruckus take out as many enemies as you can safely handle but make sure you get out before you're swarmed." Tapping his chin he'd nod towards Arashi. "Arashi and Sanda could be good support to balance out the skillsets if there's no objection there. Raion can come with me to help me trackdown our undying friend. If Arashi goes with Ryouji he can use the laser beam technique to act as a signal flare to let us..and them know your location, use it once you're ready to retreat from your location and use the hidden mist to keep the odds in your favor. Stay moving and don't get swamped in the same spot. Once we find our target we'll aim to end it as quickly as possible, I'll blow something up when the deed is done. Any suggestions, amendmants, complaints, additional ideas?"
Raion listens to the plan and considers. "I'm good at finding people! Well.. More eavesdropping and finding anything that makes even the slightest sound! Fighting is also something I think I can do!" Raion still hasn't moved. He still wants NOTHING TO DO with water.
Ryouji shakes his head, "Nah, I'm good. Ready when you are, Arashi-san." But it's a good bet that Ryouji is more than ready. He charges up his chakra as he leaps over the side of the ship and hits the water running. He leaves a wall of water in his wake as he runs heading right for the island. Ryouji beings a rap as he runs,
"Oh yeah here it comes. Ready to rock.
Time's counting down zero on the clock!
Watching me fight will make you nervous.
But to show fear would be a disservice.
I'm overhere watching, every day every night.
Am I getting over my head? That isn't right.
But get outta the way, I'm ready to fight! YEEEEEEAH!"
Ryouji already has two blades out, one in each hand as he rushes foward along the water towards the island and buildings. Even though it looks like he's rushing, he is keeping his senses tuned to anyone ahead of him and where the best targets might be.

Sanda would nod slowly to Arashi, frowning a bit. "Fine…" she would go to get it after the plan was offered. "No, it sounds fine…" she says to Reza before making her way to the captain's quarters. Then she would remove the map from that pouch she had before making her way back out. "Got it," she says, coming over to miss the rapping Ryouji. "Umm…" Where did that guy go? Oh well… "Here, I have it. Let me know when we need it? Or do you wanna see it now, Arashi?"
Arashi looked at Reza and listened and honestly thought the plan was a very good one. "Alright Reza. Nice idea." He looked back at the others when suddenly Ryouji took off. "Wai-…. We aren't as quick as you…" He sighed a bit. "Reza… I guess you get to take the ship around the side and start looking since Ryouji seems to prefer the head on assault." He grabbed for Sanda's hand and pulled her along to the edge of the ship. "I just wanted to make sure he was still here. That is all. I am sure he is, but no harm in checking." He would let her check and join her before getting that out of the way. Seemed he was indeed stil there. "Alright Sanda. We get to leg it the rest of the way to the island since Ryouji already hopped away." He would hop on over and start running.
Oh Ryouji how much fun you must be expecting. The boat was still out of sight because of the area they were coming from, but Ryouji was quickly in sight. He would notice a large reserve of chakra notably in these cannons that were now aimed right at him. They suddenly all…well…almost all fired. Seemed the guy that was just there a second ago wasn't there anymore, but… something was where his body should of been standing. A chakra signature that was slowly growing in size. Of course what it was wasn't seen yet. Arashi and Sanda would still be out of range as would Reza and Raion. Ryouji could probably also note a lot of small chakra signatures surrounding a bigger on in the middle of town.
Reza would thumbs up everyone before Ryouji would leap away taking off. Chuckling he'd shake his head before taking to his feet and nodding towards Raion. "We won't be on the water for much longer." With that Reza would listen to Ryouji's rap before smiling wide.
"Few can pick up the slack when Reza Blade attacks. Make fat stacks when I bring in the slum rats.
A legit killjoy , oo boy. It's a thrill, kunai send chills when I kill.
"Step to the Cloud all slice, all dice. But no deals."
Reza would remain on the boat with Raion presumably until the ship moved to a different portion of the shore. "All righty, this is where we step off." Tapping his chin he'd reach into his back pocket removing a random ring. "This belonged to our target, use it to find his stench out from the rest. Sound good?" He'd say offering Raion the ring before hopping off the boat and scanning his surroundings.
Raion gets up and runs over to Reza and takes the ring. Pansa follows a bit slower. And Raion practically presses the ring against Pansa's nose. "Smell! Find!" He commands with a smile, clearly having fun annoying the panther-cat thing. He recoils, but does as Raion commanded. "Fine. But stop that!" Raion and Pansa both hop off after Reza, Pansa sniffing to try and track the scent best he can.

Ryouji bursts into his blur mode as he runs. He sees the arcing balls of chakra and pushes his blur mode even farther for split seconds for each dodge. He jinx to the left avoiding one explosion. However, he gets nailed stumbling as he moves to the right. His arm is scorched, but he'll live. He skids onto a three point stance and growls. "You get one….everyone gets one." he says narrowing his eyes, then disappears. He moves even faster now, pulling lightning cutter out and moves with ease and speed. He reaches each team, slicing at each person with the blade before disappearing and another and another. Ryouji reappears, sliding his blade back into his saya with a click. "And only one."
Sanda would reveal the map. It's the map, it's the map, it's map, it's the map! … Ahem. Sanda would glance over to Arashi and nod slowly. "That… I feel like we should be careful…" And she was right. Because Ryouji nearly turned into barbecue. (Yum). Sanda leaps off the side of the ship and starts running across the water, glad that Kaoru taught her how to do this before she entered Kumogakure's forces. She'd stick to his side, narrowing her eyes a bit as the wind whipped at them.
Arashi watched as flames of chakra rushed at Ryouji. "I am glad he can handle himself. Of course I would hope him doing this meant he knew he could." He chuckled a bit. "Alright Sanda. We just have to start making a lot of noise." He said as they reached the shore. The others were now focused on Ryouji allowing Arashi and Sanda to only encounter a few roaming pirates on the shore line. Of course there was a big one there that seemed ready to duke it out and smash some heads together. "Alright Sanda… You try to dispatch a few of the weaker ones and I will try to hit a few of them and trap the big guy." And he would hop to it quickly forming a small cloak of chakra around him that shined the same color as his storm skills. Needles were then formed and shot at some small guys as water was spit out to hit the big one.

Well it seemed that the Pirates were indeed distracted by all the commotion elsewhere as Reza and Raion didn't have to worry about anything right away. In fact it seemed like a straight path of roads right towards the mansion where the boss stayed at. Raion and Pansa would be able to easily point out his destination, and they would be able to get to that building pretty much without any trouble unless they made their own.
All of Ryouji's targets were quickly running for the seas when he slays each one quickly without any trouble. Seemed they were actually pretty weak besides those set up cannon blasts. That chakra though even without looking for it showed itself. It was moving closer and still growing. And then right around the corner came a monster for lack of a better term. It looked to be a human…maybe even the face of the pirate you have come here to kill, but the rest of it was a mix of different things, and in it's mouth seemed to be an arm that it shoves down its throat before belching. More chakra grows within it. "Finally I have someone to play with who might fight back." He looked at Ryoui before tentacle like whips lashed out to knock Ryouji away and skipping across the water if he was to get hit.
One of the targets for Arashi went down without a pinch, but the Big guy simply smacked the water away and charged both Arashi and Sanda before trying to slam both of them back into the water. All the other pirates luckily were trying to grab their weapons still.
Reza would as a certain Tucan once said. Follow the nose. Letting Raion and his cat take point he'd cover their flank kunai drawn prepared to take on anything they encountered. As explosions sounded off on the other side of things he'd simply smirk. "Sounds like they're having fun. Keep your nose working the faster we find what we're looking for the faster we can join them and celebrate a successful mission." With the pathway towards where he suspected the pirate might live clear, Reza would have to give props to Ryouji's team in their merry making.
Pansa leads the way to the source of the scent. Raion right behind him keeping a careful ear out for trouble. Raion looks at Reza and nods. "That does sound pretty fun. Wish I could go over there! Pansa! Faster! Track the scent boy!" Pansa looks annoyedly at Raion, "I'm not a dog! And the source of he scent is that building ahead. At least I'm fairly certain it is." Raion nods. "Perfect! Let's go!" Raion darts forward suddenly with shocking natural speed. Pansa not hesitating long before following behind.

Ryouji nods at his handiwork. Then hears the voice behind him and twists around as the tentacle hits him in the side sending blood flying one way and Ryouji the other to skip across the water. He bounces a few times off the surface before crashing to a stop painfully and with a mighty splash. Well, Ryouji might fight back. In the water now, Ryouji has his eyes shut and floats there a moment before a surge of chakra flows across his body. Lightning plays across the aura a second later and Ryouji pulls himself up. "Well now, this'll be entertaining…" he says checking the wound. He'll live for now, but it'll need to be patched up sooner or later. Ryouji makes a hand sign as his arm begins glowing with chakra more than the rest of his body. "Let's go!" he shouts as explodes into movement heading towards the freak. He lashes out at him once, then instantly hits him from another angle as he comes around with that high speed lariat once more for good measure.

Sanda would frown a bit and sigh. "You had to go attacking them?" The girl would quickly make a few handseals, forming orbs made of her storm chakra so that they surround her and make a simple shield for her to hide behind. The Hizumu would block the man who was incoming, trying to distract him with genjutsu and anyone else who might be nearby. Just not allies. Do not attempt friendly fire!

Arashi frowned as Sanda spoke. Storm orbs of his own came out to block the man. "Hush. It isn't like they are a threat. I mean look. I can probably still pay more attention to you AND win this fight." Then suddenly he turned and clones just started running from the water at everyone here. It was a nice show, but the main one being jumped was the big guy. Arashi himself was just standing back shaking his head at Sanda.

When Reza and Raion made it to the building they would notice what seemed to be a lack of guards. In fact even Ryouji if he was able to pay attention to chakra would notice all those little specks from earlier were gone. Where too? Well there was another mass of chakra growing underground it seemed.. Some sort of basement?
Ryouji after being struck to the ground wouldn't even get a chance to fight back before the water started rippling. It would halt his movements as little waves came from all sides to push him around and then suddenly he would be launched high into the air by a geyser like attack if he wasn't careful. It would be followed up by mroe tentacles being shot out to grab him and slam him down onto the shore.
The Big Pirate and half of his team were still free from genjutsu, but the others were under it. Then the clones attack and those under genjutsu were knocked around, and the big pirate himself was even knocked into a stumble before recovering. "Oi! Who do you think you are messing with us?!" He placed his hands onto the ground after a few seals and suddenly rock golem like version of him came out and charged the clones and then charged Sanda and Arashi.
Upon entry Reza would slap a seal at the entrance to warn him should anyone enter the same way. "I don't like this. Maybe out distraction teams a bit too good." Reza would take the time to look around the area before nodding. "Look around, gotta make sure we're not missing something." He'd move around the room checking every nook and cranny he could to make sure they didn't miss anything. "Scan the area, see if you can find anything useful. Gotta be quick, make sure we're not leaving the distraction team hanging."

Raion enters the room and darts around extremely quickly. Hopping onto the walls and ceiling even! Cat ears chakra-charged as he listens for so much as an extra heartbeat in the room! "Got it. IF SOMEONE'S IN HERE COME ON OUT!" Raion calls out with a smile on his face, as if he's just playing a friendly game of hide and seek!

Ryouji pushes his kekkei genkai farther still as he goes into his third mode. The aura disappears, only replaced by flaming eyes that leak the green and blue chakra. Ryouji breathes hard and fast as his body is being pushed more than normal. But he smiles at it as he flickers in and out of view with each attack. He leaps over the ripples, landing next to the freak again and slipping under the tenticles. He clicks open his hip sword to reflect just a bit of light into the eyes. Then holds his hand out which beings to crackle with electricity before….BOOM! Lightning shoots out like a gun shot.

"Umm… You say that, but I'm nowhere near your level, Arashi," Sanda would point out dryly. The girl would try to turn her attention back to the battle field, glad for the small respite from attacks. … That apparently didn't exist. She ends up getting knocked back by a rock golem, and she slams into a nearby wall or something, wincing a bit. "Oww…' she mutters, thinking her head was spinning just a bit…

Arashi frowned as Sanda got hit and he was nearly hit himself from the distraction, but a clone took his place in time before Arashi moved to her. "Oh… Are you alright?" He asked before turning his head back to the big guy….then suddenly…an explosion off in the distance happens…. "What…is that Reza telling us he did it? Alrighty then.. Good to know." He raised his palms and suddenly chains shot at the big guy again. Chains also tried to grab anyone else remaining here if they could.

The building seemed pretty much empty. That was until Raion spoke up and said that if anyone was there to come on out. And someone indeed came out. That someone being the big bad pirate they had to deal with and his cloak was now removed showing what looked to be wings growing on his back, but they were dying seemingly just as quick. "Oh..You wanna play kid? Oh we will play then. Oh we will play. But not today… I have not perfected myself yet… You keep killing my clones, but…." He looks to Reza. "You won't kill me. I will make sure of it by killing you with this!" He grinned and suddenly his wings wrapped around him as if to protect himself…..and BOOM! The house explodes with Reza and Raion still inside. Multiple explosions going off giving them little time to escape.
Ryouji's opponent just would not hold up and stopped all the attacks against him. "Food. I need food." He then charged at Ryouji as if to grab him by wrapping his tentacle arms around his chest. His mouth opening wide as if to start chewing into Ryouji right then and there! "I AM HUNGRY! YOU WILL FEED ME!"
The big pirate knocks away the chains again, but his team seemed to be retreating. "Fine…" The explosion going off seemed to rattle them. "I will end you and escape in one move." He growled before forming more seals as the ground opened up right where they all were. It would drop them into a hole that would then suddenly close to try and crush them. ALl the minions being trapped by water sadly also fell in the hole…and get crushed from lack of way out.

Reza would be mid looking under a table as he heard the footsteps. Quickly hopping to his feet he'd note the distance between him and Raion. Knowing how this guy faught before he'd prepare his chakra for an immediate defense…that is until he saw the wings. "What…the…. RAION WATCHOUT!" With that Reza would splurt a massive amount of water from his mouth, the water would form a wall within the house dampening the blast's force but still packing enough to send Reza flying out along with debris. Taking a hard landing outside he'd skid for a few seconds before flipping back up to his feet already. His eyes open wide for both Raion and the target's location. He'd be more than ready to launch either an assault or to defend once again once the dust settled.

Raion watches the man that comes out and listens, and as he says 'this!' Raion darts forward, planning on delivering a claw strike, though he had to act fast. His eyes suddenly become much more slitted, and he becomes a blur of motion leaping into the air, though he's not fast enough and gets shot even higher than intended by the explosion. Him and Pansa. Though but hit the ground hard and roll, Pansa doesn't really try to land on his feet, instead just laying still for a moment before getting up. Raion hits the ground, rolls, and lands on all fours. His stance is strangely feline as his slitted eyes dart around, before finally looking up at the sky. "Hey! Get back here!" Raion calls out in a growl that… Honestly is rather unusual to hear coming from /him/ of all people. He tries to give chase but.. Can't fly so he just grumbles as he reverts to normal again. Pansa moving to his side, staring at him a little worriedly.

Ryouji flickers out of the way, using his speed in higher and higher bursts. He breathes deep but isn't completely out of the fight yet. Ryouji says, "Then eat this!" He launches his attack, running at high speed and slicing and dicing the freak of nature.

Sanda would shake her head a bit. "I'm fine…' she mutters, grumpy that she was even knocked back like that. Then Arashi protects her… "I didn't need your help," she huffs. Okay, maybe she did, but she was in a bad mood. Sanda makes a few handseals, and genjutsu would hopefully touch the minds of those nearby so that Arashi could definitely get his hit in. Whatever he was doing.

Arashi frowned and just quickly tossed Sanda aside as a clone fell into the hole alongside him. Both of them and plenty of others were crushed inside the walls and it just spit them back up when they were done. He lies on the ground a moment before standing, and he spots that the guy was stunned. "Alright….. THis is what I have been waiting for… Lets send a signal." He would talk with Sanda later, but for now his palms were raised and storm energy formed around him spinning slightly. "This….is what you get." And beams fired outwardly to kill all before him.

Reza and Raion lost their target as he took flight and flew away quickly. What they wouldn't know is he had to land quickly as the wings faded away, and he simply landed on a nearby ship that was at a hidden dock just in case this kind of thing happened. "GO NOW! We need to get far away before those shinobi find us." He ordered and went to rest as he felt another piece of him start fading away.
Ryouji would indeed slice and dice his target that didn't seem to be dead yet even. It did fall over and lie there weak. "I…..need to feed….." It's arm and actual arm this time…reached out to grasp weakly at Ryouji's ankle as he tried to bite on one last time…. If Ryouji looked closely it would seem to be some poison on his teeth… Just before he could get to biting him a piece of wood from the explosion came out of the sky and spear the monsters head into the ground with a splat.
The Big Pirate and his crew didn't expect any lives to be saved or that they would survive the earth… They must have a lot more durability than they though… and for that they would pay when genjutsu overtook them. Suddenly beams of energy knocked them out of that as they went flying. The Big Pirate tried to use a body to protect fromt he second, but it didn't help. It tore through the body and he crashed to the ground dead with a thud.
Reza would frown as the smoke cleared having lost their target. Mental note: Pirates can fly now…. Noticing Raion making it out of the explosion not looking too bad he'd shake off his frown. "Wings…really…Wings? This report is going to be fun to explain. Raion you okay? If so then we need to.." With that Reza would notice the lights indicative of an excessively bright Storm technique. "Let's get a move on high tail it back to the boat if you're up for it. Have em extract us from the distraction team's landing zone. I'll move with you but split off once I'm sure that thing isn't still around to help them with clean up and departure." With that Reza would make sure Raion was up to it before taking off to enact his plan.
Raion looks at Reza, and nods. His usual smile suddenly returns to his face. "I'm fine! And I'm ready to go!" Raion then darts off with alll the speed he can manage until he inevitably made it the the ship! He leaps onto the deck and Pansa follows shortly behind as he annouces to the ship, "Time for pickup!" And making sure everything goes smoothly in that sense.

Ryouji sees the signal, very pretty laser beams. Ryouji disappears just as the tentacle comes whipping at him. No dinner for this guy today. Ryouji reappears a short distance away and then takes off running. He's in not much of a condition to fight much longer anyway. Ryouji needs a cool beverage and a few yards of bandages.

Sanda would frown just a bit and shake her head before following Arashi. I mean, she had to get up because she was sorta shoved over when Arashi took that hit for her… "Good one," she would compliment, dusting herself off. "I guess… we should wait for the ship, huh…" She would frown and take out the map that only she and Arashi knew about, staring at it for a bit to try and find the pirate they were just chasing.
Arashi sat with her and looked at the map. "I see… He isn't far and seems to be retreating…. But… right now after all this I think we need rest.. We will get him eventually. Next time he won't be able to run." He frowned slightly. "Sanda… Don't question my decisions on a mission alright? Especially not one I make to save your life." He didn't give her a chance to respond before standing up. Not long later the boat would come by and pick them and Ryouji up and they all would make their way back to Kumogakure with a mission rated as a partial success. At least the dwindled the numbers of pirates. And…who knows what Reza is doing?

Sanda would tuck the map away. Then she blinks a bit when he just walks away. "Wha- I wasn't…" She scowls and would just shake her head. She knew she was useless on this mission v.v; But even then, she didn't like how Arashi just threw himself into danger when she was expendable. The girl would sigh and make her way after Arashi so she could get to the ship, at least.
