Summary:
Two patrols of genin set out, only to meet up at a scheduled stop. What ensues is… chaos.

"Murasame Strife - To Trust or Not; A Fight at a Fork"
Land of Earth
Genin are naturally assigned lower-ranked mission, of course, and today's is no different! This mission was less of a mission for some due to what it entailed: guard duty. The patrol route was short and sweet for the team of genin being sent out, so hopefully that meant that there would be as little trouble as possible. Who knows what will await them, though? Certainly no one important! … The letters were sent the day before, instructing Toujitakumi Nendo, Murasame Kaneko, Murasame(?) Akio, and Gansao Mitsue to meet at the village gates at dawn. And aged Chuunin stood there with a scroll for the group, but he would not assist them. This was their mission, and theirs alone.
Kaneko arrived on time, though with a small yawn. Her cloak was inside-out today, hiding the clan symbol that she tended to display proudly throughout the village. She bows lightly to the Chuunin in greeting and her grey eyes turn up lazily to the sky. Early mornings were rough… But at least the dawn was beautiful. The skyline was a bit orange and slowly giving way to blue skies, promising clear weather for the day.
Akio was willing to accept what was given to him for the most part. Helps him learn more about this place at the very least. Upon arrival he notices the Chuunin already here and Kaneko who was there already. "Morning…" He finds some place to sit/stand where he can be comfortable until they leave for the mission. For now he would mostly stay silent, and just respond to things other said if it was directed to him.
Toujitakumi Nendo wouldn't dwadle in getting to the gates but that didn't stop the Toujitakumi from showing up somewhat damp as he went through his new morning ritual of a long soak in the medicinal baths before the day. It was good for his arm but it still needed to be kept covered in his sleeve until he was fully healed if possible. Dressed in a tan colored right-sleeved tunic and his black pocketed pants, the Toujitakumi made his way toward Kaneko and the strange new arrival as well. Since they were going to be on a patrol, Nendo wore his pack that buckled to the back of his shirt as well, it was good for carrying any extra supplies he might need. Producing his forehead protector and strapping it about his head as a bandana, the Toujitakumi would flash a smile to the other two. "Morning; is everyone ready for today?"
Mitsue was a much happier person now, ever since he'd finally found his parents and, with Nendo and the Tsuchikage's help, brought them home safely. Not that there was much of a home for them to go to. They had a temporary apartment for the moment while they rebuilt the house and sure it was cramped but it was better than nothing! He hadn't stayed at Nendo's the night before so when he finally arrived at the gates and saw Nendo was there he felt relieved. As he nears the group he gives a smile to the two he knows before looking to Akio. He reaches to a pouch and pulls out a small business card. It reads: 'Hello, I am Gansao Mitsue. It's nice to meet you.'
The Chuunin looks between everyone, counting them mentally. 4. Yes, that was the assigned number. "Ahem… As you all should know, this is a basic patrol route. You're to keep an eye on things as you go along. If you run into any trouble, don't do anything but report back. We don't need you to fight out there. However, if bandits try to attack you… Well, I don't think it'd be too much of an issue if you defended yourselves. Hehe.. We don't need our young ones dead." The Chuunin hands the scroll to Nendo, who seems to be the most mature, and says, "The scroll contains your route. You're likely to meet up with another team of genin that we sent out earlier this morning at this point. I suggest exchanging a bit of information with them. Now then, any questions?" If not, the man would wish them good luck and depart.
Kaneko would blink a few times but grin to those who showed up. "Akio-kun. Nendo-sensei. Mitsue-kun. Let's give it our all, hai?" She doesn't sound as cheerful as she usually does, but maybe once they set out it'll be a bit better. The girl's eyes shift so that she can pay attention to the Chuunin's instructions, and she nods slowly with each suggestion. "No questions here!" she tells the older man, giving a quick salute.
Akio accepts the card from Mitsu and reads it. Then he looks back to him with an odd look. "Hello? My name is Akio.. Do you not speak?" He seemed confused by all this, and quickly shrugs that away as the Chuunin speaks. When he is done Akio just looks over the others not sure how to react. "Hello Kaneko…" He shakes his head in the Chuunin direction before waiting himself for the others to lead on.
Nendo would take the scroll and open it to look over the route they'd be taking, reading it calmly and quietly before rolling it once more and storing it in his pouch for now. "No, that was all I needed to know, we'll report in after the patrol is completed." Nendo stated while he began stepping beyond the gates to lead the group where it was they needed to. Once beyond the gates, Nendo would simply turn about to look at everyone gathered and look them over for a moment. "We'll move in a single-file line. Kaneko, I want you at the rear watching out backs. Akio, I want you behind me watching the front, and Kitsue, I need you behind Akio and before Kaneko at the ready to use your Genjutsu to assist any of us if conflict appears." Nendo explained while looking over the group with a bit of a smile on his lips.
"Akio, I don't know your abilities but I can see you're no stranger to physical combat so if I come across conflict I look forward to counting on you in that respect. Mitsue, spread your Genjutsu over all of us so that we can hear you the instant you notice something off. " The Toujitakumi spelled out before a light nod of his head signaled he was finished and the older teen turned about to start off along their route.
Mitsue simply shakes his head at Akio at the question of whether or not he speaks. That would be a no. Violet eyes peer out from underneath the hood as he looks towards the Chuunin, giving him a shake of his head as well. No questions! As they prepare to move out Mitsue flashes through hand seals, casting a genjutsu over the other three Genin. The only way he can really 'speak'. Of course they can fight it off but then they just wouldn't be able to hear him! ~It's nice to meet you Akio,~ he says simply before looking to Nendo who had the scroll. ~I'll keep an eye out and let you know if I see anything.~
COMBAT: Mitsue focuses 2217 stamina to turn it into 2500 usable chakra!
COMBAT: Kaneko defends against AUDITORY-HALLUCINATIONS(22) attack from Mitsue with a TENSE…11
Kaneko feels the slight sensation that genjutsu makes her feel and takes a breath so she doesn't fight it off. It wasn't bad this time. The girl would offer a grin to Nendo and nod. "Hai!" She waits for the others to fall in line before trailing after the group herself, looking around cautiously despite the fact that they've only just left the village. Who knows what dastardly demons awaited them out there? Kaneko's hand rests on the hilt of her sword so that she can draw it quickly if need be. Hopefully that need never arises… Naturally, nothing bad is going to happen the first few minutes that a group sets out, as they're extremely close to the gates of Iwagakure.
COMBAT: Akio defends against AUDITORY-HALLUCINATIONS(29) attack from Mitsue with a TENSE…8
Akio nods slowly to his instructions, and gets in line. When the genjutsu comes across him he doesn't fight it even though it was probably not something he would able to yet. "Nice to meet you as well Mitsue." Then he continued further along in silence only keeping a small eye out for now. Nothing is expected, but might as well be a little ready in case.
COMBAT: Akio focuses 1330 stamina to turn it into 1500 usable chakra!
COMBAT: Nendo defends against AUDITORY-HALLUCINATIONS(26) attack from Mitsue with a TENSE…9
COMBAT: Nendo focuses 4265 stamina to turn it into 5500 usable chakra!
Nendo would dip a hand into his pocket and begin rolling a pair of large clay orbs in his right hand to work the muscles as they walked. The Toujitakumi wouldn't try sensing things just yet but would turn his attention to the youngers behind him. "Try taking a look around you and let me know what you see from here on out.. I am keeping an eye on the terrain directly ahead of us but you all will be watching the other territories. Left, right, and behind." Nendo stated as he closed his eyes briefly and listened to the sounds of the animals around them.
Mitsue gets to his spot in the line as the go, moving single file as was instructed. With the genjutsu in place now he can actually talk to the group, but he's not one to really just chatter away, so that mature voice in their minds remains silent for the time being. As they exit the gates and begin walking further away he looks around, trying to keep his attention everywhere at once so he doesn't miss anything…
RPCOMBAT: Mitsue defends against with a PERCEPTION…24
RPCOMBAT: Kaneko defends against with a PERCEPTION…13
Kaneko looks around, but she doesn't spot anything suspicious. Or she just doesn't think the right things /are/ suspicious. The girl, regardless, does not sound the alarm for anything. The beginning of the trip is truly dull, though. Mitsue might notice the random animal here or there, but otherwise all is peaceful. How nice! Given the pace, it'll likely take an hour to complete the route, which is about 3.5 miles long, barring complications. "I don't see anything yet, Nendo-sensei," she reports after they've traveled a decent distance.
Akio would start looking around, but his real senses lied in his ability to sense through the earth some. Every time his foot touched the ground it was like another wave of information came in. Hopefully if anything was nearby he would spot it, and not cause anything bad to happen. "I don't see anything either. Will keep looking though."

At the fork of this path, Nendo would look along the roads and then up toward the trees before kicking off up into the branches and landing on one sturdy enough to support him while he eyed the surrounding rocky forests and paths. "We're going left from here. Be mindful of the slope, it's covered in gravel from here on until we get to the bottom of this hill." Nendo would warn as he jumped down from the tree and onto the left path so he could begin walking down the gravel path using chakra focused through his feet to remain steady even though the slope wasn't the most gentle of terrains for this. "I want each of you to focus chakra into your feet. Be careful not to use too little or too much. Kaneko, you're good at tree walking from what I recall so this should be easier for you. The path's not usually used since it's close to the much less steep and dirt one, but it was carved out all the same so I want to see how good each of you are not just with chakra control, but balance as well. And remember to watch your surroundings as well." The Toujitakumi explained but left out how much trouble it could be to try manitaining that same level of control on ground as loose and uneven as gravel tended to be..
It was a bit more complex than just walking on boulders and trees since you could find yourself starting your own personal avalanch and weaken the ground with too much, or slide with too little. Since Nendo got lucky with the perfect amount (like a boss), he demonstrated how to walk properly without slipping or sliding on the gravel, leaving the earth almost just as uneven and undisturbed as before he first set foot on it.
Mitsue keeps an eye out, watching animals and such to make sure they don't come attacking or anything. When they reach the slope area the teen listens to Nendo's instructions before he gives him a nod and starts moving down. He slips a little and wobbles but in the end he manages to make it down without too much trouble or anything.
Kaneko blinks and listens to Nendo's instructions, nodding before moving to the side of the road. It was strange… Texture-wise. It felt a bit more loose, as Nendo had said, so she took a few moments to test and make sure the chakra was just the right amount. Once she had that correct, the girl would walk down the slope with no slippage at all! Yay, success~ She makes sure to keep a hand off her sword, though, while she makes her way down. The girl was a bit worried about keeping her hand on it when she was walking down something potentially slippery. "Phew! Got it~" she says cheerfully, though mostly to herself. Those nearby would hear her. She continues to look around the area, though, once she's at the bottom of the hill. "Nando-Sensei, where exactly are we on the map?" she asks curiously.
Akio at first when he joins them, and steps on starts sliding. Luckily it didn't take long for him to catch himself, and he eventually got his balance. He paused for a moment to get used to it before he spoke. "Okay that was pretty hard. This is different. Alright I think I am okay maybe. What next?" He continues to try to stay with the others, and follow their lead.
Nendo smiled and shook his head a bit as he watched to be sure that everyone made it to the bottom safely. Nodding to each one, Nendo would give all three of them a pat on the shoulder as they reached the end of the slope and began walking to where the roads merged once more. At Kaneko's question, Nendo would pull out the scroll and unroll it to take a look at the map that was included inside. Leaning down slightly for Kaneko to see easily, Nendo would nod his head a bit. "You see the 'D' shape in the path? We're at the right side of that. The road was adjusted when this one began coming apart into the gravel it is today and they decided to use a more earthen path so that they wouldn't have to be troubled with another carved-stone path like what this one was originally made into." The Toujitakumi explained for not only Kaneko, but the other two if they wanted a peek and history lesson.
If no one is paying attention, they might be surprised by a loud obnoxious voice that sounds from ahead. Mitsue and Nendo would recognize it: the voice of Murasame Zora. "Well, look who it is… The illustrious losers! Well, I suppose there's someone new to the group…" he would say, eyeing Akio suspiciously. "I don't know him…" Coming up from behind Zora is Murasame Sentora, one of Zora's cousins. He's panting a bit from having to keep up with the slightly older Murasame. "I'm surprised they let you guys out of the village," Zora continues, ignoring his partner in crime. "You're all so weak, after all…"
Mitsue moves to stand behind Kaneko so he can also look at the map that Nendo is showing to the girl. He looks it over briefly before he hears a voice that causes him to look up in surprise, then frown. Them again…really? ~What are they doing out here?~ he would ask his own group in a neutral tone of voice. He steps away from Kaneko and looks towards the duo, still frowning.
Kaneko looks down at the map curiously, scanning until she sees the D shape. She's about to reply when that annoying voice cuts through the air. She glances up to see the two biggest annoyances in her life, and she scowls. "What're you two doing here?" she asks, hand on her sword. The girl glances back to Mitsue, then, saying, "… Do you.. think they're the ones from the other patrol the Chuunin mentioned..?"
Akio looks between his group, and these others. He doesn't speak up for now, but does examine the two closely. Interesting. They didn't seem like kind people though. Not in the slightest, so for that reason Akio has his arms crossed in front of him. In case they attack he would be ready.
RPCOMBAT: Nendo defends against with a TREMOR-SENSE…39
Nendo would narrow his eyes slightly in annoyance as those two showed up and the Toujitakumi clenched the clay orbs in his hand a bit tightly while glaring at the two in front of himself. "They can't be the ones we're going to meet with. Only people of a competent level are allowed to go outside of the village unsupervised.. Then again, maybe they've got someone close by to hold their hands." The Toujitakumi explained before knocking his right foot to the ground so he could see what was around them all over again. Perhaps there was someone else lurking in the trees.
Actually, they -do- have someone supervising them. As a matter of fact, she was just struggling to bring up the lead. It was indeed Hotaru that was a third member of the allied patrol. Given she was not only a sensor, but likely far more mature than the two Murasame she was with (That's not exactly a good thing) she was assigned to be the individual to supervise them. It wasn't as if Hotaru wasn't doing her job though. As a young sensor in training this is the perfect excercise for her, as well as quite an excercise. She is sweating a little just at the limited amount of movement she had done. Wearing a rather plain red outfit, as well as a cloak over it, she would be seen approaching. "These two are under my care." She would huff indignantly. "Oy, what's wrong with you, Nendo. Mocking your allies like that. We're shinobi of Iwagakure, not wolves picking each other apart!" She was defending their honor just because no one told her these were the people who had hurt Kaneko, else it'd be a different story…
"As a matter of fact!" Zora states, crossing his arms over his chest. "We /are/. I remember the Chuunin told us we'd be running into another group on the way back. I didn't expect it to be you sniveling whiners, though." The boy scoffs a bit at Nendo's suggestion. "We aren't being 'escorted' or anything. I suppose we have a sort of team lead- ah, there she is. But she's not really a supervisor." Sentora is silent, though, just watching his cousin with an expression that shows he's been through this whole scene a number of times.
Kaneko's jaw practically drops right out of her head when she sees Hotaru with the two Murasame. "Why're you…" she doesn't even complete her sentence, though, staring over at the opposing Murasame. "…" She shakes her head to try and break herself out of her daze. "Is there anything you feel like reporting to us?" she asks, voice a bit strained by her suppressed anger.
Akio already didn't like them for the short time he has seen them. They are bullies and it was obvious. That just meant he didn't want to deal with them, but supposedly they had to. He glances at Hotaru as she arrives and offers a small wave before Kaneko gets to speaking. Seems she was ignoring them, so it shouldn't be hard for him to. Either way he was still staying prepared in case they decided to be idiots.
RP: Nendo transforms into BAKUTON-I.
"Wolves have an organization and hierarchy based around family and affection. They do not pick each other apart like the uninformed would like to believe." Nendo stated in a lowered tone as his eyes narrowed and he tossed those clay orbs out lightly for the two idiots to catch. "Wolves respect each other and don't bite at their own family like human idiots so low in rank they get sent out with a genin that graduated long after them acting as their leader." Nendo would explain even as his body began heating and his mind began to blank from unneeded thoughts. "Now, rather than wasting my time insulting wolves while trying to defend a couple of degenerates, why don't you tell me what you've seen in your patrol and then let us be on our way?" Nendo would question with a slight tilt of his head to one side as he waited for the answer from Hotaru and blatantly ignored the other two that weren't worth the attention.
Mitsue says nothing to the other group. More because he can't than anything, cause he sure as knife could yell at them quite a bit right now. Instead he takes a deep breath and just focuses on the task at hand. ~Don't let them egg you on. Don't give in to their taunting. If they want to cause trouble let them initiate it.~
Can someone give her a straight answer? Seriously. All she knows is that Nendo is so hastily insulting others of Kaneko's clan. That, and Kaneko appears to be asking a question… 'Why're you…' To Hotaru, this could mean that she was asking Nendo why he was picking on her clan members. That was the most logical thought. Nendo had already proven that he'd put random students in the hospital, how would she know what was right and wrong? All she knew was that there was a mission, and there was fighting going on in the ranks. A leader needed to know when to step up and defuse it. As the balls of, what she knew as explosive clay, flew in the air towards the Murasame, Hotaru would stab her cane in the ground and create a few handseals.
"Nendo… Before you make yourself look like a fool, please do put aside any hate you have for the Murasame clan and focus on the mission." That is one thing she demands from the other genin, as she looks at Kaneko, face breaking into confusion. Ribbons of water would deflect the clay harmlessly to the side. She didn't need any deaths today. "If they act out of order themselves, I'll put them down as I need to. That includes return insults. That is my responsibility…"
Time for real business now. "I report that we had run into bandits of limited skill down the road. They did not manage to see us." Thanks to the mist technique, she was able to successfully hide her team. She was acting rather pompous.

As the Iwa-shinobi are talking, they somehow managed to draw the attention of those bandits from earlier. Said bandits are just being super sneaky and stealthy, making their way into nearby alcoves/trees/rocks/what-have-you before they launch their attack! It's a flurry of sharp stones, knives, and glass shards that seem to rain down from everywhere! After all, kids are just naturally easy to steal from, right?
Sentora is able to avoid the incoming attacks and he blinks before glancing to make sure his cousin is alright. Both of them. He notices that Zora is able to block an incoming knife and gives a sigh of relief. The Murasame readies a kunai, as Zora makes a few handseals… And then he blinks. Usually the bandits would get… But no, Zora decided to entrap his own allies in the mud! Or at least the 'opposing' patrol. "Let's get out of here!" Zora tells his cousin and Hotaru, already getting out of there. Sentora looks conflicted for a few moments, but he eventually would follow after his cousin, leaving Hotaru and the others behind if that's what it took.
Kaneko nods to Hotaru's information and is about to speak when there is suddenly a rain of terror falling upon her friends (and the other Murasame). The girl jumps out of the way from a few shards of glass, pulling her sword from its sheathe. As she moves to start stabbing people, though, the girl is bogged down by the earth itself. "Wha-…" She hears Zora and Sentora say they're escaping and scowls. "COWARDS!" She shouts after them, now working purely to try and escape the muck.

When the rain of sharp things come from above the only reactin from Akio was….getting stabbed everyway possible. Then it would be shown as a random log from wherever. Of course he had no idea these so called allies would attack them, and stepped right into the trap placed by them. He could possibly catch them, and hold them down as well, but one he didn't want to mess with them or reveal he is a Murasame. Well now he was just trapped.

As the blades came soaring closer, Nendo raised a hand to project a single triangle, and then swept his hand as though he was spreading a deck of cards to project more and more of those triangles in a wall that would explode away from himself and Mitsue to deflect the incoming attacks while Nendo lashed out his right arm to throw a set of shuriken at the bandits while ignoring the Murasame brothers. From the moment they fled they weren't in his mind while the bandits were. For the whirlpool they tried trapping Nendo in he'd use the barriers to form a shell around himself and Mitsue until the ground settled and then blast it away so they were free to defend themselves. While climbing free of the pit his explosive defenses left him in, Nendo would set off the shuriken he launched to see if he hit the bandits.

Child's play. The Kunai would pass right through Hotaru, for it was merely a clone. So if that was a clone, where was Hotaru? Well, she was directly in front of the two individuals who were trying to escape. Now that she is team leader, she has the authority to cut down any who run. She would create twelve handseals at impressive speed, before she spat out a line of fire that split into two and surrounded the two 'genin'. "Zora. Sentora. Stay right there. I have to decide which of you to kill first." It is unwise to betray a Watanabe. They can get quite intense as far as emotions go. "I don't like to cripple people, because it reminds me of what I had to go through, so there's only one outright option for betraying the village." Honestly, she'd hope her allies would take care of the simpleton bandits, while she held her charges in their place. "Sorry Nendo, Kaneko, Mitsue, Akio. I'll keep these two right where they are…"

Zora stumbles for a bit at the sudden genjutsu, stopping/slowing him enough that Hotaru is able to catch both him and Sentora, who was hot on his heels. "Dang it…" he mutters, knowing he was caught. The flames singed at his skin, but other than that, he was fine. "This is what happens when you run," Sentora grumbles, just standing there. He would grip Zora's arm to make sure his cousin doesn't go anywhere.
The bandits just keep throwing sharp things at all the shinobi, though two of them go flying thanks to Nendo's explosions. The others have managed to escape being attacked, so they can just focus on throwing their sharp things at everyone. Where the heck are they getting all them, anyway?
Kaneko is forced to take take two scrapes, one across her cheek and the other on her arm. The knife that whizzed by her face didn't leave anything too deep, but the shard of glass somehow embedded itself into her arm, and she had to pull it out before she started striking at the closest bandit, trying to hit him on the back of the head before she would cut him twice in the stomach.

Akio accepts Mitsue's help out of the earth. Once up and free he quickly looks at the bandits with slight anger in his eyes. Quickly forming through his hand seals he exhales multiple blasts of fire towards these enemies. No reason to go easy on them after they decided to attack us at least. Once he was done firing the fire at them he would get in a position behind Nendo some. He seemed useful for keeping everyone safe.

Nendo would block off most of the attacks directed at himself and Mitsue though some would still get past when Nendo shifted from defense to offense and spotted the bandits near something familiar. On the ground at their feet were two familiar clay orbs that Nendo had been rolling in his palm for a while. They had a sufficient charge to them and Hotaru was right to have been suspicious of those clay orbs as they now blasted rather powerfully at the bandits that moved too close to such simple things. "Mitsue, can I kill the Murasame that tried to trap us?" Nendo would ask as he lowered his right hand from where it had been raised in the seal of confrontation. The expression on the Toujitakumi's face was dead; blank and almost bored as he blew up the offending bandits. The Toujitakumi wasn't upset with the Murasame, he just saw them as something that might return as an obstacle again if they didn't remove it now.

Mitsue is grateful that Nendo is helping with some of the attacks, yet at the same time he feels guilty for making him extend himself. The teen flashes through hand seals letting the attacks hit a clone that only the bandits actally saw. ~You can injure them for their treason, but don't kill them. That will be up to the village to decide,~ Mitsue replies in a neutral tone. He wasn't pleased with them either, but death was a little too far. With Hotaru near the other Murasame he turns his focus to the bandits, casting his genjutsu over a pair of them.

Flying~~~ The bandits rocket up with explosion of Nendo's, forcing them to pretty much land with a big *OOMP*. Wonder if their spines broke… Well, those men are down, and the two that are facing off against Mitsue's genjutsu hardly expect it! They can't even break free from the scary visage that entered the area, and they scramble to try and run, though their muscles won't cooperate.
Zora and Sentora would try to make a break for it, both dashing through the flames to try and escape the angry dragon. Sentora moves a bit faster than his cousin on account of his physical traits. He pumps his arms and legs wildly to flee the fire while Zora relies on using earth jutsu to send him over the flames.
Akio burns some of the bandits to a crisp! Well, he actually only manages to catch one in his flames, but the fire is pretty powerful! So the man with fire on his arms screams and tries to run away while the other two grumble and start trying to throw MOAR SHARP THINGS at the boy.
Kaneko grumbles when only one of her attacks connect, and the two bandits she's facing seem to get a bit cocky. "Can't even hit us, girly~" they taunt, making her even angrier. The girl grips her katana, adjusting just a bit so that she could lash out and strike both of them with the flat of the blade to knock their heads. Maybe that would get them to shut up.

Seems they did not like the burns. All he sees is more sharp things heading his way before another random log is switched with him. He ends up somewhere else with a cut bleeding on his arm. Well now that needs patching up later. He would respond by firing off three more blasts of fire.

Nendo would watch the bandits get blasted and then form hand seals quickly when he heard the annoying duo trying to escape. Shifting the aim of his right hand, the Toujitakumi would fire a single earthen bullet at the back of the fleeing Murasame's head. At the least he wouldn't allow the one who tried trapping them to escape. The other two bursts of bullets were fired off at the bandits that evaded Akio's flames. They'd all be troublesome if he allowed them to escape and in the case of the Murasame, it would be troublesome to allow him to get away unpunished again. This time he'd have Juudai have the responsibility of punishing the rouge duo.
With the two bandits he'd been watching now under the effects of his genjutsu the Gansao turns his attention over to the fleeing Murasame. It seems one of them has escaped beyond his visual range so he'll focus on the one remaining. He may be taking more punishment than the bandits at this point but it's well deserved for what he'd try to do in the past, including just moments before. The Gansao lets the cloak of dark purple chakra emergy and flow around him as he sends out his genjutsu again towards the boy.

Hotaru was betrayed by these two individuals, but at the same time, killing a Murasame not only leaves a bad taste in her mouth, but it's also not her place to kill cowards. That's for Juudai to decide not her. She isn't the Tsuchikage…
Yet
Maybe never, but at the same time she now has to think about working towards her new goal… Beating Nendo to Chuunin. Best to let Nendo handle this then, and let him take the hit. "Threats are okay, but don't actually do it…"
Sentora hesitates as he runs. He was successful in escaping the flames, but… There were still bandits there. The boy was a bit of a coward at heart, but he was also an Iwagakure shinobi. He may not like Kaneko, but… But she was family. Ever since the incident at the river, the boy had been filling slowly with doubt about his cousin, and now his decision lies here… He could go back and help, or he could keep running like the coward he was. The boy closes his eyes for a moment, knowing he had to decide quickly.
In the end, he decides, of course. Kaneko is still struggling with the one enemy that seems to enjoy taunting and while avoiding each of her sword's swings. The young girl was getting a bit tired, so her strikes were slower… easier to dodge. It was to her own surprise that Sentora decided to suddenly come down and strike the enemy in the head. The bandit wasn't expecting that at all, so he went down! Kaneko blinks a few time, surprised, and glances over to her cousin. "Thanks…" she says simply.
Zora ends up getting hit by the muddy bullets, but he doesn't stop trying to run until Mitsue's genjutsu takes hold. The ninjutsuist struggles to escape, but in the end he succumbs to the illusion and falls to his knees with a scowl. The true trouble maker down… And so are all of the bandits thanks to the combined efforts of everyone! Akin managed to make two of them flee with his flames, and Nendo blew twice that many sky-high. The two men Mitsue took down are still haunted by that figure in their minds, though technically they're free from the genjutsu, and even Kaneko managed to knock a bandit or two unconscious! An exciting patrol for what should have been boring.
Akio looks about at everything that transpired. Was this a normal days work of working in Iwa. People betraying there own, and then coming back to save them. All during a fight with bandits. He just sits back away from the group to see what they do next. It is a learning experience at least. No matter how it turned out.
Nendo would look over the fallen bandits, giving one or two a light kick to see what sounds they made while avoiding those trapped in Mitsue's genjutsu. The return of the Murasame caused Nendo's eyes to narrow slowly but he didn't lash out as the male hadn't been the one to raise a hand against him today. "Kaneko, Akio, get these four bandits tied up securely so we can turn them in. Mitsue, keep your Genjutsu on them until they are fully bound. If any of them decide to try struggling, inform them that I've applied an explosive seal to their clothes and had no issue in adding them to the corpses littering the road. Sentora, I want you binding Zora and informing him that I've planted explosives somewhere on his body and that I will not be removing them until he's confessed everything to Juudai." The Toujitakumi explained, his tone being as deadpan as his expression while he began walking toward the other bodies to inspect them as he drew out lengths of rope to bind anyone else he could find.
Mitsue nods to Nendo as he speaks, showing he understands what the Toujitakumi has requested before turning his focus back to his three victims. He holds the genjutsu tightly in place on the three and only releases them once they're fully tied up and warned of the explosives on their persons. Seems like the threat should be good enough, right? Well just in case Mitsue is ready to let his genjutsu reapply itself to their thoughts.
Hotaru has nothing more to add. As the head of the team, unofficially, she will be the one writing the reports on paper. Unless the supervising Chuunin has to. Then she'll enjoy stress relief in some way. "They don't even need to tell the truth, Nendo. Every last one of us saw what happened. I'll need each and every one of you to testify… Papa says that those whom break the law needs to be filed under some form of military tribunal before their judgement is passed…" She turns to Akio and Kaneko, as she walks over to the three Murasame. "Kaneko-chan… Can you tell me what in the world is going on?" She asks, looking at the Murasame. "Akio might like to hear, but I've been left in the dark…" It would just to give Hotaru at least the basics.
Kaneko moves to tie together the bandits, a few of which curled up from being kicked. Once she and Akio have them well in hand, the girl would glance up to Hotaru and say, "Umm… Is it okay if I tell you two later? Right now might be a bad time… And I'm not entirely sure what happened…" Well, she did, but part of her doesn't believe what she saw. She glances over to Sentora to see if he's following order, and he is! The boy's face is a mask of neutrality as he ties up his cousin, and the only time his anger shows is when Zora feels a sharper tug than necessary for the binds. Then he would step back and tell Zora, "If you move, you'll be blown sky high, cuz. You might not want to fight this." The bandits that Mitsue had to handle put up little to no fight, so that was good.
Akio helps tie up the bandits before sitting down again. He didn't mind waiting before Kaneko told them anything. Honestly it might be best to wait anyways. Juudai would be telling the Murasame about him it seemed, and he didn't know how any of them would act. I mean if Zora was so willing to throw a member under the bus to save their own skin, and she had most likely been born here….well what chance did he have. Now he just waits for whenever they're ready to leave.
RP: Nendo reverts to his normal state.
Nendo cut a glance toward Hotaru before his eyes closed and the Toujitakumi let out a sigh so that his body began to cool and relax. "Hotaru, your papa might tell you about due process and everything else that is needed to counteract a liar… but I can tell you a simple way past all of the lies and whimpers. Honesty. I will not waste my time having to testify time and time again against some snivveling spork that's too busy trying to make excuses to cover up his actions rather than explaining the truth of his actions. If you want to try processing him through your clan's military format that's fine… But you'll have to do it /AFTER/ Juudai's finished sentencing him to whatever fate she, as the Tsuchikage, decides." The Toujitakumi spelled out to be sure he made himself clear before looking over the work done by the others now that he'd finished his share of tying up the bandits that survived his explosions.
Moving the bandits to the side of the road and binding them to the trees so they'd not go anywhere, Nendo would motion to Kaneko, Mitsue, Akio, Sentora, and Hotaru. "Now then, we're going to finish moving along the route and once we've circled back to the village we will deliver Sentora to a Jounin so he can be taken to a holding cell until his punishment has been decided by Juudai..Any questions?" Nendo asked as he looked over the gathered genin, waiting a moment to see if they had anything to argue, if not, he'd start leading the way while reminding them that the formation was Akio at his back followed by Kaneko and Mitsue. The others could fall in where they wished but he wanted Akio between himself and Kaneko in case he proved himself to be a problem as well.
Once everyone is tied up Mitsue stands and looks around at the others, moving along as well to make sure all the not dead types were well bound. Once he's satisfied he moves to meet with the others, listening to Nendo and giving him a nod. He doesn't say anything when Nendo talks about how things were going to go, even if he thinks that Nendo might have been a little snappy…it's actually rather friendly as compared to how he's been before. And then they're off once again to finish their rounds.
Pushed off to later, Hotaru remains silent. "That better be a promise…" After all, since when did… friends… hide things from each other? She wouldn't hide anything important from Kaneko… Accept one thing… Hotaru's face curls into a sort of depressed look as she realizes she hadn't actually had a handle on anything… At all.
Kaneko, before falling into formation, would nod to Hotaru. The girl would try to give her friend's hand a small squeeze if allowed, but otherwise would continue on with the mission. She wasn't all too happy about how things had turned out on the mission so far. Sure, they had managed to take down some bandits, but if Zora was willing to attack her on a patrol, what else was going on within her clan…
Sentora looks a bit stricken, but he only offers a nod to the Toujitakumi. He would keep keep to the side for now, just sort of keeping an absent eye on things around him. What would he do? He didn't want to be imprisoned for life… he just wanted to be a shinobi for the Hidden village! Sure he took a few wrong turns, but… He gives a mental sigh, silent the rest of the way.
The patrol would find that nothing else has gone amiss on their route, so they could return to Iwagakure. The Chuunin that sent them all out looks a bit surprised that one of their own came back tied up with the other criminals, but he takes it in stride. Nendo and Hotaru would be taken aside for a report for the time being, and the others would be free to do what they like while Zora and Sentora made their way to the local jail with the prisoners. The two Murasame would, of course, be escorted by a few guards…
