"Wrestle Me IRL"
Village Entrance - [Kumogakure]
Miyu left on a mission to investigate reports of bandits armed with a ninja bear attacking merchants and cargo shipments. She managed to track them to their camp, nab the bandits, retrieve what was left of the bacon they had stolen, and come back with a bit of a bonus. Now, the dark-skinned, white-haired Kemonoken returns through the Hidden Cloud's front gates, accompanied by a new face. A ninja bear. Except, not really, because she's a human. But the human girl is a Kemonoken like Miyu herself, just of a different fighting style and with manners and understanding that make her seem like maybe she hasn't had the most civilized upbringing.
The Jounin's left arm has a slightly red-stained bandage around her bicep, but she seems otherwise fine. Still, the fact she was injured at all indicates the bandit mission wasn't as much of a cake walk as one might imagine. It's very early on a winter morning, it is cold thanks to the mountains they live in, but Miyu's outfit is surprisingly sparse. Perhaps all her monk training hardened her against extreme temperatures.
She looks to the side to make sure Toto is following her as she approaches the gate guards to tell them what's going on.
So far, the biggest settlement that Toto has seen has been small towns and hamlets, and then mostly from a distance. So coming to a 'Village' the size of a city is definitely a new experience for her. She seems startled and about to get in a fight with nearly everything she encounters. She suplexed as least three goats on the way here, and reacted to the gates by going, "!?" and attempting to wrestle them. Once she has been successfully escorted inside, she looks in amazement and confusion and alarm at all the buildings and people and… Well… Everything!
"!?!?!???!??!?" is her reaction.
She appears to be prepared to wrestle the first thing that makes itself available to do so.
Coming to the gate from the opposite side, Seiji was in training gear. Sweats and a jacket with an ornate katana slung behind him. He was already looking like he's been up for a while and the bit of sweat that is now drying on his face shows he's already been working hard. Still he doesn't waist much time as he prepares to leave to do more training, his missions have been complete and he had a bit of time before he met with his sensei.
As he starts to leave he notices a woman and a girl making their way up, he's not seen the two before but he still offers them a smile, "Hello." he says to them as the gets near. Though he does notices how Toto is looking and for some reason he just keeps enough distance from her. "You ok?" he asks Miyu as he sees her arm, and noticing that she is sparsely dressed, it seems she must be used to this weather or her clothes were stolen, still he is being polite.
"Miyu-sama! Welcome back!" one of the gate guards says.
Miyu nods in return and says, "Thank you."
The other guard peers over at Toto and asks, "And who's this? I don't recall seeing her before."
Miyu explains, "Her situation is complicated. I will need to speak to the Raikage or Head Ninja Michiko-sama about her. I found her on my mission to deal with those bandits, and she agreed to come back with me." She looks over to make Toto is still there and not causing problems, but then spots Seiji approaching. She nods her head to him. "Just a scratch. Thank you for asking. I'm Miyu. What was your name again?"
Toto just keeps standing there, looking this way and that wildly every few seconds, bow-legged, arms akimbo, looking pretty weird. When Miyu checks on her, that's all she's doing. Within the seconds she has noticed a mailbox giving her the stink eye, and moments later, she has suplexed it into the street, metal post and all. "WHOOOOAAAAAHH!" *CRASH*
A very complicated situation indeed.
The dark skinned Kumo moves so that he isn't in the way, granted he does listen as Miyu speaks with the guards. He looks back towards the guards, he recognizes a few but he doesn't say anything to them. He looks back to Miyu when she looks at him and addresses him. He looks to her arm, nodding his head, "Hey you made it back and thats all that matters really, especially if the mission is successful." he says to her. When Miyu introduces herself, he nods. "I'm Reizei Seiji." he says to her. "I'm on of the Branch House, if that matters." he says almost as an after thought. "Nice to meet you Miyu-san."
Than there is Toto who he has kept in his vision as he looks at Miyu, but when the girl goes off to suplex the mailbox, he quirks a brow up at her. "OH damn." he says. "The mailbox didn't even see it coming." he smiles trying to joke a little. Seiji yawns a little and begins rolling his right shoulder a bit. "Whats your name?" he asks as he looks towards Toto, than he glances at Miyu to see if either one will say.
Miyu is in the middle of nodding to Seiji and acknowledging his introduction when there's a sudden crash. Miyu turns to look in that direction and notices Toto's property destruction. She heaves a sigh.
One of the two guards stands up in shock, and yells out, "O-Oi! What do you think you're doing!?"
Miyu waves him off and says, "I'll take care of it. Don't worry about it."
The still-seated guard looks up at Miyu and asks in an unconvinced tone, "Are you sure? If she keeps vandalizing Village property like that…"
Miyu just starts walking away and says, "Yes. Sorry for the trouble. Seiji-san, if you could come with me?" Then she heads towards her new recruit and says, "Seiji-san, this is Toto. Toto-san, this is Seiji. Also, Toto-san, please stop breaking things. The mailbox is not a threat to you."
Toto looks up, still breathing quickly, eyes darting around furtively, seeking her next target for demolition when Miyu approaches with a boy in tow. Seiji is introduced to her, and she is introduced to Seiji. In response to Miyu's admonishment, she simply retorts. "It is not a threat NOW!" Then she eyes Seiji up and down, before suddenly throwing her arms up over her head and yelling, "Wrestle me! Wrestle me in real life! Toto will defeat you!" She then starts growling and making clawing gestures with her fingertips.
Quite the character this one.
"Sure." he says as he looks over to Miyu when she asks him to come with her. As he is introduced to Toto, he gives a wave, "Hello Toto-san." he says to her. Though when she asks him to wrestle him, he chuckles, "Nah, you probably would beat me." he grins at Toto, than he looks to MIyu. "Alright so where to?" he asks. He glances over at the guards and seeing them reacting to Toto-san. 'Gotta think up a nick name for Toto-san.' he seems to chuckle a bit to himself.
Miyu is very patient. She had to be. It's part of being a monk. You do not meditate for hours or days without moving if you're fidgetty and impatient. But she still finds Toto's antics to be a bit… Wearying already. "Toto-san, this is not the time for wrestling. We should go find Raikage-sama or Michiko-sama and let them know you're here. Then we can prepare arrangements for your living situation…"
She said that mainly to Toto, but she stated their destination so that Seiji would hear too. She looks towards him and adds on, "Also, if you know of any good places to purchase bacon, that would be appreciated. It seems to be her favorite food."
Toto frowns at Seiji declining her challenge. She isn't the type to take no for an answer when it comes to fights, but Miyu also intervening makes her scowl even deeper. "Cat say Cloudy Village have strong people! Strong as Cat, or even stronger! Why are you stopping Toto from fighting them!?" She folds her arms and pouts a bit when she at least hears mention of bacon. Well… That's ONE promise kept. Maybe the other will come later. "Toto hungry. Will follow for now." She looks Seiji over again, suspicious of someone who admits to being weaker than her without even wrestling to determine that, and then prepares to plod along after them to wherever the heck they're going.
Seiji just shakes his head, it was already worrisome dealign with his own self and training, so as he looks to Miyu and Toto, it looks like Miyu has her work cut out for her. Granted he does take a minute to admire Miyu. Upon hearing that they are going to look for the Raikage or Michiko-sama. "Well I know the Raikage-sama was training with me, but I don't know where he went after that." he says to Miyu. Thinking, "As for Michiko-sama, I haven't seen her in a while." He shrugs but figures they are at their office, than he looks to Toto. He quirks a brow up at her, his golden eyes watch her for a moment, "Well let Miyu-san get you situated than we can grab food." he smiles at her and looks to Miyu giving her a, 'I hope your up for this.' look.
Miyu isn't sure how long bacon will remain a sufficient bribe. It looks like already, what the bandits were using to control Toto is becoming less effective. She has transitioned to also seeking challenging opponents. Her goals are evolving as she is exposed to more new experiences and new information. How much more will Toto want? Can she be convinced to want the right things if she's guided properly? Is there a way to control her without having to resort to bribes and promises?
Better yet, is there a way to make it so they don't HAVE to control her? Rules and discipline are one thing, but dictating another's life is something else entirely. She catches Seiji's look when she turns to make sure Toto is following after her, once she's begun walking towards the administration building. Her single functioning eye takes in what he is silently telling her, and nods subtly. She hopes she's ready too. She has a feeling this is going to be a more challenging disciple than she's used to dealing with.
She sighs and prepares to try to explain to those in charge why Toto shouldn't be locked up for aiding those bandits and should instead be enlisted as one of the Hidden Cloud's own ninja.
