Skill Description
"Auspice Of The Pit Mother" is a defensive Ninjutsu of the Doujouji Mask Ninjutsu style. This Ninjutsu calls forth a large serpent with incredibly durable scales, dense tissue, and a heavy skeleton. The serpent winds around and engulfs the jutsu caster and prevents incoming attacks from hitting him or her. However, due to the size and weight of the serpent, it takes time to unwind once an attack has been defended against. This prevents the one protected by the giant serpent from attacking opponents in return.
The serpent's protection is formidable, but not air-tight. Attacks utilizing slow-moving gasses such as smoke, as well as insect-based attacks, and various other specialized attacks that do not affect a foe in a conventional manner, all bypass this technique.
