Skill Description
Amaterasu Diffusion is a doujutsu based technique deriving from those who have access to Blaze Release. Amaterasu can be used in a way that eats away at rival attacks, overwhelming them with the heated flames before a jutsu comes in contact with the user. The technique is able to fizzle away water, overwhelm wind, crumble earth, scorch through fire, and swathe through lightning. The nature of this defense is only useful against chakra signatures and not taijutsu techniques. If the defense doesn't completely overwhelm the opposing attack it still loses some of it's potency allowing less damage to be received whenever the attack hits.
