Chakra Bandages
These bandages are similar to Scrolls, in that they are a length of material inscribed with a Jutsu formula. The difference is that the material is a double-layer linen bandage, and the only thing that they can be used for is infusing Chakra directly from the Medic-Nin into the patient. This is performed by wrapping the Chakra Bandage around a wound or injury and reciting a chant known to the bandage's maker while concentrating Chakra into the bandage with one hand. This will activate the Jutsu formula, which will in turn use Chakra to mend the damaged flesh, muscle, or bone. Bones take longer to heal, and will require a period of rest even after a Chakra Bandage has been applied and used in full. When the Chakra is expended, the Jutsu formula becomes inert, and the bandage itself takes on the role of a normal bandage — keeping a wound closed and covered to prevent infection.
