This defensive ability is derived from Earth Release Ninjutsu, but is not truly Earth Ninjutsu in the sense most would think of it. It creates a layer of dry dirt around the user's body, a couple inches thick, to help resist some attacks, or to potentially negate low-impact attacks. This technique is weak against Lightning Release attacks.
