Dual Blade
Dual Blade is a Kenjutsu technique that makes use of two blades for both paired-weapon defenses and attacks. As a defense, the weapon-user attempts to block either one opponent's attacks or the attacks of two opponents at once. However, the enemies must be more or less in front of the defender not one in front and one behind. Also, this technique can be used as an attack that simultaneously feints with one blade and then strikes with the other, or attacks with both at once to make it more likely that at least one will get through, or similar tactics. The focus of Dual Blade as an attack is speed and accuracy, rather than force, and thus it tends to do less damage than might otherwise be the case.
