This Ninjutsu Style uses Chakra-infused ink tattooed onto the ninja's skin to turn his or her own body into a living Scroll. The tattoos can be used for all the things Scrolls can, though the more complex the function, the more ornate — and potentially the greater the size — of the given Jutsu Formula or Seal. It should be noted that these tattoos are TEMPORARY. While they will not wash off in water nor be disrupted by wounds that might mar the Formulas, once the Chakra and/or object stored in a given tattoo has been used up, the ink vanishes without a trace. This means that the tattoos must be reapplied after they are used, which is time-consuming, painful, and requires appropriate physical components: brush or needles, special ink, etc.
