Flowing Aversion
Flowing Aversion is the capability of an advanced martial artist to redirect attacks made against them in a soft, seemingly effortless manner. It is something of a blend between blocking and dodging. The user will rarely outright stop the blow being made, but they will usually push it away from its target somehow; they will rarely defend entirely by moving out of the way, but they will often slide past the danger. Though it takes great knowledge and skill to perform properly, Flowing Aversion boils down to simply brushing attacks aside. Provided there is some safe surface to touch, Flowing Aversion can even defend against attacks that would penetrate a normal weaponless taijutsu block, such as blade strikes.
