Instead of simply pushing Ki into the body, the Kemonoken uses a massive amount of Ki to toughen his or her body AND create a tangible and barely-visible aura of Fierce Ki that clings to the user like a second skin. This aura is solid enough to act as a barrier between a Kemonoken and almost any threat or attack.
